    Terrible customer service.They made an error and refused to refund me. Cost me $ 900. Lied about things to me.Never returned my calls or emails. They are not a very professional company.Would advise staying away from this company

    Hello,I was on the phone simply asking how to get help. What the difference of secure debt verse unsecured ment. What loan places qualified. I didn't ask for every single one just an idea. I was accused of yelling before I even yelled. I yelled after they told me I yelled. That is crazy that they can't help anyone. Where do they get money from if they just go around telling people they can't be helped. Do you money from the government. Is this a higher up issue? How can you help anyone if you don't know what you can do or how you could help?Crazy business that doesn't help with what you say you are good at. ****** in debt but all of it is secure loans? What is an insecure loan? (Wait you can't answer that, you only help **** become ****er) This is crazy. Not helpful and a scam for only the ****. Your company needs to get shut down. Especially since all you are good for is to stuck your nose up and not be helpful at all. I'm sorry I'm not **** like you. But that is no way to treat someone. I am sorry I also yelled after the 3rd ****** who refused to answer what they could help with. I am pregnant and tired of you always thinking you are better than someone just because you can.

    I would run away I have been with them for over a year and they never got it right on my payment schedule I said the 15 th and the 30th of each month they took money out when ever they liked too costing me over $500 in bank fees then I tried switching it and then told me my rate would go up then I tried getting a refund of my bank fees only $300 of it then they said we can pull it out of my own money and pay it back I said ok but it should be from them they never sent it and said my rate will go up $70 because now that they switched my payments to the right dates I said send me all my money back I will file for bankruptcy they said they cant send me any money back ???

    They are thieves. I paid more fees then I should have. They only paid off 1 creditor an ld I didn't have that much owed on that one. They were sending the creditors like $10 and the rest going to them and fees out of $243 twice a month. And there was only six creditors. Needless to say I ended up canceling them and now I will owe literally everything that I owed before. This place is a joke don't waste your time or money. They need to be shut down.

    They keep trying to take money out of my account. When I ca to tl tell them to kindly leave my money alone, they give me attitude. Call me again and I'm taking people's lives.

    When something goes wrong with their debt settlement they will not have your back. I had a settlement agreement. I made all 24 payments. The very first payment was sent by JG Wentworth late and voided the agreement with the creditor. Nobody acknowledged this for 3 years. Now I am expected to pay the difference even though JG Wentworth took a commission for settling this account.

    Their debt relief program is a literal waste of ************* Their job is to negotiate on your behalf with a debtor or creditor that you owe money to, and it all sounds great when they cut what you owe in half, etc. So you're happy that your $2,000 debt was reduced to $1,000. JG Wentworth pays that creditor the negotiated lower amount, and it's "paid in full". BUT just wait because 3 years later after that negioation was made, that original creditor can sell the difference in about to a 3rd party debt collector. And that debt collector puts your "paid in full" account into collections. JG Wentworth does NOT tell you that this can happen. And when you bring it to JG Wentworth's attention of you now having a collection on your credit report, they are like "oh that rarely ever happens so we don't talk about that. And it's only 1 collection that's not bad on a credit report...." They said that once they make their last payment to the creditor of the negioation amount, that creditor takes the final payment. Then they are given 90 days from that final payment to either close the debt or to go after the person for the difference. ** does not tell you this either because as they say now "that hardly ever happens". And now JG says that we need to call the collector ourselves to remind them that they got their money from JG Wentworth. When at the very beginning we were explicitly told not to tell the debtors or creditors that we were even using a debt consolidated company in the first place. Just to tell them "I'm not making a payment at this time" if anyone ever called us asking for a payment. But now years later, they want us to call them! It's ridiculous. Debt relief is supposed to help people reduce what they owe, not just temporarily reduce what they owe until a later time.

    I give jg Wentworth 25 thumbs down, they are believed to own ******************* also but they will not tell you that because they are really scamming, they lie and they lie and they lie, I have an application with them, and it took them about a week to contact my attorney, and when they did they immediately started with the lies so please anyone who thinking of doing business with these two companies save yourself time heartache and pain from these vampires don't do it you will thank me later, and if you do it anyway you will be saying I should have listened, I gave one star and the only reason I did is I had to leave something for the review and wish I could give 100 upside down stars

    My Experience with JG Wentworth – A Cautionary Tale
    Like many others, I was deeply impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. I lost my business, home, health, and family, and was left overwhelmed by debt. In an effort to avoid bankruptcy, I placed my trust in the JG Wentworth program in December 2022.
    Since then, I’ve paid over $50,000 in on-time monthly installments. However, the experience has been deeply disappointing. The representative who originally signed me up misrepresented key aspects of the program and then left the company. I later found her on LinkedIn, where she admitted to doing “whatever it took” to get people to enroll.
    Since enrolling, the issues have only worsened. Despite repeated requests, JG Wentworth has failed to restore my access to online statements. Even more troubling, they have erased documents I submitted over the last two years. One of my three active accounts—which previously showed I was only 11 payments away from completion—has been inexplicably reset.
    When I contacted my creditors directly, all three informed me that they have not received any payments on my behalf since 2022.
    I entered this program in good faith, hoping to regain control of my financial future. Instead, I now feel deceived and left in an even more precarious position. I’m sharing my story in the hope that others can make informed decisions and avoid the same mistakes.
