My grandmother is currently being over charged for a new bath tub installation and water heater. I spoke with the design consultant, Marci Uricola who was very rude and unprofessional. I asked her to send me a copy of the contract so I could see why my grandmother was being charged so much money for a small job. Marci told me that it was sent to my aunts email but my aunt was unable to find it. My grandmothers bathroom is very old and so is the plumbing. The plumbing is not included in the contract my grandmother is being overcharged for. My grandmother is 86 years old and does not understand what she paid for so these people of course are taking advantage of that. she’s also not knowledgeable when it comes to remolding bathrooms, replacing water heaters, plumbing ect. I tried to back out of the contract with Marci and she told me that the down payment was non refundable and on top of that the company would charge my grandmother a 35% restocking fee. My aunt then got on the phone and told her to proceed with the job because she didn’t want my grandmother to loose anymore money since she did sign a contract so she was at a lost either way. My husband is a contractor and tried to ask Marci what exactly was being done to the bathroom since the plumbing in the bathroom is corroded and needs to be redone. Marci then rudely asked my husband if he knew how to read. My husband didn’t want to argue with her so he just handed the phone back to my aunt. Companies like these should not be in business and it’s a shame that they take advantage of people.

I have waited since December 2022 for my windows to be fixed. They installed them December 14, and did a lot of damage to my home, and one of the windows is broken. The man they sent out last week was high on marijuana, and did not do the work, left his trash on my porch, urinated in my driveway! And did not do any work that was needing to be done. I have a broken window pane, damage to my tile in my bathroom around the window that they installed, damage to my bathroom, window and damage to my dining room window, and I have still been waiting for a phone call from them.

December 9, 2022 I agreed to have West Shore come in and replace my tub to a walk in shower. I was told by the Sales Rep that the special for me was 60 months interest free on my payments. I signed away. Now after 3/4 payments, I find out from the finance company that that is not my agreement. It is for 15 years at a high interest rate. I have no words for West Shore. I had a problem after the walk in shower was installed. I emailed the Sales Rep, and guess what, no response.

I honestly feel that once you sign and the work is completed, they totally ignore you when trying to reach them for questions and/or concerns.

I will NOT recommend West Shore to anyone!

While we do apologize to Ms. O***** for her frustrations, there is definitely further detail and explanation. Ms. O***** had to agree to her loan terms independently with her lender. West Shore Home is not a lender, and did not provide the terms of her loan. She agreed to, and signed for, those terms with that 3rd party lender.

I used west shore home to renovate my bathroom shower. They first to a long time to start. Yes they did the renovations in 1 day. The problem I have with them is they say there is no interest for 12 months. They charged us interest from the first bill. Just a total rip off when it comes to saving. There was no saving.it was actually more because they charged interest from the beginning.
      Stay away.

We understand Ms. Abraham's frustration but West Shore Home does not finance projects in-house, nor do we charge a customer interest. Ms. Abraham has a loan with a third party lender and the terms of that loan were agreed on between Ms. Abraham and the lending company. If Ms. Abraham has an issue with the terms of her financing she will have to work with her lending company to address them.

i contacted West shore for a free quote on my bathroom, i told the sales rep that i wanted to take out the tub to make it a walk in shower. I also told him i wanted them to remove a wall to enlarge the shower. He told me they could do that, i would just have to build the other side of the wall. i was completely fine with that due to me being handy and renovating my own house little by little. When i was time to go over the specks he verbally went over the contract and talked about pushing the wall back 12 inches as discussed. i then signed the contract. I was contacted the day after for an install date but never the Pre-installation Appt to go over the project. Install day came and the workers went over what was in the work order, and immediately i told them it wasnt right and how they were supposed to be pushing the wall back. They said it wasnt in the order. I got ahold of my sales rep and he stated that he thought he talked me out of it because he told me at the time of the quote. "No one stands that far from the shower head." I told him i never agreed to not move the wall back. I was then put in contact with a Supervisor who "reworked" the numbers and put in what i originally requested and said it would be an additional 8K. Outrageous! He then stated to me that it was going to look so good he would put pictures of my shower in their portfolio. I then received multiple calls and a text from westshore employees. I finally told them i wanted to cancel due to them pressuring me and them making multiple mistakes, that they never apologized for. They then sent the same supervisor to my house to "cancel" but he really pressured me to complete the project. I told him no and then told me i owed them 35% of the original amount because it was past the 3 day mark. once again Outrageous! no work was done that they are not honest about anything. Im a single mom and veteran who took on a second job for this project. If i was a man would things turned out different? STAY AWAY!

I askedWest Shore to come and provide estimates on 2 bathroom shower installations. Salesman quoted for a single 30x60 shower base, acrylic surround, black diverter and handholds and glass door. Included demo, cleanup and 12 month labor and material guarantee...$17,000! 2 workers complete in one day. That is outrageous! A complete waste of my time and a scam for the uninformed. Stay away.

My wife and I recently had our walk in shower installed. The installers were terrific with excellent skills and terrific customer service. We are very happy with the end result.
However, looking back on the experience, we realized that we were "strong-armed" into making the purchase: "This offer is only good for tonight." Due to our ignorance, we signed the sales agreement. After doing much research, we discovered that we way overpaid for what we received. Curious as to the breakdown of the cost, I emailed our sales person, two or three times, requesting an itemized invoice of what we received. He never responded to my requests. Nothing. This has been very disappointing in that he seemed to be genuine and we thought, cared about giving us the best deal. Never trust a salesman for the best deal? As previously stated, we were ingnorant and should have done the research prior to meeting with him. Called customer service and spoke to a very nice young man who said he would investigate and get back to us in a day or two. Never happened. We are still wondering about the breakdown cost to the $15,700 shower we had installed.

Impact windows were partially installed 12/31/22. One window was defective (cracked). Supervisor took photos and stated replacement would be ordered asap. After having roof repair on 1/18/2023 , West Shore crew came out 1/27/23. They finished exterior, but did not have replacement window to finish job and order inspection. The foreman would not leave without final payment.
The job IS NOT complete but the office supervisor insisted, so we paid. We made f/u call early February and the Cust. Svc. rep requested we take photos and text. Several days later we were advised the window would not arrive until 3/24, Apparently it was never ordered!!! Our room has not been usable for 3 mos. and we have vertical blinds laying on the floor which is a tripping hazard. We are very disappointed for the demand of final payment when the job is not complete, the length of time, and lack of service.

West Shore Homes came out to our home in Rineyville, KY. We have an updated and recently renovated home, about 3000 sq ft, so we are VERY on track and up to speed on cost, time, and handling contractors. We have a 36 x 36” walk in shower that we were interested in letting West Shore take care of because of their quick installation. West Shore came out and gave us their sales pitch with multiple options and price points. We decided on some of the least expensive options and continued to tell the gentleman our plans, timeline, and budget. The representative took up 3+ hours of our time only to tell us the install with discounts, including military because we’re dual retired Military and Department of Defense, would be $14000+. My husband was number one recruiter in the entire US 3 times over his career in the Army that included 5 active tours, so he knows sales. My husband told the representative multiple times he was aware of the sales tactics, but this is what we were looking for. We finally had to ask him to leave because he just kept trying to up sale us after being told $14000 was not only out of budget, but was a ridiculous estimate. Terrible experience. Their A+ rating is confusing. Do not waste your time.
