Our internet has been out for four days and the company is offering little to no support to me as the customer. We have called multiple times and they always say we can do a reset or unplug it and plug it back in they seem to be uninterested in providing the services they guarantee. My internet service through Zito Media has been unusable starting December 23rd. I have made serval calls and chats about my service all they keep telling me is that there is a general maintenance that needs scheduled. At first, I heard a general outage message but that has now been cleared according to Zito. On 12/28 I called in and asked to speak to supervisor about my issue. Apparently, a supervisor was not present, and I was told someone would call me back within 48 hours. (Which is a ridiculous amount of time just to receive a call back) I chatted into Zito via text message from another location and the agent again told me there was a general maintenance on going for a “***” I am on. I am still waiting for a call back from the supervisor but at this point in time I don’t feel very confident that the issue is being worked. They told me several times that it’s not a “outage” but it sure feels like that to me. I can’t use my home phone (because its VOIP), I work from home and can’t do that without the internet. To date, Zito has not been able to provide me an estimated time of restore nor do I even know when the “general maintenance” is scheduled to being or be completed.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:I did receive a call from Teddi and I returned the call about 45 minutes later. Unfortunately there was not a direct way to reach Teddi. (The rep asked if she left her extension number.. but she did not) The number that was provided as the callback number was a generic number to their IVR which 9 times out of 10 routes to 3rd party call center (offshore). The rep who answered it treated it as a normal support call and started to troubleshoot my line even though I tried to explain that I was returning Teddi's call.
I was finally able to communicate that I needed transferred to the local office. Once I got there, I did speak to someone who attempted to get in touch with Teddi but they advised she was not in the office today and must have made the call from home. They advised there was no way to transfer the call to Teddi so I could not even leave a message / voice mail. I asked the rep to send Teddi an email advising that I returned her call and to try to give me a call again. I should not need to spend 20-40 minutes of explaining to someone that I am simply trying to return a call.
That rep also noticed 10 to 15 customers offline and was going to submit something to maintenance. I advised that it was my understanding that there was already an ongoing maintenance issue to resolve the noise issues on this specific cable run.
My internet service was restored on Jan 3rd but I still drop packets from time to time. Each time I call they say my line has terrible noise margins which impacts my upload speed and overall latency. I just wanted to talk to someone who could confirm in fact that work was being done to fix the issue once and for all.

We have been with Zito Media for 3-4 years in Kuttawa, KY. Why we have endured constant outages is beyond me, Their service cannot be over 60% reliability!! We have been without service for almost a month. Zito’s sent tech support out and they indicated the issue was in outside service and they would dispatch a different line technician. The service came back up for less than a day and went down again. After, back and forth discussions with technical support located in India we got back on line.Business Response

Looking into the account I can see that ***** or his wife spoke to on of our customer service agents on 12/15. Our agent advised the ******* that in order to address the service issues we would need someone to be home to address the service issues that are being reported. Our agent however did give credit for the prior days the ******* were out of service. Based on the ******* statement during the phone call with our agent, it is unclear if they would like to discuss a time to investigate the issues further or if they simply just want credit for the modem being offline. Per our phone conversation today, I have reached out again to Zitos media this afternoon and contacted ********************************* who was not available for the call. I talked to a customer service representative who referred to himself as ************* is coordinating the Escalation department to contact me. I will update you when I have additional information.
As mentioned, we will be filing a complaint with the FCC and asking congressional committee review of Zito’s Media. We believe Zito’s Media continues to publish service levels and performance which is significantly less than advertised and reliability only meeting 60% of the time.

Internet service to us has been out for 18 DAYS and still is. Whenever I call I am told a technician is aware. I would like the technician to actually FIX it! started working from home in April and have had outages every month & have had to have a technician out more than 3 times to work on issues outside of my home that affects my service inside my home. There customer service is horrible & all they do is read from a book. Right now I’m missing a whole days worth of work which could cause me my job. They cannot even give me a time when it may be back up. They should have records of every single one of my phone calls to them….which is a lot. Today I spoke to someone in Florida and I’m in PA. I continue to have issues. I lost a days worth of work last week again. When I called their customer service…I was hung up on twice. I called back and asked for a supervisor and was refused. They would not let me talk to anyone higher up or even have them call me. I asked many times, 50 or more times and was refused this request. They were scripted throughout the 45 minute call. Also, I wrote in to them from their web site & asked for a supervisor to call me back and for a refund of money for services not received and I have not received a response.

This company bought out our local cable company and since the switch the internet cuts in and out randomly, internet speeds haven’t been as advertised and the local office has been shut down for months now. I don’t have a way to pay my bill in person and I refuse to setup online payments because this company is known for robbing people. I was no call no showed 10 times by the technicians before anyone ever showed up at my house to work on my exposed cable line. I’ve lost money due to not being able to access internet at my home office. I have experienced issues with Zito media "High speed" internet service for over a year now with slow to no internet service. Numerous phone calls and router resets and different settings by their support people. For the last few months, I have been told that they need to perform maintenance on their service and I will be trouble free with no glitches, or drops and faster service. When it works, I am fine with it as it is the best option we have.....when it works. I most recently began getting emails telling me about an increase in speed. When I called about getting that, was told I already had it and would see an increase in speed, after what? The maintenance. My complaint is they have known their equipment and service in our area is subpar at best and yet have charged me month after month for the internet speed I am not getting and they know I haven't and won't until they do the "maintenance."I would like to know when this "maintenance" is scheduled to take place so that I can get the service I continue to pay for. This type of disconnect only disables your service until payment is made, it does not disconnect the account so with that being said the billing does not stop while on a soft disconnect. However I can see that you returned the modem on 10/15 which would qualify as requesting to be disconnected so I did credit back to 10/15 for your disconnect date. The current account balance is now $777.15.

I am rejecting this response because: I have been waiting since July 2022 received an updated, correct bill. According to all my bank statements for the past 3 years I sent Zito Media, I was paid up until July 2022, when Zito took over from ******* ***********. I was disconnected 9/15/2022 because my bill was in dispute and i was not going to pay something i did not owe. It was again disconnected in mid October 2022 when I returned my modem and demanded they stop my service. So i owe for July and August 2022 and the first half of Septemver 2022 which amounts to $486.Regards,YOU GAVE ME A " SOFT DISCONNECT" BUT THAT IS STILL A DISCONNECT AND I AM NOT OAYI G FOR SERVICES I AM NOT GETTING.

I live in southeastern KY and have no other options regarding service providers. I constantly have issues with my service and have called multiple times for assistance. In the month of October until today, I have had 4 work orders opened and still no resolution. At first I was told the tech would do reset the signal, then it was a maintenance order, the issue still wasn't resolved, then another work order was scheduled for Tuesday November 1st was told the tech canceled m, and now I have to wait another week until November 8th. A tech has never checked my modem, line, cable at my home, I work from home and most days its nearly impossible to do. I've had internet for 5-9 hours a day over the last 2 weeks (if I'm lucky), and the only answer I keep getting is "we're aware there's a service issue, and our techs are working on it. Please allow ***** hours for this to be resolved." The issue I have is there's been a problem for months in this area, but it has only recently gotten much worse. This is a response to follow up for complaint # ********.We do apologize for the issues ********************* has been having with Zito Media. We reached out to the customer in regards to these issues. We sent out our service technician out and he found that there is high transmit levels off the tap so we turned the work order over to our maintenance technician to go out and take care of this issue. We will continue to work with **** until these issues are resolved.
