      My name is ******** ******, I am the daughter of ***** ****** and due to my father's limited English I will be writing this complaint on his behalf and with his authorization. On April 7, 2025 my father went into Allan Hornbeck to purchase a vehicle he had seen advertised online in ******** marketplace, The car was advertised at $20,777. After inquiring about the vehicle through text, the dealership confirmed the cost was $20,777. My father when in, April 7th to take a look at the vehicle, my father agreed to purchase the car with a down payment of $7,500. After they had him signed everything, he left with the new vehicle. After a few days I sat down with him to go over the purchase and we noticed that the numbers were not adding up and at this point, in some of the copies he had received the numbers were adding up to over $30K. My father went back to the dealership and the ** refused to see him. My father contacted a law firm and they were able to then get a copy of the retail purchase agreement, which was not provided to my father initially and we then saw that he was charged $30,361.41. He also had a $3000 service contract fee an a $1000 APPI fee which he was never told nor explained what was. My father's signature is on all documents but I can say he did not understand what he was signing and this other services were not explained fully to him. We tried resolving this with the dealership but they refuse to see us. My father decided to go to this supposed "big dealership" because he wanted to avoid issues and yet he was deceived and taken advantage of. We did contacted a lawyer to have his contract dissolved but we have not heard anything yet. We ask for your help. We just want our $7,500 back and the contract canceled. This was false advertisement and again, no one show be taken advantage of like this.

      I got a used 2022 *** 228i from the dealership this month and it has a shake in the car I had there last weekend and it still shakes so I got new tires and still shakes they told me it has 3 out 4 wheels are bend and one tire had cords showing I called the dealership yesterday and they told me they won't fix it I just want it fixed

      I bought a pickup from them about 6mo after I bought it the exhaust manifold stud broke. They fixed it but upon fixing it the stripped out the holes for the studs they attempted to fix it never told me they did the studs broke again because of their lack in customer service during this repair I choose to take my repair to someone else. Upon the new places inspection they found all studs to be loose and stripped out 2 studs broken with multiple helicoil to retreat stripped out holes. I called hornbeck to see what they would do to correct their mess up and they said it was not their issues that it was the mechanic that removed the manifold that did the damage. Well how did he put helicoil threads in before he removed the manifold? They need to be held to a high standard as they charged for the work that was not performed to *** standards. At the least a apology for messing my truck up

      I purchased a tesla from then back in February and they didnt get to do the plates and registration before the temp expires. i had to personally do all the leg work just for it to get done 2months after the purchase. Now i have been calling, emailing daily to ask for refund of the money i spent on filling the playes and registration PLUS the money they charged me to get it done. I feel like when they see my name on the caller ID they refuse to pick up the call, i live more than an hour away from the dealership and im afraid if i take the drive there it will jot be pretty. Last time i spoke with someone they said it has been mailed, I asked for it to be mailed to my PA address coz i dont live in my previous NJ license address anymore, its my parents address but theyre out of country until December. I havent been able to speak to a person after that. I dont understand why theyre dodging my calls when theyre the one who didnt do their part! I only want whats owed to me!!! ********

      On 9/7/24 I purchased a vehicle, I had called to confirm the price was $23,777 as listed. When the bill of sale was presented unbeknownst to me additional charges were included; the additional charges were for a low **** ******* a paint gloss shine and a warranty, there was another additional fee I don't remember what is was. I did not ask for any of these services, the merchant did not install a low **** system and the car was still under the manufactures warranty. Also I was promised to be reimbursed for the expense of two new tires because the tires the merchant ordered did not arrive in time for the scheduled 9/11/24 delivery. I have not received the reimbursement check to date. The merchant did remove the warranty but the additional charges remained and I was not able to purchase the vehicle without these additional charges. It appears car sales advertising need to be investigated, it is a common practice to advertise a vehicle for sale at a lower price. Also I was told the vehicle needed 2 new tires, there was one new tire on the vehicle so I had to replace three tire.

      I bought my car June 12 of 2023. *** had nothing but issues since I bought it. Within the first month that I bought it, I had to bring it back also within the first week. I had to bring it back so that they can fix things on it. I have replaced intake manifold and filter housing Ive had to replace a radiator. Ive had oil leaking since I bought the car took it to them. They said they fixed the issue. They never fixed the issue. Ive gotten to the point where I feel like Im not getting any of them to try to get any type of help theyre stating they dont have anything available for 2 to 3 weeks and theyre not trying to give me a rental car when previously they have. At this point, I feel like I was sold a car. I felt like that this is not the first time to them because when I spoke to the manager about seven months ago, I told him the same thing. Ive had to have this car getting fixed every month now its getting to the point where every two weeks. I dont even want them to work on my car. I want money back. I want the business shut down. Something needs to be resolved because they have horrible customer service and theyre selling people bad cars.

      End of may I called to tell the service department about my jeep issues they said they would order the part for start stop switch. Weeks went by no call back nothing I then called after many times finally got someone they said they knew nothing about my part so had to order it again. And had to wait month later to bring in to fix that was July sometime when I as able bring into service the switch after 4 hours said was done then proceeded to leave go down half mile and none of my buttons o. The steering wheel did not work not my back up screen or my 4x4 light switch either he then said look at it to se Eid was a wire or a fuse then came to tell me we have send off for warranty see if its covered and such I waited no call back once again I kept ****** dealer promised call back by the sales manager nothing the main manager was on vacation I was told. When speaking to omir sales manager he then said between him and I he would get this taken care of three weeks have gone by no call back. I called again was promised someone call me back on a Friday nothing then yesterday September 16 talked to a geno he said needs be brought in for service diagnostic I said Im not responsible to pay for nothing they messed up my vehicle when bringing into for services start stop switch and said no opening until October we will have service lady call u back get you in sooner no call back I then called her she said had wait middle October I said no I was promised to get in sooner and now told I cant. Ive been waiting over month for this issue get resolved because your service guys messed up my vehicle and now Im told Im held reliable when I know a loyal customer and pay extra for my warranty.

      We contacted the jeep dealer where we purchased the switch from and have confirmed that the replacement of the switch has nothing to do with the concerns you have now

      It is not related to the repair but we as your dealer want to see if there is anything that can be done to repair this at the lowest cost we can to assist you.

      When I bought my ***** equinox they said they would fix the radio that wasn't working at the time I purchased it. It's been nearly 3 months and they don't have the part they don't answer my calls or they don't return my voicemails. This is ridiculous and this place should be shut down

      I recently purchased a 2020 **** F150 Lariat for $43,832 on July 12, 2024 from Hornbeck Chevrolet in **************** **. The day after getting home the check engine light came on for a catalytic converter issue. I contacted Hornbeck Chevrolet. They told me that I should take it to a **** dealership because it still fall under the factory warranty, that appointment date was today aug 19 ***************************************************************************************************************** by all sensors to trick the *** into reading that there is no problem. which means it does not fall under the factory warranty. I called Hornbeck Chevrolet and they told me there is nothing they can do and that I am responsible for paying to fix it.

      Dealer has pulled history from carfax and records to find that thsi vehicle had been at ************ **** 3 times for the check engine light condition

      with the *** replaced 2 times and Cat convertrer replacement..... the vehicle did not leave in the condition that is shown.

      Dealer has left numerous messages for cusotmer to return call.   If the vehicle comes in the dealer will put the vehicle back to OEM Condition and the Converter is 

      covered under Federal Emmissions Warranty at ford.

      Purchased used car in October 2023(sales person ******** Told ****** the car had to have two things..room in trunk for wheelchair and air conditioning because of of a health condition that doesn't let my body tolerate heat). She found a ******* Tuscan and stated there was issue with air conditioning but they would repair it. We also purchased extended warranty from Liberty shield which we were told would cover everything 100 % if something went wrong. We purchased car and made appointment for AC to be fixed two weeks later. They provided us with loaner, supposedly fixed it and brought it back ..we live in ****************** so it's a 45 minute trip one way. Air seemed to work but two days later we hit cold spell and didn't use AC till late March..it didn't worked. Called service to find out the entire team including ****** was let go..new service manager made appointment gave us appointment and we had to provide own transportation..they put dye in it and freon but couldn't find leak. Sent us off 2 weeks later same thing happened. New service manager assured us that it was fixed. We had at this point found out that the warranty that pays everything has 250 deductible per issue. A lot of money on fixed income. They told us we would have to use warranty now. Even though they never fixed it when we bought it. This service manager said if it wasn't fixed he'd pay the the 250 out of his pocket. 2 weeks later no ac. Now they want us to leave it overnight..another trip. They did same dye test..nothing different. Didn't find anything but filled with freon. Now we come to past two weeks, not working. They now demanding the 250 deductible for a repair that was supposed to be completed when we bought car I would have never bought car if there was issue with ac..I would have paid for a no deductible warranty but was not given option and they were not transparent about the deductible at at signing. If they can't fix it, I would like the 250 for ded so I can get fixd

      The customer purchased the vehicle and returned with an A/C concern.  Dealer made a 1 time goodwill "recharge" of the system with  leak detection dye installed.  Customer was informed to return in 1 week for recheck.  The customer drove the vehicle and returned a month after when the dye had been washed off and was untracable.   The car returned recently and we started the procedure again,  currently we are awiating the car to return to check if there are any leaks.   In the event there is a leak the customer has coverage thru their extended warranty that would cover the repair.  Customer lives close to a dealer in ****************** who told them they have not appointments for 6 months.. We want to accomodate the concern but need the customer to bring the car to us and drop off for service.
