      I purchased a retractable ceiling fan with a light on their website. The total was approximately 90.00 with the fees and 5.00 I paid for it to be transferred.
      The listing states the item is an open box and displays 3 pictures. 1 new, 1 of the actual light part and 1 closed box.
      It also says the original price was 259.99 (it’s actually 199.99)
      The have several policies that are covered in the terms and conditions. I’m aware that you take a chance when bidding in an auction item but you depend on the description and the pictures. When I opened the item the first thing I notice is the white plastic light part is broken. This should have been listed in the description. I emailed customer service and was sent a copy of there terms and conditions and told I could goto the actual warehouse and talk to a manager. So I drove the 30 minutes to attempt to resolve the issue. The manager was not helpful at all. She actually agreed and said that she would have noted in the description that it was cracked and broken but that I can’t expect the people who are listing the items to do it every time. She claimed it was still useable and covered under their open box policy. Would you hang a busted light in your home? With the amount of complaints filed for these same issues why isn’t anything being done? I fill they are misleading people and a have a policy to cover there you know what.

      I had purchased over $400 worth of merchandise from this company via auction at mac.bid . Several items were not as described at all (labeled 'open box' but were clearly broken yet they had it wrapped in bubble wrap so you couldnt see it and a blanket which in all the pictures and the listing was said to be 'purple' but was actually brown). When i went to pick up the items more than half of them were not in the location marked and i was told they were moved. i was told not to worry about it that they would find my items and allow me to pick them up next business day (Monday). I went on Monday and the manager of the location told me i was lying to him, that no one would tell me they would find my items without talking to him. He called me a liar many many times and said "im not implicitly calling you a liar". Ultimately he refused to help me and i contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge as it was theft - i had purchased items which they did not have in stock and they refused to provide to me. Eventually his supervisor helped me and was able to locate my items for me to come in now a third time. Once i received my items i canceled my dispute with the credit card company.

      Since then i have purchased multiple items which are awaiting pickup worth hundreds of dollars but now my account is suspended due to "fraud" because of a chargeback that was canceled. I am not allowed to check in to get my items because i am locked out of the account. I have traveled many miles to get here and wasted over two hours of time to drive here and not be provided my items that are already paid for by me.

      They would not return my money and did not get my bid order . I tried to hold with no success. I left a negative review online and was blocked and could not get my other items transferred and was only refunded for that . I was told through a text I was blocked it was just a one star review . I am out $78 from this terrible company. The manager was so mean & embarrassed me when asking up the $78 .

      This website is predatory. While the auctions are legitimate, they habitually lie about the prices of auctions. The main issue is that is sky rockets prices and the business gets a percentage cut of the sale. Needless to say, you lie about the value of the item, they charge more, and make more. They also allow 'pre-bidding' to inflate prices even more. While the goods and services provided help many people, unfortunately the service is predatory. Attached is 3 images of one item listed and how horrifically over priced it is. They are selling that kettle bell for more than retail price. Only one example, spend ten minutes on the website and it will be evident how shady this practice is.

      This company simply rips you off over and over as they get rich. They claim that they have expert checkers that report the condition of an item then over and over they don't stand behind it. They sell defective merchandise, in fact I have a minimum of 3k worth of defective merchandise at this point. They also do not require ID at pick up but this last time I drove to a store an hour away to pick up paid items and they would not give me my paid for items and they argued about not refunding, they even threatened to call the police if I didn't leave when I demanded to take my paid for product or a refund. They eventually refunded me but just for that pick up. I have 500 dollars worth of other items to pick up and they suspended my account without a refund on those items. I am a reseller, I have made 25k in purchases in the past 45 days, I let a lot of the defective stuff go, but this I will not. They even sold me a stolen Macbook laptop, it was stolen from amazon corporate and at first told me that they are not responsible for the merchandise and they have full rights to sell stolen merchandise because it was the responsibility of the previous company that sent it to them. They eventually returned it. They can not continue to steal money, make false claims to get you to shop with them that they don't stand behind, and sell, take my money but refuse to give me my product. That is theft and they are stealing. I want the product I paid for and now I want to return the 3-4k worth of defective items they sold me. I'm tired of playing nice with the bullies and letting them run all over me.

      I am writing to file a complaint against M@C Discount for falsely accusing me of committing fraud on my account. When I contacted customer service to inquire about the issue, they stated from their accounting department, "He has a related account that has been suspended for fraudulently marking invoices paid." However, I have always paid my invoices on time and have never engaged in fraudulent activity.

      When I logged into my account one day with the same email and password, it created a new account. I assumed that it was a bug or something, but I wasn't able to use my cards because they were declined for some reason. I used Afterpay, and that worked perfectly fine, and I paid my invoices through them as well. I used the same card with Afterpay and had no issues.

      When I contacted the customer rep again to get more information, the customer service representative said, "Unfortunately, we do not. The owner is the one who reviewed your account and let Accounting know who passed the message on to me. We must honor what she says. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause."

      I am incredibly disappointed by this accusation, as I have always been thrilled with the service provided by M@C Discount. From the interactions with the workers to help locate my items to the money I have saved by using their service, I have had nothing but positive experiences with the company. I have even recommended the service to my friends and family, boasting about its effectiveness and convenience.

      Now, I find myself falsely accused of a crime I did not commit, which has caused me great distress and has tarnished my previously positive perception of the company. I am writing to request a thorough investigation of this issue and a correction of the records, as well as an apology for the inconvenience and damage to my reputation.

      I am hopeful that you can help me resolve this issue and clear my name of any wrongdoing. Your attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.

      I bought two open box items. Commercial coffee maker and an electric popcorn popper. Each had food debri from previous users. Not just an open box but a USED ITEM with food particles still in each item. I tried to return for refund. I was told too bad. Read your agreement. I say am open box is not the same as a USED ITEM. The posted photos show a NEW unit on each. Not a used item which would have easily been seen in an honest photo.

      The co suggested app download. Notice of winning auction not sent as all other notifications. User must wait hours and search email for notification when all other notifications are sent differently. Product photos are manipulated to disguise defects.       This company kept stating I had multiple accounts and I explained to them I only ever used one login and password. They stated that someone could close the account reopen using the same email / password. When I asked for the requests on these they couldn’t provide. They also stated there was a past due invoice on an item I didn’t purchase. I asked for the invoice and they wouldn’t provide. I explained I never requested any of the things and asked for notifications of closing which they wouldn’t / couldn’t provide. They also stated an CC number was used which wasn’t mine. I explained the issue was on their IT / operations and they said they wouldn’t open my account and it was a permanent ban.

      It has been verified through a digital check, that the accounts in question were associated with this customer. We check various digital outputs to confirm this. It is also next to impossible to send any information about an account once an induvial closes it on their end. Though all of the checks and verifications we could run, it has been verified that the accounts did belong to the customer and so did the bid for the item in question.

      When a bid comes from a customer's account, said customer is responsible for that bid. When this customer registered to bid with us, they agreed to all of our terms and conditions, including that one. I will paste those terms for reference. 

      2.4. Bidding - By placing a bid in an auction, you are extending an irrevocable offer to purchase the items at the price set forth in the bid. Once entered, a bid may not be retracted.

      2.6. Winning Bid - The User that entered the Winning Bid will consummate the purchase of the item within the time specified in the terms and conditions for the auction. Unless stated in the specific terms and conditions for an auction, all items will be charged to the User’s default credit card on file. This amount will include the Winning Bid, all buyers premiums, lot fees, Buyers Assurance Fee and sales tax, if applicable. Upon receipt of payment, all risk of loss shall pass to User. Winning Bids may not be cancelled at any point following the close of an auction.

      We are sorry the customer feels this way, but given his actions, there really isn't much more we can do in this case. We provided what we could with what we had available. Thank you.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********* and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.  They stated a purchase was made in Boardman, OH. I requested a copy of the invoice which they stated they did not have. They also stated a CC was used that is not a CC that I used. M@C stated I kept making new accounts, which I explained I had not done and utilized the same information reusing my only account I had. I offered to pay anything outstanding which they stated I didn’t have any. The last purchase I had I have offered to pay multiple times, but my account was closed. They were unable to explain how one login would be assigned multiple accounts. The digital tracking they did said account numbers that they created not me. My login never changed. I did change a password when I first started.
