      I have been with this bank for at least ten years. Their overall system allows them to be shady. They are the worst at customer service and make it nearly impossible to talk to anyone when something is wrong with your account. I have spent three hours on hold just trying to get through to report sus activity on my debit card. Not only that it is impossible to contact anyone for customer service on weekends or evenings. Fulton bank has been locking me out of my accounts without any explanation and it is impossible to sign back in without calling them. I have zero trust for them as money has disappeared or been on hold for a week. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. Don't bank here! I have had terrible experiences, as well as friends of mine, have had money vanish without a trail after deposit.

      We have a construction loan with the bank to build our home. We have had a terrible experience with the bank, Buzz E**** and Judy G******* in Richmond, VA. They have refused to send us monthly statements but we are required to make interest only payments. I have to guess how much to pay each month. They refuse to send me a statement showing how my payments are being applied to interest and principle. We moved into our home almost 2 months ago and still can't get any information.

      Worst bank me and my husband has ever dealt with! Got a car loan with this bank, and when I try to make a payment the representative tells me I can't because someone enter my birthday wrong. So is there any other way to identify me, she tells me no. This is Unreal! So I can't pay my car note because this bank has no other method to identify me. Other banks have other methods. Social security, mothers maiden name, exact amount of car payment.
      No she tells me. Ok does this bank have a portal so I can make payments online, no she tells me only if you have an account with us.
      So if my husband calls and gives me authorization will that be good enough, she saides yes. Next day I call with my husband to make my loan payment and the representative tells him no you can't put her as an authorized user cause her birthday is wrong. But he saides I'm telling you it's my wife, still the same issue. So in order to fix this I have to go to the bank with ID mind you I live in another state. There's no verification method with them and no online payment. Moving foward they call my husband saying I'm impersonating him to make my own car payment. What a joke?? horrible bank!

      Messed up my mortgage payments with their new autodraft system and after 3 months of back and forth I continue to have issues and was double charged an entire month of mortgage without return. Despite sending many messages and phonecalls and annotated documents to help figure this out, this bank continues to leave my messages unresponded to. Basically stealing money from me at this point.
      0/5 stars for their lack of competence. The representatives at least have always been lovely humans.

      My experience is the same horrible experience as everyone else. Fulton has the worst customer service, seems intentionally set up to prevent customers from talking to a real person. Even when you get through to a real person, they dump you back in their system. They do not return phone calls, to the local branch or the 800 number. They tell me it takes up to 30 days to reply to my complaint about fees, meanwhile they keep assessing the fees. AVOID THIS BANK!!!
