      Ordered a Detroit axel, 25 7/16 inch overall a couple months ago as I knew it would need to be replaced. I went to change it last week, and the part in the box was a 26 13/16 inch overall. To be clear, the box had the correct part number on it, but they had packaged a different part in the box. I called and they said they would put in a ticket, the reply I got was that it was over 30 days so nothing would be done. I called again, explained it was not that I ordered the incorrect part, but that the warehouse had put the incorrect part in the box for the part I wanted. Despite it being their mess up, they were not willing to accept the part back, refund me, or send the correct part. Summary-spent 45+ mins on the phone to be told I would have to by the part again if I wanted it even though it was their mistake

      We have a 30 day return policy. We must be contacted within 30 days of receipt for an RMA number. We will not accept any returns after 30 days, no exceptions. All returns including cores require an RMA number. You MUST fill out a support ticket on our website for an RMA number. DO NOT send back any parts without first obtaining an RMA number via e-mail, or else your credit will be delayed significantly.       I never had issues with part’s geek although I have ordered an the part was defective after 4 weeks I ordered the same thing from another auto parts store with the same results.
      The hassle of having to send parts after installing and removing was tedious at best and mailing out the parts and having to wait for return is the downturn.
      Other than that ordering and receiving on point.

      The way of managing inventory is infuriating and outdated. there's not nothing better about this business. Cant rely on them to get you the parts you need because they might email you three days after you placed the order to tell you the parts were not in stock!

      Please accept our sincere apologies for failing to provide you with the excellent service you expected from us. The part ordered was out of stock. Although we try our best to maintain 100% accuracy with inventory, there are rare occasions where the product is not available. Unfortunately, we currently do not have an out of stock notification system in place, the usual estimate on back ordered parts to become available is 2-3 weeks. Please check our website to see if we offer another brand, if so just place a new order for that part(s)

      I've been using Parts Geek on and off for 5 years for my BMW. I get the right part every time the first time and the shipping is FAST.
      These qualities are so important to me because my car is my money maker. I cant afford to have my car out of commission too long.
      So far I have bought brakes, rotors, radiator, valve cover gasket, motor mount, spark plugs and about to buy shocks for this car.
      I save SO MUCH money and time using Parts Geek, it makes owning my BMW remain fun.

      NO STARS!!!!!!!! Partsgeek sent me a defective part and they would not refund my money or send a non-defective part. They stated that they only refund defective parts if a certified technician works on the vehicle and they provide an invoice documenting the defective part. If Partsgeek does not stand behind their parts, they should not be in business.
      This is very BAD BUSINESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
      I will never purchase another item from Partsgeek!

      Most of our parts (but not all) come with a one year warranty excluding wear and tear items. Depending on the type of product you purchased, you may also have an extended warranty if you purchased one. Please also refer to the manufacturer information that was included with your product for additional information. If your part fails we will issue you an RMA number to return the product. Faulty parts and improperly installed parts return decisions are left up to the particular manufacturers' rules and regulations. We process the return for you by accepting the part and then forward the part directly to the manufacturer for final approval. Installation of auto parts should be handled by a Certified Automotive Technician, and you should maintain a copy of the repair order after the repair is completed for your records. Especially, with items such as ECM's, A/C Compressors, Receiver Dryers, etc. where misdiagnosis and/or installation can easily damage a part. Remember, that having a certified technician install a part does not necessarily mean it was properly installed, but it will eliminate more of the common errors. On occasion, we may ask for the original repair order and other documentation regarding the repair to be sent to us in order to process the return. If your part is found to be defective you will receive a full refund. All replacement items must be re-purchased. We do not send out free replacements.

      Do not order from Parts geek, I ordered 6 items which cost me 65 dollars in shipping cost and the parts were 70 dollars You do the math.
      the parts that I was ordering were small gaskets and o rings that could have gone inside a small box or letter. this is a scam; they make their money off shipping and tell you it's the shipper
      I used to work for UPS, and this is not how they work so do not waste your money and time on this company. I finally ordered the same parts off of amazon for a cheaper price and free shipping
