I have been through a few refinances, and I have never had the problems I had with this lender. In the beginning the loan officer answered all my questions, returned calls and seem interested in my needs. I locked in a rate and two days later it was changed which I didn't think was ethical. Nothing about the loan had changed not the amount, my income etc. The closer to closing the same information was required several times and the client advocate was not much help. After the closing is when things really went wrong. They were supposed to send the payments to the accounts directly which wasn't done, I received the checks by UPS, no letter explaining nothing. Two of the larger accounts totaling 19,000 were left out totally, two accounts were paid twice, two accounts were were paid less then due. That was seven mistakes . The closing on the 10th of Aug was stretched out to 21 days past that. I called not getting help but excuses, I finally had to contact the title company myself and thankfully the agent I spoke to had it sorted out within a week. This was very stressful as any loans but when no one tried to help me but misdirecting me it was uncalled for. If you choose this lender just be sure to go over everything. I wrote to the main office in Pa. no response there either. I felt the first payment should have been a month past their first date they gave me bacause of all the problems. Guess not.
