      I bought a car from them March 14,2024 telling them to register the car under my husband or my dad and of course while over there they said it wasnt a problem. sign here, sign there dobe. then the check from my bank wasnt sogned so they sent someone to the house to have it signed and again i confirmed to whom car needs to be registered. 2months and my temp plates is expiring they tell me car needs to be registered under me coz i signed all documents. iv been calling, emailing, leaving msgs for someone to get back with me for my plates and registration and nothing

      it didnt take 30 days, even after 60days it still wasnt done. no one called back, no one replied. even now that i finished the paperworks, iv been trying to reach out to them EVERYDAY asking for Omir or a call back. No call backs! Zero! Zero stars in customer service!! you can get your car back, i want my money back. you guys need to hire everyone new and fire everyone!!

      Vehicle purchased. Had many problems had to fight with hornbeck Chevrolet to get the car repaired. They still left things on repaired. There was a wood s**** holding on the bumper which has not been repaired. They did repair the passenger side mirror. They did replace brake pads. They did not replace rotors. We recently had to replace brake pads and rotors. The car consistently has electrical issues, has check engine light that comes on and shuts off frequently on its own has been consistent since the purchase of the vehicle. Vehicle was not delivered upon signing. We did not see the vehicle before signing. We did not see the vehicle until about a week after signing. Unsure how it passed a safety inspection with the brakes the way they were. We were sold a lemon at this point I would appreciate the front bumper that was held on by a wood s**** to be repaired completely.

      DEALER MADE A GOODWILL REPAIR AND REPAIRED ALL ITEMS AS REQUESTED

       

      AS FOR THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT THE NARRATIVE WAS TOLD TO THE CUSTOMER THAT IF THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WERE TO REOCCUR,  THE VEHICLE COULD BE LEFT AT THE DEALER

      AS THE LIGHT WAS NOT ON WHEN IT CAME TO THE DEALER.   THE DEALER PERFORMED A COMPUTER RESET AN SET THE ***** SETTINGS BACK TO ORIGINAL SETTINGS

      Hornbeck ***** has had my vehicle in their possession for 5 weeks. They are stating it is a hold up on the warrantees end but the warranty gave the OK to proceed a few weeks ago. I have been calling daily for with no return call. This has caused nothing but stress and inconvenience. I am a nurse and have missed work, forced to rent a car out of pocket, and have been tardy multiple days.

      My husband and I bought a **** ******** ******** on November 2, 2023. We just recently found out our car had been totaled and had been through some very troubling times the prior few months. I was very confident on purchasing through Hornbeck again. I was so wrong. I explained to ******* our situation and what we dealt with the past year. We did everything through phone and email just like with the last car I purchased. We never received our Sales Agreement, also the car had damage that was not disclosed to us. The hood bounces and seems like it is going to fly up and smash the windhield, causes the sensor for the Automatic start/stop to come on. The tire pressure system is not working, there are pieces in the inside of the car missing in the back (seatbelt covers), the windshield washer sprayer does not work not even a sound, the dash is not secured all the way, or the center console. We texted on the Saturday right after and they told us we were basically stuck with it because of our credit. We never received a call back or our Sales Agreement (which we never signed) with our monthly payment or our terms or anything.

      I am rejecting this response because: We were NEVER disclosed the information in regards to the issue with the vehicle. I was forwarded the documents which included the *** ***. The hood literally bounces so much going down the highway it looks like it will fly open. I would think they would be concerned with customers safety. Trying to resolve the matter the general manager contacted me and was annoyed, had me on speaker phone and answered another call (I am assuming on his cell phone). Also, was told the sales person no longer works there. We discussed a resolution and took the car there after work on Wednesday (2/14) and left a note and also emailed the general manager with my concerns and that I would need to pick it up on Thursday after work to please let me know and to leave the keys in the car. They never called me. They called my husband and gave us pricing on parts. He told them they needed to contact me. I did not receive a call. I went to pick the car up Thursday around 6:30 and my car was no where around. I went inside and they had NO idea what I was talking about. They couldn't even find my car. A worker made some phone calls. I was there for a while waiting. I am sorry but this isn't how customers should be treated. I have never left a Complaint on BBB or anywhere else.

      I went to Hornbeck Chevrolet in *************** to find a new vehicle on November 29, 2023. After not having what I was looking for, they finally located one at ******* Chevrolet, trading a vehicle on their lot as an exchange. Two representatives of Hornbeck picked up my vehicle. They said the car was being detailed upon arrival. After spending two exhausting days at the dealership, It was getting dark & needed to get home to take care of my 88 yr. old father. I noticed dealership paper covering the ****************** side. I automatically thought the floor mats/liners were underneath. After looking under the paper & the trunk, there was nothing! I paid $295 for floor ************* were no where to be found. I called Hornbeck, they blamed *******. I called *******, they blamed Hornbeck. ***********************, ******* manager vehemently denied any accountability, telling me its not his problem since I did not purchase the vehicle directly from him. *******, from Hornbeck states shes left ************* has not returned her calls. Ive been calling both dealerships, but to no avail. I reached out to GMC/Chevy itself, speaking with ******* **************, she noted my concerns. Winter is upon us. I thought it would be a quick resolution, but it is almost two months now, so I had to purchase regular mats to keep my vehicle semi-clean. I also noticed that after they said the car was detailed, the glue from the stickers are still on the windows as well. Any additional questions, please feel free to contact me.       Back the end of July my car was totaled. I had bought the contract service and they sent the money to Hornbeck, Chevy $5000. Hornbeck, Chevy was supposed to send the money to ** ********* and pay off the rest of my loan then send the rest to me I have not received anything GM Financial keeps calling me. There has been a lot of money added to, my loan because it has not been paid. I’ve tried everything to try and get them to give me my money.

      We brought a van from them last year and got the extended warranty 2 weeks ago we took the car to the garage because coolant was getting into the engine they told us that the engine needs to be replaced so they put a claim into warranty now we keep getting a run around if they will replace it every time we call the garage or warranty company they keep telling us they are waiting on each other it's a 2018 van with only 42,000 miles on it

      I am in receipt of a letter from *********** Finance dated 3/17/2023 in which it states that Allan Hornbeck Chevrolet sent *********** Finance an application on my behalf. Heres the significant problem. I didnt visit or solicit Allan Hornbeck Chevrolet. I didnt shop their website. Ive never been to their location. I dont even know where their location is! I didnt inquire with anyone about purchasing a vehicle. I didnt give them my information to seek credit approval and most significant, I didnt give them authorization to run my credit for approval for any auto loan. In written form tell me legally how and why I have to put up with this invasion and inquiry and how it violates no State or Federal law. In your response make a point of signifying that I have no right to control my information or credit making decisions. Make a point to tell me how Allan Hornbeck Chevrolet has the right to make decisions regarding my credit for me in place of me. This is abhorrent, not only does this impact my score it remains on my credit report.

      I purchased a car on 1/28/2023. We were not able to take the car that day because it was not inspected. We were able to pick up the vehicle on the next day. We were told the car had been inspected and needed new tires which they had put on. We called them on 2/10/20203 to say the car had some smoke coming out of the exhaust when starting the vehicle. We were told we would get a callback. We finally heard back from them on 2/16/2023 and had an appointment on 2/22/2023 for them to look at the problem. We got snow on 2/22/2023 to see if we could bring the car the following day instead. They weren't able to take it until 2/24/2023. We were notified that it needed a new engine. We were told that it may or not be covered by warranty. It took two full weeks of calling Hornbeck and the warranty company to find the warranty would cover the cost of engine replacement. It took another week for the part to arrive. Horneck refused to give us a loaner vehicle. they stated warranty would pay $35 towards a rental per day. We expressed that we felt we should not be held responsible for any charge for the loaner since we were sold a car with a bad engine. Hornbeck disagreed. After a week of waiting for the part to arrive, they began work on 3/20/2023. We got a call that the catalytic converter was bad and also needed to be replaced. Again told it may or not be covered by warranty. We were notified it was but that we will have charges of $450.00. and we may get the car back next week. So we have owned the car for roughly 6 weeks and Hornbeck has had it about 4 of those weeks. They sold us a car with a bad engine and bad catalytic converter and are trying to charge us. We feel we should have been given a rental and not forced to borrow vehicles or pay over $2700 at this point for rental and we should not have any amount due. It is clear that we were sold a bad vehicle. A car isn't sold and inspected and has either let alone both of these parts go bad in less than two weeks.
