Providence Mill Creek family medicine is TERRIBLE to put it politely! I had a routine physical and medication check with lab work being done prior to the visit in April 2023. All results were in the therapeutic rage as usual for the past 25+ years aka maintenance medication. However, Dr. ********* who happens to be AT LEAST the tenth doctor I've seen in the last ten years, sent my refill to the wrong pharmacy even though I specifically told him which pharmacy to send it to! Long story short, I have been without my medication for 5 days and have had to call back and forth between two different pharmacies and the ***** Providence Mill Creek Family Medicine to straighten this mess out myself! Goodbye to Providence and their revolving door of doctors and F BBB rating. Good riddance!

Clinical Staff from the ***************** reviewed our patient's chart. The clinic does acknowledge that the April 2023 prescription was sent to a local Pharmacy instead of the requested PPS mail order pharmacy and apologizes to our patient for any inconvenience due to the incorrect delivery.

Our patient requested a prescription refill on Friday June 9th, the request was received by the clinic on June 12th was approved by the clinic physician on Tuesday June 13th. A clinic representative has reached out to our patient to clarify any questions they may have.

We thank our patient for this feedback.

I scheduled an appt with a providence urgent care. When I arrived, I was told they did not accept my insurance. Then I was told in order to be seen I would have to pay $259 for the visit alone not including testing. When I asked why I would be charged $100 more than a patient without insurance, I was told it was because I had insurance. They arent even utilizing my insurance, which equates to essentially no insurance but will cost people who are covered, more money. Just for having insurance thats not accepted by providence. It makes no sense. Terrible way to conduct care for people. Complete garbage.

      Thank you for this feedback.

Current  Providence Health and Services policy is that insured patients do not
qualify for uninsured pricing when they chose to be seen out of network.  We would encourage our patient to work with their insurance provider to find
locations they can be seen to best utilize their benefits.

I had Surgery to remove my Appendix a couple years ago, it was supposed to be routine, the Surgeon stated it would be simple, after the surgery I felt off but went home, after a couple days I had to go back in to get checked, I was told everything looked fine, later that night I had f**** coming out of the incision in my belly button so we went back in, they operated again and closed the hole they had left in my intestine but then left the abscesses that had formed and sent me back home where I started to somehow starve because I wasn't getting any nutrients as nothing would stay in my digestive system. My intestines started to shut down and I was losing weight rapidly so we went back in, a different surgeon saw me, decided I was getting septic and not doing well, he said dying, and went back in to fix the previous mistakes. I was out of work for long enough to be let go, we were billed like crazy for the mistakes the Surgeon had made and never offered even an apology for s******* up so monumentally. We just finished paying this medical debt off and then I heard that this same surgeon was still practicing and making errors with other patients and being taken to court and settling, I found this to be very concerning as there seems to be no accountability within the providence system for Surgeons and the having to pay for a hospital stay that only existed because of the hospitals s**** up is the icing on the cake. Avoid Willamette Falls Hospital for Surgery at all costs and avoid providence health systems in general if you are looking for quality care, empathy and patient's rights. I am still having pain to this day but I am very hesitant to find care at this point as it seems like the kind of care you receive will leave you feeling much worse or even dead.

They did do a review and found nothing wrong, I am not certain why that would be enough, the review obviously passed over the problems by treating them as separate procedures, this is misleading and disingenuous. Providence has failed to reach out until this response, this is telling. I disagreed with the review and still do. Providence can reach out to me, they have all of my contact information and they have never followed up until this response. The issues with each procedure weee caused by the preceding procedure, the whole do no harm thing was tossed out in favor of profit. I am not satisfied with this response in the least, providence does something wrong, does a review of their own practice, throws out the patient and decides they did fine. This is bad business, this is garbage level logic and it should not stand.

The worst. The absolute worst. There should be an option for burning the whole thing down. Terrible phone system. Difficulty reaching the correct person through a labyrinth of phone numbers. At least three different web pages, none of which is the right one. I would rather die of syphilis than using Providence Health.

I think this is one of the most dis-honest hospitals and when I called they told me they are affiliated with ************. I stopped going to Cedars years ago because they make up charges for procedures that are not done. My doctor moved to provident from his private practice and I went and saw him there for a 15 minutes visit. Between insurance payment, my co-pay and what later on Providence charged me they got ***** dollars. When I called twice, they each person had a different story to tell me. Oh it was for time that doctor spent after he saw you. It was for your procedure; I did not have a procedure, he just looked in my throat Unfortunately, hospitals have a way of charging the insurance extra and their coding and the partial payment falls on the patience responsibility as well for something that is not justifiable. Providence and ************ used to be great hospitals and they are theives now.

I've been trying for weeks to find a new ******* care doctor. I've spent hours on hold just waiting to see if doctors listed on their OWN WEBSITE as accepting new patients is actually accepting new patients. The first 5 doctors I've tried are no longer accepting patients. They have a very small number of experienced doctors available IF you can even get through. The worst customer service I've ever experienced.

If I could rate this hospital negative stars I most certainly would. They don't care for their patients at all they are just a corporation that only cares about the dollar signs. They messed up with my situation. I needed to have a procedure done because I have a brain aneurysm and I called them, because I had used them before with different insurance, and ask them if they took my new insurance period I gave them my insurance information and they said yes they took the insurance. therefore, I went ahead and had the procedure done, which was a necessary procedure. I then get a bill from them saying that I owe them $15,000 and that my insurance company only paid 50%. Apparently, they were out of network however, they told me they were in network. I am now left with a $15,000 bill that I cannot pay. I have called them over and over. I have emailed them. I've been trying to get ahold of them since the end of September and I have been unable to get anyone to respond to me. When I do get someone on the phone they say they're going to transfer me to a supervisor and then the supervisor does not call me back. Under the surprise billing act, ******* needs to pick up the rest of my bill because they billed me for something I was not aware of and gave d no warning I am seeking that they pay the rest of my medical bill as they are the ones that screwed up and told me they took my insurance and then they would refuse to get back to me for six months but had the audacity to bill me every single month without contacting me. Do not go to this hospital. They claim to be one of the best hospitals in Western Washington and that is an utter and complete lie.have to have brain surgery for my aneurysm and because Swedish screwed up I have to go and look for another brain surgeon. Therefore, if something happens to me it is the fault of Swedish hospital.

They will price gouge the living hell out of you. They will only offer you a payment plan because you will most likely make too much money to qualify for a financial reduction after they rip you off for the amount of care that was provided.

If I could rate them into the negatives I would. Literally the worst experience I have ever had, from the customer care to the administrative assistant, its all HORRIBLE. I wouldn't wish them on my worst enemy. I got set up with providence insurance when i started a new job. Instead of linking my account to past records of mine, they made me a new account, to which they then couldn't link, to which only 1 of my profiles was covered by insurance, to which the both profiles were being charged. This took months to workout. Then, my doctors ****** closed! I go no notice no info, just an email saying your doctor's ****** is now closed, you need to find a new provider. What the actual f*** I finally said s**** this and i now pay for out of pocket insurance with ******. Unfortunately Im still double covered now due to my work, you would think this would be a benefit, BUT no! I go to ******, I pay my $5 copay, i have no other charges, all things are covered by my ***************** I then get a bill for $250 from Providence for going out of district to a Kiaser. WHAT THE ****

I called to get a time for my prescription and was hung up on. I went to the location and despite being in pain and sick, the pharmacist was rude and yelled at me. The manager refused to apologize and because I was emotional, said they wouldnt fill my prescription. The clinic called and then the pharmacist accused me of having my doctor **** and yell at him. He was maybe 23 with a big bushy man bun thing and obviously not in the right field. I told him I would most likely have to go to the emergency room and he didnt care. His manager was really awful and mean and treated me like I was a total inconvenience. They told me they were really busy with ********* and five minutes later, everyone in the pharmacy left for lunch. I even apologized even though I did nothing wrong and they still wouldnt fill my prescription. DO NOT GO YO THIS PHARMACY!!they do no care about their customers at all - its a little clique where they only care about covering each other and getting their breaks no matter how much patients suffer for it.
