      Hey PePBoys in Baytown tx.
      Will rip customers off by damaging parts on customers vehicle, and say it was that way already, when most
      c u s t o m e r s know their vehicle.

      Its strange how some customer reviews have good and most customers are experiencing damaging service in some way.

      We only went to purchase tires. We didn't authorize PepBoys to go under the hood taking parts off to check and then they don't put the part back on right.
      The main issues:
      PepBoys took clamps that goes on the air filter, stripped the stud and the lug. PepBoys put a nut on that causes wear on the rims where the lug don't fit correctly and doesn't match.

      PepBoys drove the vehicle into their shop and put down the window on the driver side.
      Then when PepBoys put the window UP it came off track.

      PepBoys ignoring the issues and placed me in a bad position.

      The employees used profane language towards me a customer and refused to wash the blue off the tires. I had to wash it off in their shop.
      Currently PepBoys ignoring
      Every attempt to contact them.

      At this point I am asking for corporate division to give input to remedy the situation.
      I'm sorry I went to PepBoys for tires.etc.

      Took it in for an oil leak and paid 500 dollars. The next day the car overheated (never had a problem with the radiator or the car never overheated before). Took it back now they are saying other things need to be done. New radiator etc. Do not go to this place!

      I have been dealing with PepBoys in Mesa, AZ on N Higley Rd for the last month now and still am not getting anywhere. I have had to have a new engine installed via my car warranty and PepBoys has had the new engine for over 2.5 weeks and they still haven't started the work. Everytime I call to get an update I can't some excuse as to why they haven't started the work. I need my car back cause I am paying on a rental car out of my pocket cause I only get reimbursed 400 dollars from my warranty company and I am already at 1300 dollars and now have to extend the rental car even longer which is more money out of my pocket.

      Pep Boys in Winchester VA tries to sale you things you don’t need. I took my car for an inspection and they said it would take$1,900 worth of repairs to pass including 4 new tires, brakes and rotors in front and rear. I took the car to another garage and they passed it with no repairs. Rip iff scam pure and simple.

      Took my car into the Pep Boys in Tyler TX, on 5/31/2022 for engine repair, ordered a new engine, had to pay 4500.00 up front for the engine to be ordered. They told me I would take about 4 weeks, OK. After the fourth week I started calling to check, another week, and another week etc. During this rims and tires stolen, right from the parking lot. My son went to the store and noticed that they were gone at 12 noon, mind you the store opens at 8 am, but NO ONE NOTICED A CAR SITTING ON ROTORS, for four hours while they were working. Engine comes in on 6/15/2022. Car still sits there, they're waiting for an open bay. On 7/7/2022 they finally get it into a bay, after I have to take old rims and tires. Then on the 12th, I call and they say the engine is the wrong one. YOU HAVE A ENGINE FOR A MONTH AND DOESN'T KNOW IT'S NOT THE RIGHT ONE. SMH!!! The car is supposedly being worked on now, but still being told in 2 days, in a week, in 2 days. Lord have mercy. Talked with supervisor, store manager, filed claim with customer service, when will it end. It's ridiculous. Resolution!!!

      Worse experience with tires ever! I had a flat tire on rt. 73 in Berlin NJ in March of 2022. Because I have staggered tires I had my 2014 Ford Mustang towed to the Berlin Pep Boys on Rt. 73 which was only a mile down the road. I talk to a guy named TC or AC who runs the tire service and I put on four Michelin tires. Few days later I pick up my car and pay. When I get home there is a huge mess of glue all over each tire and the weigh papers are still in the rims. I notice the tpms light won’t go off, I call and they say the technician wasn’t there when it was fixed so bring it back in and they’ll reset it. I get angry and complain about the mess and the situation then bring car to ford dealer and they fix it. TC said he would refund some of the money- so I bring car back in and Pep Boys refunds some money and checks wheels for balance. After few weeks I notice a slight wobble so I bring car to local tire shop and they say passenger side had 2.5 ounces of weight when it only needed .5. Also the wheel lock is missing. So Pep Boys left mess on tires, couldn’t initially set the tpms, messed up the weights and then lost the wheel lock. Absolutely a horrible experience! Incompetence isn’t even close to summarize them.

      Brought in my Mazda to the dealership to get the A/C system repaired. Left my car with them for over a week. they charged me 1900 dollars for a brand new A/C system: all new parts, everything. after having my car back for a week it is blowing HOT air. It took a lot to not instantly rage at this "repair." I called them and they told me to take it to another pep boys for a "a/c recharge" for the time being until they could see me again. I ended up taking it to the pep boys in Pensacola off mobile highway, and told the manager what they TOLD ME TO DO. she instantly coped an attitude and told me "you don't know what you're talking about." Very disrespectful and low quality store in Pensacola: definitely don't waste your time there, please trust me. As for the Niceville store, the people there are actually really professional and nice, but the quality of service is quite lacking, which sadly is probably the most important thing to me. I'm trying to give them the opportunity to resolve the situation but if they do not get my BRAND NEW A/C SYSTEM blowing cold air as was the original agreement, then just do not ever use a pep boys EVER. they will 'repair chain' you, meaning having you come in for the same repairs over and over even though that is illegal in the state of Florida.

      Pepboys(Scottsdale, Arizona) did a bad job for pre-buying inspection of Car, which they claim that they perform 120 points inspection. Based on their inspection report, I bought the vehicle and then it realised that it had a sever problem, which was missed by them. Now they are not taking the ownership and accountability of it.
      I raised a Case# 82845, I have not got any response yet for the past two weeks. Its really very bad and unprofessional on pepboys's part.   I used to have high regards for pepboys, but the image is tarnished now after this bitter experience.

      I visited Pep Boys at 10894 67th Ave, Glendale, Az a few days ago. I brought my Dodge Durango here for a diagnosis after Firestone messed her up.
      I spoke to a Gentleman by the name of Tim whom by the way is so empathetic, professional and greeted my hubby and me with a big smile he is such a friendly person. Kent was the Gentleman that actually told me what my truck needed 1st, and it was a couple of hundred dollars more that I needed on my C.C. so I placed a call to them and they honored more funds on it, thank u. This is the 3rd x I visit this location I will be returning. I don't remember the 3rd Gentleman's name but all 3 guy's here are awesome!...Thank u Pep Boys!!!
      I forgot to mention they did fix one of the problems Firestone couldn't! I now have to setup another appointment to see what else Firestone messed up so Pep Boys could fix!!!
