      My truck had broke down while I was driving on the highway so I had it towed to the closest shop, unfortunately it was Pep Boys in ***************. They first told me it was my alternator, battery, and starter. I had also got my father involved since this has never happened to my truck and it was his previously, they then said they would just call my father because they didnt want to call too many people. They did a diagnostic on my truck, which I got copies of everything because after the repaired the problem my truck still didnt start. Not only did they misdiagnose my truck but they refused to give me my truck back until the outrageous bill got paid. While I was waiting I noticed my personal effects had been moved around and I had asked why I didnt get a call and the store manager said she called and I pulled up my call log showing no one called me to let me know they had to move my things. I went inside the shop to put my things back and the mechanic in the shop was extremely rude to me. I will admit I had lost my temper with the mechanic and store manager and told them that I will never return to their location. I hold true to that and I also will never go to another Pep Boys again after being disrespected. After they finally released my truck to me which took 4 hours since I tried to dispute the charges of their so called work I then asked for all copies of paperwork that related to my truck and the manager reluctantly gave them to me.

      I received an email 6/19 for a FREE A/C check. i made an appointment, but when I arrived they said it was only "TO TURN ON THE A/C IN MY VEHICLE and see if it was working. WOW.I wasted my time and fuel for a Misleading con from PEPBOYS.When I called what I thought was a Corporate phone # . I got transferred to their regular customer ********************** #.

      Got a/c serviced. Still didnt work. Called for an appointment. Said bring it in next day at open. Told them needed it back by 3 whether it was done or not and dropped car off at 7 at open. Called at 1p, wasnt started. Called at 3 wasn't started said it was first come first serve but i dropped off at 7a at open(noone else was there). called again at 6p, no answer. Store closed at 7p and never got car back or an update or call back about it. Now i don't have a ride to get it and cant get to work tomorrow. Took it back to **** because they originally serviced the prevalent problem but could have taken it somewhere else and had it done on time or at least had communication.

      I took my car in problem with a/c I ask were there charge I was told no free inspection. Upon receiving my car I was charge $399. Car was cold for eight hours) number one. I ask for diagnose never confirmed the problem or how much it would cost. Upon returning my vehicle I was told I needed a compressor. This should have been found in the initial diagnose or at least inform me that if needed to look farther for recharge and freon we would need charge you $399 this was not confirmed.

      (*************) location ********************************************************. The staff are very unprofessional. I made an appointment Friday June 7th 1:00p online and made a back appt for 2:30p I made it there before 2p and was set to get an inspection. I sat at pep boys for 3hrs waiting on the mechanic who seem to play in the garage and not do his work when it come to getting cars finish. I was told I needed a muffler the lady who was at the register looked up a muffler she said it will be almost $500 for a muffler I know thats a lie I have several cars and trucks the vehicle I have taken to them was a commercial vehicle cargo **** ***. However the lady said I can order the piece else where which I ordered from auto zone next to pep boys. They order the muffler for me and it was delivered early Saturday morning to the pep boys shop. I called Saturday asking what time can I pick my *** up they told me later that day but no call back. Called back early morning Saturday. I was told by the guy the *** was started but the mechanic also been working on cars that came after mine which I weft the since Friday. Saturday I was told he was to busy he will try to get the *** fixed Saturday Sunday come around no communication they totally lied about the *** being worked on Monday after work I walk into the location my muffler is behind the dest I explained to the guy how upset I was because I need my *** I have a business. He said he would call as soon I havent got a call 6:30p I Called again no answer they turned the phones off. They want me to pay $290 but delayed me from being able to run my business Im very upset I think this company was unprofessional I was speaking to the mechanic he turned his head no eye contact or anything they all went into the the garage and laughed in there why my *** ***** finished he told me it will be done today Im so upset its unfair for them to keep lying to me about my *** staff if unprofessional I will never use this company

      I went in on 6/5 to purchase 4 new tires. As I was being checked in by a brand new employee, the employee that was assisting her get me checked in told her the first thing to do is add protection and to ALWAYS add protection. I wont go into detail the nightmare it took to get me rung up and on my way that took almost an hour, but I will say that the next morning I went to look over my bill and saw that the protection that was added without my permission was a protection warranty I was standing right there I never Asked about this never had explained or anything. My concern is I specifically heard her say to always add protection, and I wonder how many people have had protection warranties at it without their knowledge upon exiting the establishment after going into have the protection warranty refunded a Any technician stopped and asked me what happened. His name is *****. he told me that he couldnt count how many times people have come in and said that that same employee by the name of ****** has added protection to their bill and they didnt ask for it. This seems to be common practice..

      I purchased tires after shopping. The manager told me that my military discount would be handled by Pep Boys headquarters and my charge would reflect it on the credit card. Their website says a military discount is provided. After talking to the manager again, he told me Pep Boys would not give a military discount on tire purchases because there was not enough profit on tire sales to do so.In addition, my car rode terrible after purchasing Continental Pure Contact tires. After two complaints they told me the car would not balance tires as the rims were warped. I tool the car to Wheels Fix It and they said the rims were not warped. They balanced to the tires and now my car rides great.I am done doing business there after over 25 years. This business has deteriorated beyond belief I believe they are on there way out of business.

      Stay away from this store terrible customer **********************. ******* and the manager are rude and unprofessional. Bought tires and wanted to take advantage of a buy 3 get one free deal they were running. They only had 3 in stock and I needed tires on the front to replace a bubble tire. He would not honor the deal because he claimed he couldnt do a split payment on two different days. The manager was so rude to my daughter. He to this date has not got the needed matching rare tires in stock. He way overcharged for the set he put on. Stay clear of this store.

      Price gauging Awful incomplete service! This store has had my 2016 Kia ******** for over thirty days to repair a starter and engine work and they still haven't completed the repairs. I call the store for updates and the staff members hang up the phone on me! I have warranty coverage on the car and the store keeps adding additional time to the repairs as well as new things to repair just to receive extra money.
