      This has been a very long and enduring journey but I’m trying to get to the end of it.

      I purchased a kayak from DSG via Public Lands on 3/20/23, Order #***********.

      Unfortunately, it arrived damaged as if it was dropped, dragged, and/or transported with a forklift.

      After some back and forth, we finally got a plan in place to get everything situated and the kayak returned to DSG for a refund.

      I will add, everyone I’ve talked to on Public Lands has been outstanding and helpful. So no fault on them.

      AIT Logistics was used for the merchandise return who outsourced it to Island Deliveries (AIT#**********). The pickup was completed on 4/7/23 and I provided them with all of the items: kayak, seat, and pedal drive. Photos attached for reference.

      I was suppose to receive my refund accordingly soon after that, but every time I’ve called to check; the date has repeatedly moved and extended further. I was later told March 27, I called today and now they’re saying May 4. At this point, I may just need to do a chargeback with all of oh documentation and surveillance videos indicating the items has been picked up to come to a resolution.

      The item is no longer in my hand and has been lost in limbo with DSG for over 20 days now. I’m not sure why I’m being punished for their discount logistics and they’ve been floating $2,500 of my money this entire time.

      I am forced to file this complaint against Dicks Sporting Goods, where they canceled my shoe "Columbia Men's Trailstorm Mid Waterproof Hiking Boots" size 11.5 from my Order #***********, and then refused to substitute with another color for the same size.
      When I placed the order, the size was available, however Dicks failed to ship the shoe immediately which resulted in the item becoming out of stock. Dick's should NOT have delayed the shipping. I latter contacted 3 times, and all the agents refused to do anything. None of them would replace size 11.5 with another color, and instead asked me to pay more. This is the classic case of bait and switch, where they offered a color of the same model shoe at a lower price, and then purposefully wouldn't ship it, cancel the order, and then ask us to place another order with the higher price. This kind of practice by Dicks' seems to be disgusting. Rather than understanding the concern of a customer, empathizing with me, agreeing on the fault at their end, and trying to resolve it, Dick's agents decide to do nothing.
      Now, I was forced to order same color for lower size to get same price, but here also, they refused to do anything extra for my inconvenience. In fact, they even refused to let me use my Rewards on the order, and was told that they can price match to $40.96. Well that is what I paid and that's my right to get at that price. However, refusing to do anything extra for the inconvenience, or even letting me apply my $10 rewards is wrong.
      I ultimately had to order for a smaller size, same COLOR, but paid more than what I paid. This is also not fair.

      On 04.21.23, I paid $50.00 dollars plus applicable state taxes for VA on a single shirt from UA at this establishment. As one should always do, I took the shirt home and laundered said shirt according to the recommended laundering instructions listed on the tag of the garment. The garment then shrank to half its original size. Upon realizing this shrinkage had occurred, I reached out to the business to inquire about whether the garment was still eligible for a return. I was rejected for a return by the store due to my laundering of the garment. I then reached out to the online support team at the establishment, with the agent refusing to help me as the support team did not deal with in-store purchases.

      I purchased several items on April 13th Order: ***********. I did not get any of these items despite them saying they were delivered. I reached out and was only refunded for one single item in the order! So I now don't have any of the items or my money!

      Good afternoon BBB, we have reached out to Mr. ********* and informed them that unfortunately since there were a total of five separate shipments from their online order, all of which have photo confirmation of being delivered, we were unable to assist with a refund moving forward. Mr. ********* was directed to either filing a claim with FedEx delivery services or to notify their creditor/banking establishment so if a dispute needed submitted, they could assist. We also notified Mr. ********** since there is photo confirmation of these deliveries, that they should also contact their local law enforcement agency and file a police report if they feel these packages were stolen since this appears to be an apartment complex.

      I purchased a Louisville slugger meta bat back in August from Dicks sporting goods. When we went to pay the girl asked us about buying the warranty. She said it covers any issues with the bat in the first year. She said even if you decided you just want a different bat all you do is file a claim and then you send the bat back to dicks and we will mail you a gift card for the full purchase price. We purchased the warranty and tried to file a claim today and was told that is misinformation and we can go through Louisville slugger if we want to try to get a replacement. The warranty we bought evidently is just an extension for an additional year of the manufacturer warranty. We were completely misled in order for them to sell a warranty that is of no use to us. Asurion is evidently who you actually are purchasing the warranty with and I tried chatting with them today and was told the store misinformed me and then they disconnected the chat.

      I placed an order on this company’s website. Their policy that is stated on their website says you can cancel an order up until 30 minutes after you place it. I cancelled my order within this time period.

      The company did not cancel my order, billed my credit card and shipped my order out.

      I did not went this order which is why I cancelled this. I am reporting this company for price gauging.

      I ordered online through dicks sporting goods and I ordered batting gloves. I received the wrong color and pair I ordered white ones and got black ones and then I sent them back and they are saying they received the wrong item back , but I received the wrong item in the first place !! So clearly I’d. Be sending back the aroma item then what was on the original order! And they said they will not be refunding me or even sending me back a correct item!!

      I went into Dicks Sporting Goods in Rockaway NJ and I needed to purchase baseball cleats for one of my JV baseball players. His parents were unable to purchase him cleats and he is also special needs and having him part of the team is a huge social step for him. When I spoke to the sales rep in the shoe department he berated me for waiting so long to purchase cleats. He stated everyone knows to come in early like February to buy them. I explained to him that it was just brought to my attention that one of my players did not have cleats and were unable to purchase them so that is the reason why I'm in there now to buy them for him. I wasn't looking to buy the most expensive but after he got done yelling at his machine for not scanning the show correctly he went back into the room and brought out what he said was the only pair of size 10 he had left. They were close to 90 dollars. I ended up just buying the shoes because I was so taken back by his rudeness and attitude over a pair of cleats. Again he spoke down to me saying I should know better as a coach to come in early for cleats instead of waiting until the last minute to buy them. I repeated again they were for a player of mine that could not afford cleats and it was just brought to my attention and I walked away to purchase the cleats. I have never felt insulted and talked down to like that in any store. Like I stated before I ended up buying the cleats because I felt embarrassed as other customers were there and one other staff member, I do not regret buying the cleats because I know my player will be overjoyed but I do not appreciate the way I was talked to and treated while trying to find a pair for him.

      3/30/23 I placed the ordered ************** a pair of tennis for pick up at the store mind you I live about 45 minutes from the store and I don't have a lot of time that's why I opted for curbside pick up. Now I am home and the box that comes in a sealed plastic bag only has one shoe! I called the store no help. I went to the store which a representative Karla was like it wasn't not a ng deal no apology and nothing for my inconvenience. That is not good customer service. Now I am out a pair if shoes I needed, time in going 45 min twice in one day to a store in which the job was not done right and a very unhappy customer. They don't seem to care about customer sevice. And to top it of out rewards that I used.
