Every year some collection agency contracts me about a debt. I am disabled and all my bills are accounted for. My identity has been compromised since 2005, and I just stopped a loan in my name by someone who lives in ********. Please cease and desist ******************.Business Response

I am writing in response to correspondence I received from you bearing the date December 4, 2024 regarding an alleged account with an alleged reference number of ***********, your information is incorrect and therefore, I as the consumer dispute this debt and demand that you, the debt collector, provide validation under this section of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. This is not my debt, and the amount is wrong. I am requesting validation of this alleged debt. If you do not provide full validation of this alleged debt, I will have no choice but to file suit against AR Resources for violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices ********, to be clear, this shall serve as your one and only written notice that you do not have my consent to communicate with me, the consumer, in connection with the collection of any debt at any time. There is no convenient time for you to call me. Further, I am not allowed to receive phone calls at work. I receive daily calls from this company regarding a supposed "payday loan debt" I owe. I tried to reach out to the company via phone, however I was hung up on multiple times while trying to get details about their calls. I have requested written documentation of the supposed debt, but have never received any communication via mail. They keep calling 7 days a week, several times a day. Telling me I owe a debit, but they will not give me any information about debt. I have asked the caller for information. I am filing this complaint against Ar Resources *** for reporting inaccurate or derogatory information on my credit report, which is a violation of my rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). According to 15 *** 1611, it is unlawful to knowingly and willfully furnish false information regarding a consumer's credit report. The derogatory account on my credit report is inaccurate and does not reflect my current credit situation.Moreover, under Section 617 of the ****, consumers have the right to dispute inaccurate information and expect timely removal or correction of this information by the reporting agency. On 9/10/2024, I called back and the person who answered refused to give the address of the business, any information required under the The Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. 1681, and would hang up on me when I would ask for a mailing address or original creditor. After being hung up on, I called back and the person who answered shouted a social security number, date of birth, and drivers license number before I even had a chance to give them my name. Due to the violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, any supposed debt is null and I will be following up with my attorney. I have asked them repeatedly to stop calling me and they continue to send me robo calls. If this continues, I will file a harassment suit as well in addition to the discharging of any claimed debt which I completely dispute.Business Response
