      Originally took my car in the Pep Boys on July 7 because of a mechanical problem the previous mechanic replaced parts that were showing up as codes on his diagnostic machine. However, he could not pin it down, and he put his best effort into it. The problem was after I told it to Pep Boys, and I informed them what the mechanic head did, and the parts that were already included the original codes for VVT sensors that were already replaced. In fact the mass airflow‘s sensor was also brand new so they diagnose the engine and the problem was still coming up as before. My problem is they charged me over the market value price of its competitors for sensors that were moderately average price so, for example, my mass airflow sensor was $100 at Nappa however, they charge me $256 for the same part that was new old is 72 hours before they change the oil in the car. Why would you change the oil if the car is malfunctioning and the boiler was already changed in the car two weeks prior, all this was informed by me, so it did not make any sense to do the same job twice and charge the extra money so that they decide the engine is no good but on the original diagnostic it also said recommend it throttlebody they never checked the throttlebody. in fact, he said it’s not true, and I explained him that is your machine you have checked everything else out that you did not need to check out but the one thing you should’ve checked was the throttlebody now we go back-and-forth and they refuse to call me back. In the meantime my car has been sitting here not being worked on and they want to charge me for a job that was already done the manager, Bert steps on the scene in the middle of this, and has no idea of the conversation that was Had in the beginning I do not want to pay for something that was already done These guys will scam you and if you check the Google webpage on the reviews, they have many complaints on this issue I have tried calling corporate, but no answer from corporate

      I wouldn’t recommend this location. The General Manager, Pierre, did not provide good customer service. Several associates communicated different things to me. Initially, I was told by Pierre, that the diagnostics fee would be $50 and would go towards the service for my car. Once I got to the location, the diagnostics fee became $110. My car went through a diagnostics. The company ordered the parts I needed. I received an ETA of 1-2 days. After 1-2 days, the parts were now on back order for a month with no other option. I was told I would receive a refund by two supervisors. They assured me that they would refund me after they received cash in their drawer for the day. Finally, the General Manager Pierre called me back to let me know he doesn’t need my $110, but I will not be getting it back. They are uncoordinated and unprofessional. This place needs new management.

      I went to PepBoys in Raynham mass for an oil change. While there they told me my car was unsafe to drive cause the brakes are metal to metal . I drive a 2019 Nissan Rogue with 30000 miles on it . I refused the work the service manager told me not responsible if I take the vehicle. He wrote on quote that I refused work. I took my car to another garage and they found nothing wrong with them. Also told me I had another 10000 miles at least left. Took pics of pads also. I contacted their corporate office with work order and pics they told me that an area representative would contact me. Never has. I contacted corporate twice and no representative ever contacted me. Also i was charged 95 for oil change which took 2-1/2 hrs to do even though I had appointment

      Worst place ever!!!!! Trying to get my tire fixed before I left to go on vacation told me in would take 3 hours which was ok but then after 3.5 hours called to check on it! Mine was about to go on the lift be another hour ok so I showed up 5.5 hours from time I dropped it off and the girl gives me my keys tells me I’m good to go! Something didn’t sit right with me so I asked the techs as I walked to my car which one fixed my tire and no one did!!!! So the lady lied to me three times and tried to send me on vacation with a messed up tire!!! Thank goodness I asked them so I would end up on the side of the road!!!

      Went to get my car (by tow like they asked) and they wouldn't give me the keys. I called the cops who said they were illegally holding my keys as I had already paid for my work.. they said my brakes were too bad to drive on and it would be 1200 dollars. They wouldn't even listen to what the cops had told me about them having to give me my keys. I didn't call the cops down and that was my fault.
      I just didn't want to be treated like a liar. I had a tow coming why couldn't he believe me.

      Then the kid behind the counter wouldn't stop complaining about how he is in college and all his money goes to that. As if everyone can afford college

      I ended up sending my aunt in with the tow driver to get the keys because I was fuming mad. I wasn't going to drive but they couldn't believe me. And one of them rubbed his ability to go to college in my face. The whole stinking time

      I brought my car in on a Thursday to get a hole plugged in tire. Drove car home and sat in driveway. Got in car on Monday and had 21 psi In tire. Filled at wawa took back over to pep boys. They put in soap solution and found nothing (they claim). Told me to bring back next day of low. And they over filled tire to 43 psi instead of 33. Next day had 27 psi… took back to pep boys. They found another hole the girl told me no nail or anything prob missed on Monday. They plugged that and then charged me again for nothing. I feel discriminated against and I am also a handicapped person so I also take this as bias and discriminatory practices. I will lodge a complain formally w headquarters and might take legal action so I hope it was worth double charging me.

      I spoke to Ricardo twice in the phone to replace my front windshield wiper motors was told $300 I get there on Monday July 17th at 8;00 am and I’m told by Myron it will be $1,000 totally unethical and fraudulent business practices I already contacted pep boys corporate offices as well as yelp I’ll never do business with these scam artists ever again !

      Said they fixed something I had already paid to be fixed at another location (same company) but neither place did the repair correctly. I've already paid them but someone else ended up doing the repair.

      Ask that my suspension be checked October 2022., steering wheel Noisy..
      When they gave me my car back it was undrivable. They replaced the struts With the cheapest parts they could find, Confirmed by Lexus dealer The car never drove straight again. Took it back 5 times
