I had a car financed with this company for most of the year in 2023. The auto loan was refinanced with my current bank. Flagship received the payoff check on June 23rd 2023. Come to find out there was a $1300.00 overpayment made. Therefore a refund should have been issued - which the company agrees with. They told me a check would be issued within 45 days. It is now September 18th, 2023 and no check had been issued and when I call and ask the representatives just tell me that they are waiting for an update. Nothing more. Even speaking to management I get the same message. That they are waiting for an update from management.Business Response

I am due an overage refund when my vehicle was paid off on June 16, 2023. They have the closed date as July 10. I have called at least 50 times since then. I have not received my refund. I have been told I would have it on several different dates. Now they just keep saying their 3rd party accounting has been notified. I was told I would have it within 20 to 40 business days. Today is day 46 and nothing. It also is still on my credit report that I owe them basically what was sent for payoff. I want what is due to me.Business Response

My account matured back in March of 2023. Due to some health issues and COVID I was out of work for a while. I recognize I was unable to make payment in a timely manner. However, I did communicate with flag ship and inform them of the issues I was having. My presenting issue for the last nine months I have been making payments on time for the full 419. Prior to my account maturity in February I called and asked for the remaining balance to try to settle my account. I was then told by a young lady that my account showed that I had not made payments for the last two months which was a complete fabrication. I then provided the confirmation number and the representative stated that that information did not populate in their system. I called the following month to attempt to attempt to settle my account and then the same thing took place to where the representative got into a verbal altercation with me refusing to transfer me to a manager or supervisor. Her exact words to me NO PAYMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE AND THE ACCOUNT IS THREE MONTHS BEHIND I asked the young lady to explain that to me when I have made payments on time. The conversation went no where and I had to call back. I was told to call and set up payment arrangements to keep phone calls from coming and to show a form of communication. I called back in June to once again attempt to settle my account and get clarification on my payments. I was told due to a system update my payment information had been lost. I spoke to a supervisor then who I provided the confirmation numbers to and I was told the confirmation numbers were not located in their system. I asked what was my remaining balance. Previous representatives had told me I owed over three thousand dollars on the vehicle. However, when I was emailed the account information the remaining balances were no where close to the figure. I have called since June asking a supervisor to call me back and have been told a email will be sent. There has been no contactBusiness Response

I have been a customer with this company for several years they are my loan servicing company and I have gone to my customer portal and there is no transaction history I have no idea how much my car has been paid only thing I know is how much I owe I have called them to send me my full customer transaction history to no avail I prefer to remain anonymous. I reviewed my Consumer Reports and noticed that I had two late payments on an account that I was never late for. Consumer Reporting Agencies have assumed a vital role and have a responsibility to report Consumer information to the best of their ability with Maximum Accuracy. I have never been late on payments for the account: Flagship Credit Acceptance LLC: ******XXXXXXXXXXX Please investigate and provide Proof with statements showing that these payments were late. Back on July 9 my car was total. My insurance company ***** pay off the loan to flagship around july 11 2023 then on august 7 2023 flagship took a $410.00 dollar payment out of my account when it payoff in July. Now their refusing to refund the money back it been over 30 days nowCustomer Answer

This is the second time doin this now on the first one . U can go back and check it they told their be sending my money in 5 to 7 business days. And its long past that as they're still refusing to refund my money. Everything they told u was a lie they don't plan on returning that money. Read their reviews nobody gets there money return to them. Is there something else we can do. It been almost 2 months now it should never take a company that long to refund money that they stole from me

So I purchased a Vehicle and it is Financed by Flagship I went to make my first payment b giving routing number and account number mind u the payment was 20 days early and I am finding out I don't get to simply make my transfer for freethe stick me with another 5.00 a payment after charging outrageous interest of 20% this is how the banks Robb common citizens no to mention THIS TERMINALLY ILL VETERAN who fought for our country how can I only have one free choice checks I don't use checks plus than u have to mail it I don't get out that much their has to be an adjustment somewhere to account for not giving a fee free way to pay my car loan other than MAILBusiness Response
