  Repeatedly asking for monies that had already been paid for previous year taxes. Can't reach a real person, tried waiting for over 2 hours and 14 minutes until I finally gave up. Every year I've had to request a change to my "privilege to work" amount to read correctly.

  My husband and I received delinquency letters for the year 2021 per capita tax. We moved in October of 2021. The tax was paid but for some reason the tax collector did not have this information. The woman I spoke with told me to disregard the letters and that 2021 was paid in full, which I already knew. Today I get a certified letter from Berkheimer for my husband that they are going to garnish his wages on the taxes we already paid. I have been on hold for a half of an hour. This is ridiculous. These people who are responsible for accepting tax money are incompetent. I have had trouble with them before but nothing like this. Unbelievable.

  Terrible service!!Can't get ahold of any actual humans,super long wait on phone ,3% charge for online payments,Have two properties sent two checks,two stubs,1 envelope,1 check cashed, 1 did not,They tell me to send another check they have no idea?????Thanks for the help!!
  Personal info on check ,,,like routing # and check account # WTF !!!
  Very disappointed,not sure how they are in charge of something as important as taxes.
  Obviously they dont have the capacitity for two transactions at once ,did my check get thrown in trash??????????????????????????

  The Berkheimer web site is totally confusing and almost impossible to sign onto. Instead od being able to log in and see all payments made by an individual, along with the type of tax, you have to guess at the tax category and try to sign in there. Additionally I recently received a garnishment letter with bogus late charges from Berkheimer for 2021 taxes and when my husband called to question the fees, he spoke with Melanie who said we were up to date with our payments and that something must have "gotten crossed in the mail." Not a very believable story! No wonder they are not BBB accredited! Why does the state of PA entrust them as tax collectors?

  FRAUDULENT COMPANY!!!!! There is absolutely nothing this company does that is legit. They all belong in jail.

  My wages are garnished for my husbands tax bill. A certified letter came to the house no one is home obviously we all work and was sent back to the post office. So technically I never received anything. Gave berkheimer all the information they needed via email (you can never speak to a real person) and I told they forwarded my information to the appropriate department for processing. The website is horrible.
