      I ordered earrings online as a gift at Christmas. They came in broken and when I attempted to return them in the store was told not to, and I would have to use an envelope being sent to me... Envelope never appeared, I tried calling in 2 times to follow up but after being on hold for over 30-1 hour gave up both times. Recently placed an online order for a dress and it came back canceled. I thought I hit the button wrong so I re-ordered it.. Went to follow up to see when it would arrive and saw it too was canceled. After 2 phone calls, (both waiting for over 20 minutes to talk to someone) found out that because I had never returned the earrings my account had a hold on it. One that I had never been communicated about despite my best attempts at making it right. Also found out that because it was after 4 pm there was no way to receive my dress in time for the event I was planning on it for. I live in a rural mountain area and have no way other than online ordering to get nicer things. The way that Anthropologie set up their online ordering operationally, sets them and their customers up for failure.

      Terrible Customer Service
      I ordered four items from Anthropologie. Firstly, everything is completely overpriced and low quality here. Secondly, after paying for shipping my order was lost. I finally found it going to the WRONG LOCATION. I couldn't change the final destination and I spent half a day trying to change the address. I talked to a manager at Anthropologie who assured me the address was changed. The address was never changed, and nothing could be done to resolve the issue, according to the company. It was constantly pass the buck whether it be talk to the shipping carrier or contact the sister store. Finally, the items were sent out in FOUR separate boxes. Use a different service like Nordstroms Rack, BCBG, Free People, or Zara.

      Anthropologie.com uses Lasrship delivery service company that drops packages in unsecured locations. When I called Anthropologie to notify them their shipper wasn't delivering packages to the provided address, wasn't following delivery shipping notes, and left the orders in unsecured areas and showed them photos as proof, they said they didn't care and would not refund the money.

      I disputed the charges with my creditor, and they couldn't get a refund from their bank. However, my creditor gave a courtesy credit regardless.

      Be aware! Anthropologie doesn't care if you receive your item. They will not change their shipper. They will continue to ship as long as it's within their $ loss, and they will provide a refund. If the items are above their $ amount, they won't refund.

      If you have a good bank, the bank will credit you. But not this store. It sucks if you like their items, but their business tactics are wrong.

      Anthropologie! You must use a reliable delivery service, listen to your customers, and care enough to deliver your items to the client. And if the items are dropped in another place, you have to take responsibility.

      I have a wedding to attend on 04/21 and ordered different sizes of a pink dress that I really liked. Each time the incorrect size was sent. How hard is it to send the correct size? smh. Now the wedding is 2 days away and I don’t have anything to wear. I tried calling customer service and they were just as useless. I give up.

      I am extremely upset and will no longer be ordering from this store. I am done. This is the THIRD time in less than a year I have ordered something on sale, received the incorrect item, then went to REPURCHASE what I had originally ordered, and it was sold out. Customer service was no help and said something to the effect of "sorry too bad, nothing I can do". So where do I turn to actually get my complaint heard? Because this is NOT OKAY. I am done with Anthropologie.

      They sent a dress with fabric tears and only offered 20% off. I countered with an amount I was willing to pay as it cannot be resold. They agreed in writing so I kept the dress. Then, they only refunded the 20%. They continue to emails asking me to again state the problem and I keep sending the agreement from their agents and they have yet to refund my money. Will never order from them again. Total scam

      Awful Product & Awful Customer Service. I ordered Iris Dining table in February of 2022. It took about 8 weeks to arrive. The first table was considerably damaged so I refused it. The 2nd table came about 8 weeks later. It was damaged but not as bad and not as visable to the eye w/out inspection. The delivery man suggested I call them while they wait so I did. Anthropologie said they do not repair any furniture. She suggested she'd refund shipping if I kept the table. I thought fine since you couldn't see the flaws unless you lean and look on bottom edge. Well we're in in March of 2023 and the table is cracking. One part is near the edge and has crack along grain and the worse is on edge and separating. I called Anthropoligie and they said my accepting free shipping "implied as is" I argued and said "as is" was with dents on edge, not major cracking is disintegrating $1,200 table. They refused to work with me in any way. NEVER BUY THEIR FURNITURE!!!!!!!!

      Huge disappointment, disrespectful and uncaring brand.
      I have been a fan of Anthropologie's design and ordered from them in early March for a formal dress for an important ball in DC in early April. The dress was in back order and indicated to be shipped in mid March. When I made the order I specifically went into a store and wanted to know more about backorder (I also tried to get a more accurate size for the order - a simple task became a complicated disaster but it is another story). The staff told me that it is GUARANTED that it will be shipped on time and everything will be taken care of. With how much the dress cost I trusted Anthropologie. However today I received an email that the dress is further delayed. The email was also written in a ridiculous manner - only in the title it says "we're running a little behind..." and once you click in it is just more shopping information of "you may also like...", not a single line giving more details regarding the new delivery date or anything, indicating their top-down uncaring, unprofessional customer services. I contacted customer service online and asked for a real person, who talked in the same manner as a robot and GUARANTEED again that the dress will be shipped on the new date. I then called customer service to confirm, and they said that they have no control over things on backorder and have no information on anything. Really confusing. Not a single sincere apology, only cursory stuff. I feel very slighted and stupid that I chose Anthropologie for something that important for me. Never again.

      Their customer service is a joke.
      I ordered a pair of ear rings for Valentine's Day. They botched the delivery, and sent the item back to their warehouse when it was within an hour of my home.
      They then proceeded to tell me the item was backordered and there was nothing they could do. They would not deliver the item I paid for, which was an hour from my home. I went as far as cancelling my order, and ordering the same item a second time, after verifying delivery with the customer service representative.
      I spoke with their Customer Service Supervisors on 3 different occasions and was assured they would make it right, and deliver the item within two weeks, considering it is for our wedding in March.
      A week went by, I called to check on the status of delivery. They tell me they are sorry but there is nothing they can do, and the item will not be shipped for another two months.
      4 different calls, 3 different supervisors, all made a false commitment to their customer. I will never purchase from this company again.
      Anthropologie makes AT&T customer service look good. (If that tells you anything)

      Purchased a about $150. In goods and received two towels and treated like I was trying to steal from them.
      Ordered a coat with a big discount then told it was out of stock and wouldn’t be
      Offered, next day back on sale area of anthropology (online) and at a higher price.
      What a outfit, run by incompetents. This company wraps clothing in tissue with tape, how do you stick two dishtowels in the bag instead of clothing.
