I changed my five-star review to 1. I wish I could go lower as this place should be closed down. All of the employees there will lie to your face with the biggest of smiles. I came into issues with my car on December 27th. I have taken my car to them on the same day. The clerk named Kendra was working that day and decided to put down v4 instead of v6 causing a huge delay for my car parts to arrive. Every day since December 27th I had to call them. They never called me and every time I called it was a new excuse. The mechanic left, the mechanic had to go to the hospital, and THEN finally told me that Kendra messed up on the order. I said all is fine as long as I get a discount. Now mind you I picked up my car TODAY, January 23rd. They had my car for 28 days. At first, the cost was $1200. Then it was $1100, and $990 (this is a "10% discount") so I told them that I've been using nothing but lyfts because they would make up an excuse every day I had called and claiming that my car would be available every Wednesdays and Fridays. (That's why I didn't get a rental.) So I called customer service who then called Montlimar Pep Boys and told me that the District Manager(Erik) would call me. Erik did call and told me that all I had to pay for was the parts and NO LABOR FEE. Well, Kendra gave me my receipt and it says that I owe $854.12 INCLUDING a $227.99 labor fee. I told them over the phone what the DM Erik had told me and even attempted to call Erik and guess who didn't answer the phone? Also, they put my car parts( the parts covering the bottom portion of the glove department and the part below the brake and acceleration) in the trunk of my car with oil, dirt, and leaves touching my back seats. Lez also didn't do anything except give me broken promises that I would get my car within the week that I had last spoken to him. DO NOT GO TO THIS PEP BOYS!!!! Overpriced and WILL lie to you!

I been getting my vehicles serviced for many years from pep boys and I really didnt experience any issues until the past year and a half with the quality of service. I have two vehicles I take there which are the same make but different model. Long story short they were putting wrong parts on the wrong model of car and my one vehicle is in bad condition now. Im highly dissapointed and upset. So thousands of dollars later, I was the one who discovered this could of been the issue on my own instead of them. Weeks later and my car issue hasnt been resolved.

I waited for 5 hours, was charged 109, and didn't get any resolution. My disappointment stems from the lack of service at that place – no drinks provided, and insufficient technical support. In such situations, better service would involve informing customers about the current shortage of staff, providing an estimate of how long they might have to wait for service (in hours), and letting them decide whether to proceed with the service or not. Instead of passing the problem onto the customers, after waiting for 5 hours, I was charged 109 and told that the place couldn't provide service. Who would feel comfortable in such a situation? Your staff shortage is not the customer's problem, and the lack of technical support is not the customer's problem either. After making me wait for 4 hours without resolving the issue, it's audacious to charge for the service. This place is truly unbelievable.

Completely unprofessional. Took my car to the front driver side tire checked for slow leak then if I needed an oil change to do so then. Received the inspection report at a.m. the next morning nothing about the slow leak in the tires but that my oil lid was leaking. Waited till about 3 PM and had heard nothing so decided to call the store and was answered by someone who was extremely confused, and then just said oh yeah, your car is ready. No one called to discuss repairs to my car. They just did an oil change and they never called me to tell me it was ready. When I got out there, I asked about the tires. They looked at me like I was crazy, and then about the lid and then no one called me. After some back-and-forth I was told that I had to leave my car for another couple of hours while they fix the oil lid came back picked up my car and decided to never go back to that location tried the Pep Boys on military in Lake Worth and that wasn’t even worse experience left a review there too. Pepboys should be ashamed of themselves.

Worst place to take your car. I dropped my car off for break lights that wouldn’t go off. Left with a horn that won’t work and they refuse to not only see at a time that works for me but are telling me that I would have to pay for it. This is not a coincidence and Jessica the manager is extremely rude and unprofessional!

I took my vehicle to get seen and left with my whole engine falling out while driving with my children in the car and nobody tried to resolve the issue they wanted to charge me for their repair mess up and towing fees. I would never think of a major company to do things like that. Because of their wrong doing’s now I’m without a vehicle.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Pep boys double charged my debit card BEFORE they even started working on my car. They put a hold on my debit card for over $3000 and they refuse to credit the money back or give me any type of explanation of why they won't refund my card. My bank account have been negative for over 10 days because of this company. They are crooks.

So after being told they can't fix my truck because it's a press fit I limp my truck back home (keep in mind I live 1 hour and 45 min away normal driving). I go to change my bearing and I have a none press fit carrier bearing. It's 7 bolts that's it. So the technicians there that told me they couldn't do it because it's a press fit must not be as knowledgeable as they claim to be. Very disappointed in the lack of effort to help me get home.

      Dishonest Management - stay away!!!

I have been visiting this pepboys location for the last 10 years for tire servicing and oil change.

The last store manager, Scott, has been the reason why I keep coming back. He was honest and looked out for my interest.

However, my last few visits have been extremely frustrating and disappointing.

Recently, I brought my puntured tire to be fixed, and it was under road hazard warrenty. The store manager refused to fix the tire giving reasons such as the puntured location is not fixible and the tire is too old with hairline cracks.

I was frustrated and upset as I know this can be fixed. I left the shop for another Pepboy location a few blocks away.

The service technician at the other location looked at the punctured tire and immediately said this was absolutely repairable.

After this experience, I know I should never return to Pepboy shop.

From here on, I am better off getting my tire servcing from Costco and oil change at Walmark.
