I started service with aqua in December of 23 and told them no one would be present for 2 months they were to turn the water on do a leak check... If any issues, leaks.. water would not be turned on by technician.... I get December and January's bill at an outstanding rate of $60 per month... I advised aqua that water meter was turning even though no water on in the house or leaking... They send a technician back out to verify if the meter is bad and find that the water pressure is 90 + psi.... I asked the technician to please take a picture to show his boss and he did without any issues....This extreme high pressure is causing lines to break on roadside as well as compromising all appliances that customers have voiding warranties due to high pressure and costing customers for appliance replacement... water heaters, dishwashers, ice makers, washing machines...etc.... I filed a complaint with the utilities commission based on extreme high pressure.... After costing more than $1,500 to dig the main line up from the meter to the house and finding the leak at the meter basin where it was tied into my supply line... I filed a reimbursement form for the repair costs and was told I would need to wait 3 months before they would have a conclusion if reimbursement was going to be given..... Fast forward we are now over 4 months and I contacted aqua and was told this matter was concluded and no reimbursement.... Within a week after that I received a letter from aqua wanting the same information that I had already given them when I filed the reimbursement form.... Still no reimbursement but all of this waiting time and information given???I concluded service with aqua however I'm still getting billed with no final bill or reimbursement for deposit given? When you reach out to aqua regarding this matter notes indicate technician came out to property and all water pressure was standard. Complete lies .I would have not contacted the utility commission if so... I have pics as wel

Unfair business. I have wastewater service that costs me $95 per month, and it is a flat charge cost, where I have $65 for my water usage charge from another company. How the hack I paid more on wastewater charge than actual usage of the water?

There was a boil alert for Kankakee county in Illinois on January 28 and 29th, 2024 due to l the overflow of the cane rubber.. It is now February 3, 2024 and black slimy particles, and the smell of fish is still in the water. Aqua Illinois has no regard for the health of their customers. I live in Manteno, Il and we pay a good amount toward water bills.

After receiving an alert from Aqua Illinois to boil water on Jan 28, 29, 2024 due to the severe bacteria created by the Kankakee river, the water still smells fishy and black particles are in the water as of Feb 3. The boil water ended Jan 30th. Aqua water Illinois is a terrible company and are not looking out for the health of the residents of Manteno, Il and surrounding communities.

Aqua came unannounced and broke my valve when trying to replace the meter. I had to replace it at my own expense. They are pieces of shit. If I could give zero stars I would.

They stole $500 from me. Customer service is incompetent & ignorant as they were 100% unhelpful in resolving this issue. When I asked for a supervisor I was told “we don’t have one in house at all times” absurd. It has been 3 days and I have yet to get a response from a supervisor but was told to just dispute the charge with my bank. This company is as unprofessional as they come and because PA monopolized Water, they know they don’t have to change. If PA residents had a choice of water supplier, this company would be out of business in a matter of days.

I don't know legally how they can do the things they do to customers and still be allowed to operate. I've got a story alright. Ongoing. Like their 2k billing error they slapped on my bill from LAST YEARS TOTAL and expect me to pay it RIGHT NOW, though NOT my fault or wrongdoing of any kind and now I'm supposed to pay $400 a month the next 6 months PLUS current charges with a 35% price increase in hike. And our whole neighborhood is stuck with them cause they have done no updating at all to the point we can even hook up to County Water cause it's over a million in necessary updates to get it to a status where e can hook up to county water. Cause THEY never did any of the necessary updating. I'm now paying over 400 dollars a month, almost 10x the cost, because of their billing issue or error.. supposedly, after a covid credit they gave then took back, claiming the state took it back? They credited it from the state between a year to a year and a half ago! This makes no sense. Something is foul. Not just the water that SMELLS, comes out brown, and I'm not drinking it and neither is my family! So I've got to BUY bottled water to drink and cook with, on top of paying over 400 a month for disgusting water, a system that isn't even up to CODE that they allowed to go into that state of disrepair for the entire neighborhood, leaving them now as our only option and that 35% increase is for them supposedly finally doing "upgrades" that should have been covered in past service charges and STILL hasn't been performed! And the way they treat and talk to you is another matter all itself. I'm seriously not sure how they've not been sued by communities or how they are legally still operating at all. Beyond fed tf up!!!

NC in my opinion needs to step in and do something about Aquas business practices! The amount they charge for water and sewage is ridiculous I’ve lived in NC my whole life and have never paid this much for water!! At one time there were four people living in the house and my bill was 50, 60 bucks . Me and my wife moved to Clayton a couple of years ago and now get water from Aqua and it’s never been under a 100 bucks for just two people . Looking at the bill it's more about fees than actual water consumption it would be nice if someone actually stepped in on behalf of customers to find out what kind of shady business practices this company is doing!!
