    If you give them your information once, they will contact you FOREVER. I have asked them to stop calling me and to stop sending mail and email, but they DONT STOP. They are like aggressive vultures.

    Im not happy that other people have been swindled by these jokers. However, its comforting that Im not just imagining it. My mothers account manager, along with two customer service team members (in name only), and even the complaints department (complaint@jgwentworth), have all ignored my emails containing indisputable evidence that funds sent by the reputable annuity company to JG Wentworth shouldve been transferred to my mother. Instead, JG Wentworth deposited the check and failed to notify my mother. We only discovered this because I followed up with JG Wentworth. (By the way, I have power of attorney for my mother, so their lack of response is unjustifiable.)Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this unethical company. They are the company equivalent of a narcissist. Thank God I should be able to resolve this directly with the annuity company.For your financial security and sanity, I cannot stress enough how important it is to steer clear of JG Wentworth and their suspiciously positive reviews. The BBB website is not like ****** reviews; I question why the BBB allows such posts. I always thought the BBB was meant to help resolve disputes with companies who won't cooperate directly. JG Wentworth has even manipulated BBB reviews for their own benefit; BBB, where are the safeguards?I am willing to provide irrefutable proof of JG Wentworth's misconduct to the BBB or any relevant authority that can assist in resolving this matter.

    I truly appreciate the offer and the assistance from J.G. WENTWORTH. I am looking at retirement next year and I want to have minimal debts when I do so. With these fixed payments it is much easier to meet my goals.

    I was expecting to get personal loans consolidated. Money was taken out of my check for 2 years in the amount of ****** and they still have not paid the loans I had on file with them. JG Wentworth worked with a firm called ****** Law LLC and they are the ones I was dealing with. Now Im requesting a refund in the 2 years I have been paying and it should be more than ********. ****** Law LLC did nothing to help me and ** still receiving letters from court stating wage garnishment from creditors. This has been costing me a lot for the past 2 years paying a company who has not helped me resolve my loans. I believe they would owe me a refund in at least $ ****** which may be 2 years worth paying every month ****** . I just want to resolve this situation with a refund so that I can pay the loans off on my own. Thank you in advance

    This is a company with absolutely no integrity. I signed up with them to settle debt that they indicated would be settled in three years. I never missed a $560 a month payment but at the end of three years was I done? No. Without my consent they "extended" my payments for another 7 months. The reason? They were unable to negotiate one of my cards down. Did they notify me of this? No. Is there any recourse for me? No. Is there any way to prove that this extension - without my consent - was justified? No. Was there any way to renegotiate their fees? No. Did it take me several calls, with a promise to have a supervisor call me back to discuss this situation? Yes. Did they ever call me back? No.Basically they "warned" me that if I didn't make the additional payments the credit card company would "come after me" with higher fees and additional money owed. Do not, under any circumstances do business with this predatory, dishonest group of people.

    Just started with them and already have a settlement on one account. Yes there are fees (they are working for you) and it's a percentage of the balance owed when first starting. The fees save you all the extra interest that would have accumulated had they not helped.Looking forward to the next settlement.

    DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. They will begin by claiming they are going to save you around 50 % of any debt that you may have by entering in to there program. THIS IS A LIE ALSO CLAIMING THAT IT WILL BE A VERY QUICK TURN AROUND ON STRAIGHTENENING OUT YOUR CREDIT IF YOU ENTER THE PROGRAM. THIS IS A LIE They will send you a contract with total debt at what you know to be about 50% of your debt plus there share for there services. THIS WILL ALSO BE A LIE.YOU WILL NOT SAVE 1 DIME BY ALLOWING THEM TO MANAGE THESE DEBTS.YOU WILL PAY MORE FOR YOU DEBT AT 100% THAN BY ALLOWING THEM TO ENROLL YOU IN THE PROGRAM.DO NOT TRUST THEM. After they have baited you into signing a contract with them, they will then tell you to allow all of your debt go into default with the debtors. This is a period of around 6 months. Knowing that the the debt will be charged off. This will stay on you credit for 7 years as being charged off. DO NOT EXPECT TO BE ABLE TO BUY ANYTHING FOR A VERY LONG TIME. AFTER SIGNING A 3 YEAR CONTRACT WITH THEM TO SETTLE DEBT FOR AROUND ********.GUESS WHAT 3 YEARS AND ******** DOLLARS LATER THE PROGRAM NEEDS TO BE EXTENDED, THEY WILL NEED ANOTHER ******** It is my hope that anyone thinking of using JGWentworth for this service would try to find another way to resolve there debt problem.These guys will lie to you over and over from the very first conversation.

    I went with JG Wentworth to help settle my credit cards. After their fees I still ended up paying 90% to 95% of the debt. Yes they would settle for 50% of my credit debt, but their fees are ridiculous! You can negotiate your debt with your credit cards on yoir own. Just give your credit card a call before its sold to a collection agency.
