they came out set up to have a tub change to just shower everything was all set said would be 4 to 6 weeks I seen a commercial from west shore saying they can get it done in a month so I called the company to fine out when my shower would be done since they were adversting 30 days I was told my order had been canceled I was not informed about that I sign all the paper work and had the finance all done they said the finance fail through but no one called to tell me that I could have gotten the money if I would have had a choose very poor customer service I was really looking forward to having the shower for health reason :{West Shore Home, LLC

We apologize to Ms. E****** that we are unable to go through with her project. She was not able to obtain financing for the project. She also does not own the home she is in. It is West Shore Home policy that we only contract with the owner of the property.Review fromTara M

1 starWe received our consultation from west shore home in July/ August at which time we agreed on a price and materials and put down a deposit. Months went by and we had no communication, I contacted them in January/ February to inquire about our bathroom remodel, at which time I was informed that our order had been canceled for no contact but our deposit was not returned. A date was scheduled for our bathroom to be remodeled on February 20th. The service men were in our home for about 15 minutes before they let me know that they had broken my bathroom window. They proceeded to begin working on our bathroom but after about 8 hours they informed me that they would have to return the next day to finish the work, even through at the time of signing our contract they ensured us that it would be a one day job. They came back the next day to finish the job, but was told that our showers handles were not delivered and that we should contact customer service for the date of when they would come in. I contacted customer service and was told that the shower parts would be in on 3/2 and they would schedule the repairs to be completed on that date. I was also told that I should get a quote for them to repair my bathroom window. After waiting two weeks and contacting customer service several times, I was told that the shower parts were on back order and it may take a little longer. I continued to contact customer service for a few more weeks only for them to tell me that they were unaware that I was without shower doors, they thought I was without shower handles. I continued to ask about the repair of my bathroom window and kept getting the run around. They finally came and installed the shower doors in May without mentioning anything about my bathroom window. Since I allowed this company into my home, my bathroom doors remained off track, bathroom windows still broken, and shower leaking into my kitchen. I now need to repair my kitchen ceiling. Design Consultant, Jason K*** showed us different shower schemes We told him which two shower designs we liked. He gave us an initial quote of $29,174, we told him we could not afford that price. He said" I will do some number crunching came back with quote $19,174 we got a military discount, discount for buying that night and another discount". We agreed. I signed electronic agreement. He stated everything we were getting and the price of 19174 .Everything would be sent to my Email which he verified thrice I never received it. I found out the price was 29,174 days later when the finance co. texted me with the inflated price. My wife found the email in her spam folder marked No Reply. She did not sign any electronic documents and only mentioned her email once. After learning that we are charged the escalated price, Mr K*** got back with My wife and said the quote was 39,174 and he gave us a $10,000 discount to 29,174. After more research the average price of shower installation in South Carolina and Georgia is$ 8,680. Why would we agree to 29,174. He Lied and Cheated our family.West Shore Home, LLC

I deeply regret choosing this company! I live in the Upper Marlboro MD area. The West Home Shore Representative (Landon) arrived at my home for what ended in a 6-hour consultation. I literally dosed off in my recliner while he put the documents together for my signature, leaving with an estimated $5000 down deposit. Afterward, I observed a drastic decline in his customer service; Instead of calling about the mistake he'd made in the contract, Landon texted several times (with no greeting) pressuring me to re-sign to terms I had not agreed to in the initial contract. He even text me on a Sunday and when I informed him that I would conduct no business on my Sabbath day, he simply responded that I should make a decision quickly so he could move forward on things.
I received visits from two other vendors but elected to go with West Shore Home because of the one-day installation. Had I known I would be left feeling like an unvalued customer once I handed over my hard-earned money, I would have invested the patience in doing business with a reputable company that vets employees not only for criminal behavior but for their sincerity as well.
Lastly, I want to mention the difference in my and Landon's ethnic backgrounds. I am not sure if this was the root of the issue. However, I thought it was worth mentioning since he was so comfortable speaking to me in an unprofessional manner (via text). It poses the question, how many others has he treated this way?
My installation is scheduled for the end of July; I hope the end product will be the satisfaction I deserve and receive to compensate for such poor quality service from the beginning. West Shore Home please provide the training Landon needs to improve himself and the reputation of your organization. Having experienced excellent customer service for free products, spending thousands on a bathroom remodel, and receiving anything less than that is unacceptable!West Shore Home, LLC

1 starWest Shore Home came out to provide an estimate for a bathroom remodel. The process took almost two hours with all of the sales pitch. I advised them at the end that I had a more competitive quote and even shared the number with them. Salesperson calls the supervisor who I could hear having a meltdown on the phone. They contact me a day later to ask if a supervisor can come out to "tighten up the quote". I was very clear and advised Shauna that I did not want someone to revisit unless they could match or beat the price (which I gave her) and she assured me that was the case. Visit two is no more successful than visit one and they weren't within a few thousand of the quote I had. Called their customer line to lodge a complaint where I am now on hold and was on hold for twenty-five minutes while they "looked for a supervisor" (or wait for me to hang up) and then was disconnected. No respect for homeowners time or space. STAY AWAY!!Review fromTina S

3 starsTheir rep came to my house with the sales pitch sign now or you don’t get the discounts. So I signed bid mistake, they can say no installation fee but then the products really cost a lot. I wanted to take pictures as they went and they said no they would do that. To this day I still do not have the pictures. The installers not only cracked my wall but left my house a mess. The caulking job was horrible and blobs of caulk were left all over the tub the walls and the floor. About a week later they sent a very nice man to come fix all the errors that were visible on the surface. Because there are no progression pictures I have no idea what errors are underneath the tub. I really would not recommend them unless you have plenty of money and really need it finished in one day. Also the tub is deeper but also narrower which they don’t tell you.Review fromRichard J.

On the initial visit from West Shore, the representative stated, with WSH windows, they would guarantee, our electric bill would be half, the second visit, another representative told us that was wrong. Throughout the presentation he talked about the lifetime warranty and that it was transferable. I received a call from WSH, regarding. a window to be replaced, talking with the representative, I was informed it is a limited warranty,after the first year , I would have to pay, a service fee of 125 dollars and 75 dollars after . This was not explained ,nor,siad anyhting about, by Jack G****, the sells rep. Don't trust them to be wholly truthfulWest Shore Home, LLC

We sincerely apologize for any miscommunication with Mr. J******. He does indeed have a lifetime warranty on his windows, and a 1 year warranty on workmanship. 5 starsThe team lead by Johan with Ivan & Matt did a wonderful job. They arrived on time and worked continuously. They were respectful. They finished within the allotted time. 1 starOriginally, started with ******* *******. West Shore took over and they have terrible customer service. I have been trying for weeks to get a window repaired and all I get is someone will call me back. I know if I was planning on purchasing multiple windows, they would be calling back immediately. I would advise anyone thinking of dealing with them, go somewhere else. I had two houses done and ******* did them and now West Shore doesn’t to deal with past customers. Well, that’s fine because I do have additional houses that need windows but I will definitely not call them!!! BEWARE!!!!
