Settlement records online show a 15.18$ payment for the similar amount of claim of 10 products that was made. Please provide the remaining 50% payment due to me

I am part of the class action *************************** *** ******. My Claim ID is **********. I duly completed the form confirming how a payment of US$ 251.83 due to me should be settled, providing details of a US bank account in to which the money should de deposited. My Payment Confirmation Code is ************.However on 23 August I received an email from a company called **** saying they wanted to make payment to my UK bank account. I pointed out that I had already given my US account information to Angeion Group. **** then advised me that Angeion had cancelled the original payment instructions and that I should contact them directly to rearrange a payment of the money due. I contacted Angeion through their website on 2 October in this regard and they responded on 5 October saying the matter has been passed to the Project Support Department and an Associate would review the matter and reach out accordingly. I have sent reminders and despite many weeks having passed have heard nothing whatsoever. I assume this is just poor administration and that Angeion do not deliberately retain money which has been awarded to parties involved in a class action. However the length of time that is needed to deal with a very simple matter reflects very poorly on this company.Customer Answer

I was recently a represented by the Law Office of ************************* regarding a claim against **** Wireless and a settlement of $56.66 was negotiated by the law firm and the Angeion Group was due to process the payment. I emailed my signed acceptance letter to the Angeion Group on August 4, 2023. On August 17, 2023 I received an email reply stating "This email confirms receipt of your Confidential Claim Release Form. Your submission will be reviewed.". On August 24, 2023 I received another email from Angeion stating "We have received your Confidential Claim Release Form and can confirm your submission has been completed with no further action necessary. Please contact us if you have any further questions." On October 17, I emailed Angeion asking when I would be receiving my check. On October 18, 2023, I received a reply stating only, "Your claim has been accepted as complete and payment is in process." No name from any representative from Angeion was in the email. On November 7, 2023, I emailed Angeion again and asked for a date when my check would be mailed. On November 8, 2023, I received the EXACT SAME RESPONSE VERBATIM, "Your claim has been accepted as complete and payment is in process.". Again with no name of a representative. I emailed Angeion back the same day asking for a date the check would be mailed and received no response. I am mainly concerned as this process has been going on three months. I am further concerned because the Law Firm of *************************, in a previous email stated both "Unfortunately there have been a number of issues with the administration process due to the third-party administrator Angeion Group.", and "Due to the many issues that have been solely caused due to Angeion Group's incompetence, the deadline to return your completed individual settlement claim form has been extended to Tuesday November 7, 2023."Business Response

Their role was to be the formal Claims Administrator and facilitate the release documentation process which they did not do very well." Since so much time has passed, this case is winding down. Your check is marked for reissue but at this time we are unsure if the courts will allow a reissue. I am still waiting for my $40,324.41 class action settlement. It has been over a year. After the first check, I had to send an affadavit. I created a complaint and they seemed responsive, but I never received a check. I'm attaching some of the correspondence. This compliant is directly against Angeion Group for negligence of the administration of the settlement for **** ******* *******. I never got the check for the settlement for $20 issued in March 18, 2022. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Emailed admin on April 5, 2022 asking for check.-----Emailed again admin on May 26, 2022 asking again for my check.-----Angeion responded on June 2, 2022 and "We will send you a new check in the mail soon." -----Emailed again admin on August 16, 2022 telling them no check had come, no response.-----Emailed again admin on August 27, 2022 telling them no check had come, no response.-----Called Angeion on September 8, 2022 directed to ****** by ******, left vmail no response.-----Called Angeion on September 9, 2022 directed to manager of case by ******, left vmail no response.-----Called Angeion on September 19, 2022 got ****** on the phone, he said it would be mailed soon, no resolution.-----Called Angeion on January 10, 2023, gave ****** my phone number, no on called me back.-----Called Angeion on March 22, 2023, talked to ******, she said that check would be sent soon.------------------------------------------I finally got the check in **** after 10 plus attempts through the course of the year. Which is ridiculous and negligent on Angeion's part. When I deposited the check it bounced and I incurred a bank charge of $45. I called Angeion in June 2023 and the manager ***** was willing to do nothing, take no responsibility for stringing me along for a year and wasting my time and when I expressed this he hung up the phone. When I called Angeion in July the another manager ***** again took no accountability and started to conveniently blame the courts for their dysfunction and took zero accountability after she didn't even return vmails from two weeks and made up another lie why. Everything was under your control, what you are saying is completely false. You had 1 year to send me my reissue check. Over and over your clueless case managers throughout 2022 ignored my emails/calls. Had they actually sent out my check in Sept 2022 like they lied to me then we wouldn't be in this situation. Instead your inept PM decided to send it out when the court wanted to close the case and account and by the time I got it in snail mail the time had expired to deposit the check. This has nothing to do with the courts it has 100% to do with your company's terrible customer service provided by your employees that are slow, lazy and disorganized to do anything in a timely manner.Initial Complaint

This company does not answer phone calls and they have not responded to any of my emails, nor have they kept the settlement website up to date. I am having an issue with The Angeion Group located in Philadelphia. They are the administrators of The *********** Settlement Fund which I am a part of. They issued me 7 checks for approximately 1200 dollars that I received in September 2022. I deposited them into my ***** account. ***** would not honor them because they couldn't verify them with Angeion due to that fact that Angeion had been delisted from ***** *****. So ***** closed my account and sent the funds back to Angeion by the beginning of October 2022. I have made repeated calls to Angeion every couple of weeks since and left multiple voicemails with the office manager ****** and also at least 10 with my actual claims administrator there for my Fund. The administrator never returns my calls. All I would like is for my checks to be reissued or the funds be direct deposited into a new account I have. The 7 check numbers issued from the Fund are ******, ******, ******, ******, ******, ******, and ******.Business Response

The checks were mobile deposited to my ***** account in September of last year. ***** froze the funds and locked the account until they closed the account at the end of September and returned the funds from those checks back to the *********** settlement fund. So I am still owed all of those funds because I did not receive them, they were returned because chase could not verify them with angeion.

I am rejecting this response because: ***** has insisted they returned these funds at the end of September 2022. They accepted the initial mobile deposit of the funds to my account, then never released them to me. Upon closing my account, they sent an ACH of the full amount of the funds back to Angeions issuing bank. I will go tomorrow and get a letter and further paperwork from chase.
