Ive talked with a few managers and one refused to come to the phone. Both lied to me and all the representatives are rude. Do not do business with this company they make mistakes and then they take it upon themselves to blame you. Not only that they belittle you put you on hold or straight hang up on you. Just go to *** capital and please save yourself a headache. Complete and utter rip off.Pedatory practices.When I signed agreement I was told that settlements would be settled by percentage..At end of day I was better of addressing these debts myself because they are simply banking the savings they areange..Do nor deal with this company unless you want another corporation to benefit from your misfortune.Dont say you were not warmed.J.G. I screwed myself over working with this company. I initially just wanted a loan to consolidate all my debt when I was contacted by this program. My credit score was good, but the interest on some of my accounts were too high. I was told to stop paying my creditors, pay into their account, and was given amounts that they could settle my accounts up to. I knew some were too good to be true, but I proceeded anyway. It has been about 3 to 4 months, and I am so done with this company. The only available contact is through their call center, where you will speak with various representatives who primarily follow provided scripts. Hours for this call center are limited to basically 9 to **** the end, I wish I had just gone with a loan to consolidate all my debt. My credit score has tanked badly. I removed two accounts from the program, and the one settlement I did receive and accept due to the threat of legal action by a third party. That was only about 1500 off my original balance. I could have negotiated that myself without their fees and the hit to my credit score. I am waiting for them to settle my second account so I can be finished with them. However, after seeing reviews from others stating they got sued even after the settlement due to JGWs recklessness. I might still end up in court.I beg anyone, especially with a decent or good credit score, to please not sign up with this company. Their salespeople will say anything to get you to sign up, but it is all too good to be true. Those amounts that they say they can get your accounts down to are most likely to entice you to sign up. However, in the end, you end up losing out more than you would if you had worked with the creditors directly. In addition to that, you are stuck talking to people who couldn't care less about how they have ruined you. Every associate I have spoken with has lacked emotional expression beyond the standard "I understand." The added stress and headache are not worth it.J.G. Wentworth

Would never ever recommend this company. I've called 1 to 2 times a week to make sure that all my final paymenta went through and even asked for a payoff amount. When I'd schedule a draft thinking everything is about to be paid in full and waiting a week to call back to see why it hasnt gone through they tell me I need so and so amount more to pay it completely off. Each and every time I called, and i called a lot they tell me something different each time. If you are in debt call the original creditor or collections yourself and work on a deal because this place is a rip off.J.G. Wentworth

Go with a company that actually loans you the money to pay off your debt. Your score will tank as you accrue your own money and they cant guarantee a settlement. They never resolved one of my cards after two years and suddenly I got served papers to pay the debt that had been in consolidation with them. I had no idea they hadnt reached an agreement. Not only did they not reach an agreement but they cost me an extra $3000 in interest that I now also have to pay. I almost had to go to court for something I thought was handled and I was paying a lot to them to be handled. Not to mention the embarrassment of the STATE POLICE showing up to my house with court papers. No communication. Terrible experience. Run from this company.J.G. Wentworth

The company made a creditor take me to court with not responding to the debt. Now my program was suppose to end in February 2025 and we are into the middle of April 2025. They have the money in my account to pay off the last creditor and JG sent me a settlement to accept where they acknowledged to receive my acceptance however no attempts have been made to pay this creditor at all. I called the creditor and asked if they reached out to them because I accepted a settlement from them and they said no they have not reached out to them to pay them, I also see my money just sitting in my JG account. I have been calling JG and the customer service are repetitive with their response and advising I would receive an answer from the negotiator in 24 to 48 hours and to this date we are going into a week of nothing, at this point I'm looking into satisfying this creditor myself and taking JG to small claims court for the money that's sitting in my account paid by me to them for this creditor. It's really unprofessional and damaging to go unanswered and I'm really surprised they don't live up to their famous name. I really recommend anyone thinking of this company to look elsewhere. I am very unsatisfied with this outcome and it's making me take other steps due to their negligence.J.G. Wentworth
