I contacted PayRange and PayRange will not issue a refund for my remaining balance because of an arbitrary 90 day policy. I am not asking for the refund of a good or service, I am asking for my own money that is held by Payrange without my consent. There was no reminder that I only have 90 days to get my balance refunded. I do not go to local businesses or vending machines that accept PayRange as form of payment. I would like the remaining balance refunded.Business Response

Pay range is a app for laundry services in my apartment complex where I reside. You download the app add funds from your debit or credit card and then you use your Bluetooth to find which ones are available and you can wash your clothes that way without having to go to laundromats to get quarters it's been fine for about a year and this last incidents it wasn't letting me use the money I put on for my debit card and then it was refunding money it's just pretty much what haywire I've contacted the company on many occasions and have not had any luck on getting this issue resolved currently the only $25 it's really upsetting and frustrating for me because I cannot get a resolution from this company.Business Response

In March of 2022, I funded $25 to my PayRange account for my laundry unit in the apartment. We had to unexpectedly move out in July of 2022. No where near me uses PayRange for any services and I requested my money to be returned back to me. They stated the could not because it fell outside the 90 day refund service. However, I am asking for my own money back, not a refund for any services or goods. As stated in another complaint, my money is being held hostage without my consent. This is not right, especially considering I never agreed to not receiving my money back within 90 days of adding it. I would like my money refunded to my card.Business Response

On the 07/27/2022, I asked Payrange to refund my account balance of $8.25. My identifier is F36BB2A3-6F9D-4C53-A4E1-21F4ADF2187A and my email request number is *******. They refused because it "falls outside the 90-day balance refund policy". But I am not asking for the refund of a good or of a service. I am asking for my own money that is held by Payrange without my consent. Plus I cannot use Payrange at all in my everyday life as it is not accepted anywhere. On the 26 of June 2022 seven charges of $25.00 each had been deducted from my debit card by PayRange for my PayRange laundry APP account. Since $25.00 had previously been loaded on the account, the new balance came to $200.00 on the account. I don't know how this happened but I don't need $200.00 on my laundry account and would not have loaded so large an amount. I immediately called my bank to dispute the charges and they cancelled the card and sent mailed me a dispute form which I have yet to complete. I first attempted to contact PayRange a couple of days after noticing the discrepancy on the 29th of June, and requested a refund. I exchanged several e-mails with them and received one asking for my address so that they could send a check, which I responded to, but I haven't heard back from them. I attempted to call a couple of times, and could only get an automated recording which said I would call me back when an operator was available. They never called back and I haven't heard back. I want a full refund of the balance of the accounts before I close the account and delete the ****Business Response

Payrange allows fraudulent partners space on their platform and enables them to steal your personal information.I used Payrange's marketplace feature, where you can fill out surveys, etc for credits to use on Payrange.I have multiple marketplace vendor credits outstanding. I spent an extended amount of time filling out the surveys but in payrange it still says 'completion pending' for all vendor surveys I completed.I am getting an insane amount of spam email from these vendors now, with no compensation.Payrange customer service is terrible. They send you the same template response repeatedly.They claim they are not responsible for the shoddy 'vendors' they host on their app.I would rather have to get quarters for my building's laundry than deal with this dishonest app and company.Business Response

I'm sorry for the inconvenience that you encountered.
In Marketplace, once they click on the offerwall tile, it goes into the offerwall which has two tabs. In the Progress tab, they can see once they are working on and once that are complete. If a task is not showing complete, but user thinks they completed, they can click the task to open and at bottom is missing credit like. From there, user can report issue. Please note the vender is separate from PayRange in which you completed the surveys.
As per checking with our second level of support. Unfortunately, we cannot nor restore any credits. They mentioned that it would either happen automatically or you have to contact the place that you attempted to gain the credits from.
They have tested this on their app and other user's account and it does credit their account.

I learned that after going online checking something to my bank account af few days ago, I saw Payrange Mobile (was told same as Payrange) that they charged me $25 that I don't know who they are; then I was alerted of the charges again today, May 29, 2022 that Payrange Mobile charged me 4 more times higher amount of dollars which was a total of $275 that I have no earthly idea how they were hacking into my account to charge off my card w/o me knowing who they are and they are a THIEF!! One of the account was already posted for $25 so it won't show there only the ones pending. I called them up after I talked to my bank and having them to block the payments after it's posted in hopes this scamming business will not do this again. I will be following up my account to make sure they did not get my hard earn monies that they stole from me. I have no business doing with these and I have never heard of them. This was an embarrassment when one of the other merchant I do service with and know was in this same fraudulent group list. This really upsettd me and didn't make my weekend when these thieves of people who have nothing better to do is to do childish juvenile things on people to steal from their account.Business Response

If do not recognize PayRange and believe to have fraudulent activities on your card, please contact your bank in order to dispute the charges. This way you will receive the money taken from your card and suspend the account whoever was using your card to load funds onto PayRange.
