I signed a contract with takeout times for advertising on a local menu Oct 2023. I had visited the restaurant several times and in March 2024 I talked to ***, who said he would setup a time to research and get back to me, possibly refund. Since then I have called several times, left several messages and never get a return call. Contract was to be fullfilled within 6 months and it is now 8 months later and the local restaurant said they had no idea about what was going on.Initial Complaint

We were contacted mid 2023 with an advertising opportunity with Takeout Times. We were to be featured on the rear page of a restaurant flyer to go out with 3 highly recognized locations here in ****************. We were instructed it would be a ***** day process to see the flyer and have it begin to go into print. We are now a year in with multiple calls to Takeout times with no responses for months. The flyer has never arrived and now after contacting the restaurants that were to be handing them out they state there was no flyer nor agreement with takeout times. We are seeking 100% full refund due to Takeout Times not providing the agreed upon service and now s******* us on our annual advertising expenses./Initial Complaint

I paid The Table Times $1197.00 on 8/11/22 to have my business be on their takeout menus at a local restaurant. The restaurant never received them. The company said they would reimburse me which they waited until 2/29/24 to mail me a check. The check bounced and I turned them into the police. They also sent me a check made out to someone else. The company called me said they were sorry and they would immediately send me a cashiers check which they still haven't done. I have left multiple voicemails with no response from anyone. They have now changed their business name to The Takeout Times **** and The Takeout Times LLC with the same owner/president's name as The Table Times **** and The Table Times LLC. The police said they can't get anyone to respond to them either and they can't do anything else for me.Initial Complaint

I paid this company $599 on 9/14/2023. This business called me and promised to provide an advertisement of my business with local restaurants on take out menus in my area. They never provided the service to me. They will not return my phone calls or emails. Most of the phone numbers for their business are disconnected now. They will not refund my money. I have been requesting a refund for months since they will not provide the service they made an agreement on. I now see that hundreds of others that have been scammed by this company are coming out with the same issue and problem. This company stole my money and did not provide a service!!! In December of 2023, *********************** from the Takeout Times reached out to me to solicit business for the Takeout Times in the form of paying for an ad to be featured in one of our local restaurant's menus. I paid $1200 with the promise that once I agreed to the "artwork (absolutely ******, if I do *** say)", then up to 90 days later, the ad would be published in the menu at ********************* in ******, CO. Once I agreed to their s***** artwork, I would reach out to get an update, and someone would string me along stating we are still within their "90 day" turnaround period. After that, I would reach out every so often, and I just quit getting responses. I paid $1200 to these crooks, signed a contract, and am left with nothing. I was contacted by the takeout times in Oct of 2023 for an add space on a menu here in ************. The price was negotiated for 1500 for the year, I would have my add on the back half of the menu and only my add. I was told to get my information in asap as they wanted to get the menus out the first of the year. January came and went... no menu I message ***** the sales man I spoke with in Feb to see what was going on, no response. I messaged the company its self and did get a phone call about its taking the restaurant a bit longer on their end and it will be done soon, I will have a copy of the menu in the mail in the next couple of weeks I was told. I was also told that I get a whole year from the time the menu is delivered. March comes and goes nothing, I email again and call. April has come and gone and I have emailed 3-4 times about a refund and called no one has called me back. I did receive and email that it is a no refund policy..... I told them you have breached your contract on timeline. I have explained to them that I allocated that money to advertise for this year. on 9/22/23 i purchased a section of advertisement from the takeout times for the amount of $499.00 and then on 9/27/23 i was up sold to a bigger and better deal for an additional amount of $399.00. my account number with this business is: ********. as to date they avoid all calls, never return calls, and have yet to uphold there end of the contract. i am seeking my money back. I was contacted by "The Takeout Times" in regards to a marketing opportunity for my business. They offered me services stating they would feature my business in their Takeout booklets that are handed out with restaurant Takeout food. I was told my business would have an entire page to itself. These services were supposed to be fulfilled January 2024. I left several emails and voice-mails in January before finally getting in touch with a representative. They told me that they were behind a bit but would get them taken care of shortly. It is no mid April and still I have not received my marketing services I have paid for for my business. I spoke with a representative 15 April ******************************************************* back the following day to process a refund. I never received a call back. I've called numerous times, left several emails and voice-mails and have no contact with anyone regarding my services. I contacted my bank today and they cannot help get my money back because of the amount of time that has past since my purchase of these services. My ultimate goal is to get a full refund for the services that I purchased that I never received.Business Response

I spoke with *************** on 2/12/24 and he assured me he would have a resolution to this 8 month scam. He said he would call me on 2/26 which he never did. I called and called and reached him on 3/4/24 when he said he would issue me a FULL refund. I have been trying to get it ever since. I spoke to *************** again 4/3/24 when he told me they couldn't issue the refund via my card (a lie) and would mail me a check. He said he would call me on 4/10/24 to make sure I received it. Another lie because he never called and has been dodging my calls and won't return them. I contacted the bank and they said my card can be refunded. This is a scam.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:I have been told that "a check is the mail" for the past several months. I live in the same state. Mail should not take more than a couple days. I have called numerous times and talked to ***. My calls usually get avoided but on the rare occasion he answers, he tells me a check is in the mail or he will issue me another. It is false. No check has been mailed. The first time I was told he would mail a check was February 12th. Today is April 19th. Still have not received a refund.

No. No refund check as they have promised. In their response to you 4/19, they said they reissued it and no, I have not received a refund check. I have left SEVERAL messages and nobody from Takeout Times will return my call. I have searched on ****** to see many have been scammed in this same manner with also promised of "a check in the mail" with no check ever being sent. But to answer your question, no. No check, no proof of a check like a check number or tracking info.
