I am rating a four because I am still nervous about this journey. But I have loved century so far. I was just informed at the beginning that they dont wait for summons but we got one. And my understanding was they negotiate with the creditors and thats why we make payments. But my understanding now that I have talked to some representatives they say well we cant do anything yet because you need to build the account back. I thought they negated and thats why we keep paying even though get something worked out and if its done on payments that the account would stiff have available. I love every person we have talked too. But just confused on how the settlements really work because it sounds like they arent gonna work with anyone else. That was not my understanding at the start. You need more help for staff. I just pray we dont have to go to court or dont get another summons. We will rate better if things go smooth and calms down some. As ***** explained, when you enrolled into your program a plan was created to address all of your enrolled accounts over an estimated program length. While settlements can happen at any time, it does depend on a few factors, including your monthly deposit amount, the number of creditors you have enrolled & the balance of each individual account. At this time, you are just 4 months into your program and Century has been able to negotiate favorable settlements on 2 of your enrolled debts. Congratulation on this early success.We have over 20 years of experience in the debt settlement industry with proven strategies on the best timing for contact with creditors. If we contact a creditor without adequate funds available to enter into negotiations, it may result in more aggressive collection tactics by the creditor or possible escalation of their collection workflow. Century does not claim to prevent a creditor from escalated collection attempts; however, in the event a creditor takes legal action against a client, be assured that Century still attempts to work with the law firm to establish a favorable settlement. Make sure you read all the fine print, the base of the business is to have you go delinquent on your current debt or creditors. Then once creditors starting coming at you for collections or charge off accounts, that is when Century will start attempting settlements on your debt/accounts. My credit took a huge hit, even when the accounts are settled it still shows the late payments and charge off verbiage. I have filed many disputes on each credit reporting account with proper documentation and still no improvement. Make sure you do your homework, and when you get settlement proposals look at the settlement fee they are charging.Century Support Services, LLC

Centurys debt relief option of debt settlement is a hardship program designed for clients in a verifiable state of financial hardship. You are correct that creditors engaging into negotiations to accept less than the full balance owed is typically determined on the delinquency of that debt. Most clients entering into this program are already struggling to keep up with their debt to income ratio & making consistent minimum monthly payments is a struggle. Prior to entering your program, you were presented with a Debt Settlement Agreement (contract) that outlines your program in detail. There is no fine print to our contract and we are very transparent on how the program works as well as all cost to you. We created a strategic plan for you based on the amount of debt you enrolled and the monthly amount you deposit into your ************ went to work for you immediately- achieving favorable settlements on 2 of your enrolled accounts in your first 30 days on the program. To date, you are 16 months in to your estimated 48 month journey and we have successfully negotiated favorable settlements on 9 of your 18 originally enrolled accounts. The earned settlement fee for each account is outlined in your contract as well as reviewed with you during each settlement proposed to you. We do not earn our settlement fee until we have shown you value. Once we negotiate the debt, you approve the settlement & the first payment is initiated to the creditor on your behalf, only then have we earned our fee. While our contract states that our fee is due in full, we elected to spread out that fee into several payments on most of your settlements so that you could take advantage of the settlement opportunities presented by your creditors. In fact, we even deferred our fee for over a year on a few accounts. This was a courtesy we extended to you to help assist you in achieving your goals on this program. Our program focus is to help you resolve your debt. We are not a credit repair company nor do we have control on how your creditors update the credit bureaus. Our mission is to resolve your delinquent debts, and we did that successfully. We are confident that had you stayed on course with the strategy on the remainder of your active accounts that your program would have continued to be successful and completed on time. I am almost 3/4 into my program. Be aware that Century takes their commission 1st. They did negotiate four of my accounts and paid off one. But the remaining accounts are being paid off very slowly. I have 14 months to go and only $60 has been paid to accounts that have balances that add up to about $5k. At this pace my remaining 3 accounts will not be paid upon completion of my program. I am too far into the program to withdraw at this point. I truly hope the remaining payments greatly accelerate the amounts of my remaining balances.Century Support Services, LLC

I have always received professional courtesy from the people I have spoken with. My biggest concern right now is the amount of money I agreed to. I just can't afford that amount. I have asked and received the lower amount which I appreciate. I also understand that the negotiations are based on the amount I agreed to, but that doesn't negate the fact that I have no money left in my checking account as of right now. Which is the middle of the month. Because of this I can't take my medication as prescribed.
