      Complaint Summary:I am filing this complaint regarding Dennis Uniform due to significant delays in fulfilling my order and poor customer service practices. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue through their designated communication channels, I have received little to no helpful response. Description of the Problem:On 7/8/24, I placed and order for school uniforms through Dennis Uniform, which is the exclusive supplier for my child's school. According to their website, orders should be shipped within 2-3 weeks. However, it has now been nearly 3 months, and I have yet to receive my full order or any clear indication of when it will be shipped. The company's communication practices are subpar. Dennis Uniform does not answer phone calls, directing customers instead to communicate their online ticketing system. When I have submitted inquiries through this system, the tickets are often closed without providing adequate information about my order status or offering a meaningful resolution. The company has repeatedly failed to provide concrete answers regarding the delay. Monopolistic ******************* has an exclusive contract with Dennis Uniform, meaning we are unable to purchase uniforms from other vendors. This leaves us at the mercy of their delays, effectively creating a monopolistic situation in which we have no other purchasing options. This severely limits parents' ability to find timely alternatives and places an undue burden on those waiting for essential school uniforms. Resolution:1. Immediate update on the status of my outstanding orders. 2. Improvement in Dennis Uniform's customer service practices, including providing direct customer support through phone calls. 3. Accountability for delays. Dennis Uniform should be held accountable for this discrepancy between their advertised shipping timelines and the reality of their delays. 4. Consideration for compensation for the inconvenience caused by the delay and lack of communication.

Unforeseen delays from our vendors have occurred however DENNIS Uniform sends out regular automatic email updates for all unfulfilled orders.  We will review our communication channels to ensure better accessibility for our customers incase there was an issue that prevent the receipt of those updates.

      A review of your account shows you requested the cancelation and refund of your outstanding Polo and Cardigan on October 4th and October 7th. Those requests were processed and the items  successfully refunded.

      Order *********** Placed on July 25, 2024 at 10:32 pm The order was only partially filled. The item was needed at the end of August. We were forced to purchase an alternative.we paid over 100 in total. One sweater arrived in the last week and the second item never arrived. We paid ***** for the item that never arrived - this is the refund amount we are requesting

Our fulfillment process involves numerous steps and once an order reaches a certain point it is not possible for a **************** agent to cancel the order. At the time of your initial interaction with our team the final item on your order had already been packaged for shipment and was awaiting pick up by ****. Due to that status we have to submit a request for the package to be located before cancelation could occur. Due to the high volume of packages sent each day this request cannot always be actioned upon before the package leaves our facility. The agent did submit a request to see if the package could be stopped and we received confirmation of the package intercept. Your cancelation request was processed, and an email confirmation of that was provided prior to the resolution of this BBB submission.

      In JUNE I purchased uniforms from Dennis Uniforms for my granddaughter to wear to school as there is NO WHERE ELSE to purchase the uniforms from and there is NO OTHER uniforms that my granddaughter can wear to attend this catholic school and I have called weekly and emailed and the CANNOT tell me when I will receive my order. My granddaughter NEEDS these bib uniforms ASAP!!!

      Returned merchandise was received on 8/28 and 9/8. Email states, Please allow for up to 5 business days for our team to review and process your return before your resolution is issued. Ive received no updates and the only response is things are taking longer with no indication when refunds will be issued.

      Ordered uniforms for the beginning of school year and they have not been delivered. Have reached out multiple times and they are aweful at following up. I want them to deliver the clothes I have already paid for. This is unacceptable. I would like to also ask for a $100 credit for the horrible way they have treated their customers.

      Transaction date- June 2, 2024. Website states that any out of stock items ship in 2-4 weeks. Items have not shipped, are not available in the store, and no date was offered by customer service when the item will be back in stock. Shipping fee was refunded, but our school requires these uniform items and we are not able to obtain them 3 months later.

      Hello, 

      This case has not be resolved and I would like to reopen my case. 

      While the company apologized, they also defended their poor business model.  I opted to cancel my order and the company now will only refund me with a gift card (that I originally used to pay), but will not refund me first with the cash I also used to pay.  I asked to receive a call back from a supervisor and the customer service representative said I would hear back in ***** hours.  It is a week later and I have not had anyone contact me.

The order was paid with $160 in gift card funds, and $14.03 onto a credit card. Since we refunded $11.72 to your credit card on 8/19 to reimburse your shipping fee, there was not enough of a remaining balance to refund the sweatpants.

      July 18th, 2024 July 22nd, 2024 Order number 13936761000/14070171000 Uniforms in a 2-3 time frame I still have not received my full order.I have reached out to the customer service team since Aug the 14th attached the emails back and forth and not once have they has a solution. It wasn't till today 9/6/24 when they said they could finally ship a belt that was ordered on the 18th that was suppose to have a 2-3 week delivery time. I also noticed that I am not the only one they have scored an F with the better business bureau and there have been multiple complaints about this business. They after a certain threshold of time they should give customers a refund on the order because quite frankly a 2 month turn around time for uniforms is beyond ridiculous, and I don't understand how they are able to stay in business. And now they are doing PRE SALES with a 2-3 week turn around time which is a complete lie, my stuff has taken way longer then that and they were not on pre sale. they are lying to the customers.

The belt was marked as shipped within the warehouse application on July 31st by the local store. We are not sure what happened to that shipment but are pleased to see that the agent who assisted you on September 6th provided a replacement for that belt which is shipping today via **** tracking number 9400136109687888249957.

      Order *********** placed July 22nd, was also shipped across multiple packages delivered between July 24th and July 29th. You have 2 items outstanding, both have experienced an unforeseen delay and have not arrived from the manufacturer. The same agent who assisted you with the replacement belt provided a refund for your shipping fees and a 10% code for your future order in light of this delay. 

      We are in communication with our vendors to secure delayed stock as quickly as possible and we keep our School Administrators up to date on all backorder concerns that impact their students.

      My most recent email to Dennis Uniform:Good afternoon,I am contacting you for the 4th time, regarding the uniform items I ordered on June 3 that we have still not received as of this morning September 3. Three months have passed. Your *************************** said I would be getting a call back on August 21 regarding the school uniform. I followed up with another member on August 30 who also stated that this matter would be escalated to admin and I still have not received a call back. I have been waiting for a call back since August 21 and it is September 3. At this point, I have ordered uniforms from another company,so I believe it is fair to cancel this order and provide me with two larger sizes, size 12, so she can wear them next year. If you believe this inconvenience (not shipping the uniform when purchased in full, having her in last years uniform for over and month, not not responding to the two phone calls I placed) warrants it, I would like these two uniforms to be comped and my money returned. This frustration comes after last years lack of sending an order when I ordered uniform pants in August and you refunded my money in October with not pants delivered. I will also been contacting Great Hearts leadership to let them know the frustrations we are having since I was referred to your company by them directly *************************

      I placed an order for uniforms on July 18, 2024 at the *****, ******* store. I was told by the Dennis Uniform employee shipping takes 2 to 3 weeks.Order has not arrived. School started on August *******.I contacted Dennis Uniform customer service via email on August 29, 2024 and provided all the information they requested on their inquiry form.I received a response that said they are unable to provide ANY information about the order placed 45 days ago. How is that possible? Are they conducting business in the year 2024 or 1924?

      I am rejecting this response because:

      There is still part of my order I have not received. Dennis Uniform blamed their OWN vendors for the delay and still cannot provide a delivery date . (8 weeks after I ordered)

       

      I order a green polo shirt and a canvas belt, not plutonium to make a Time Machine. It should not take 8 weeks.

      They take orders and make empty promises.

      We purchased clothes on 7/7/2024 to get it in by 9/4/2024 when school starts. We have received deliveries bit by bit. Though, 4 items are "preparing for shipping" according to their order update. I called multiple times over the past weeks.2 weeks ago I complained and asked for an escalation contact. I was supposed to be called back within 48 hours.I called a few more times, after 1 week (you're #4, they're behind but you should receive a call back soon), the following Monday (they are still behind but call you back soon, items are still out out of stock and won't be there on time, schools have been notified), today (one shirt doesn't get in by January, most of the others now say somewhat September). They would escalate my request but it may take another week.We spent $500, to order everything 2 months ahead of time and the missing items still show "preparing for shipping" while they're out of stock. Nobody from escalation team called us back, we probably need to buy additional items to compensate. It's cold in the building, too cold for just a shirt. The behavoir of DENNIS is misleading because the status is wrong and indicates that we don't have to take any actions. Escalations doesn't care about customers, or their services is that bad that even after 2 weeks we have not heard back. What is the solution to cover additional costs?
