I initiated my Visa Screen process (worth $700) on July 30th, 2023, and since then, I have provided all the requested documents. According to CGFNS guidelines, the company is expected to reflect received documents in the system and provide additional requests within 15 days. Unfortunately, my experience has been entirely different. There have been multiple instances where CGFNS repeatedly sent the same requests to my medical university, the Medical University of *********, and my licensing institutions without acknowledging the responses in their mailbox. Despite my consistent efforts to provide proof of the sent emails, the issue persists, and the last set of required documents, sent on December 14th and 22nd, have not been reflected in the system. I have diligently communicated my concerns and requested updates, but the responses I have received so far are not valid answers, and they do not address the core issues. As a result, the entire process has already exceeded six months, and it is disconcerting that there seems to be a lack of progress in my application. I really need to receive this document because I am looking for a job in USA and it takes too much time

I assigned CGFNS to evaluate my nursing degree from *******. In August 2023 I was informed that my application was ready for review after they received all the necessary documentation. Beginning of October 2023 I sent them an inquiry about the status of my application where I was informed that they need a RFA (Request of Assistance) from the licensing authority to verify a signature which they wanted to take care of. They told me the signature received does not match their online database. In November 2023 I sent them another request for a status update and was told they are still waiting for a RFA response to move forward. On December 11th 2023 CGFNS contacted me to let me know that they are preparing to send a RFA to the licensing authority in ******* which was done on December 28th 2023. January 5th I received a letter from CGFNS stating that they have sent an Email and postal letter to the licensing authority in ******* but have not heard back yet. They also stated that they want me now to contact the licensing authority to find out if the Email ended up in the spam/junk folder and take care of the whole issue. I am frustrated with their service. Months have passed and nothing has been done. This has been going on since October 2023 now and I want them to finish the evaluation. I hope you can help me with this issue. Thank you.

A payment was provided to CFGNS on 08 Feb, 2023 for the VisaScreen: Visa Credentials Assessment (VS) - VisaScreen Application, after an exhaustive amount of back and forth 9 out of 10 requirements were reviewed and verified as authentic by 13 Nov, 2023. On 13th Nov, 2023 a document (again original) was received by CGFNS but despite several correspondences and phone calls the Agents have been nonchalant and dismissive, the document has not been reviewed to date despite and entire two Calendar months having elapsed since it was received, there has been no valid reason why my authentic document has not been verified and it is my suspicion they are dragging out the process to force me to provide additional monies. It should be noted all my documents sent to CGFNS have always been authentic and provide by the source but they looked to find issues with them which did not exist to begin with cause me a tremendous amount of stress. They are trying to use me to do their job which is to keep their information current. Customers must not be punished for their incompetence! A simple initiative like sending a correspondence to companies annually for updated information would make all the difference but for CGFNS it is easier to put that strain on Applicants so that time runs out forcing them to pay more money. I have a signed job offer and CFGNS is putting so much strain on my offer that I am fearful I will loose the same as a result of their incompetence. CGFNS is the WORST evaluation company I have every had the displeasure of working with and I have done numerous evaluations in different jurisdictions in the past.

Yesterday was the ** International Migrants Day, which the CGFNS claims to celebrate, yet I am here facing every obstacle possible since I started my application on 14/8/2023. My order number is *******, I’m a medical laboratory scientist from *****, I have my ASCPi ( MLS ), and my college degree of bachelor Medical laboratory sciences in Clinical Chemistry which has been sent from the data flow group as the Cgfns finally stated on 13/10/2023 that they will accept any documents from data flow, and based on the Cgfns website and I quote “ an applicant is eligible for visa screen certificate as a medical laboratory technologist if they meet the following criteria First track : * earn a bachelor's degree in medical technology or a related science field ( e.g biochemistry, biology, chemistry ) * have certification as an international medical laboratory scientist with ASCP That’s why I see that i should've had my visa screen by now because I meet all the requirements on the website. Yet my evaluator keeps asking me to fill out their form, I stated multiple and multiple times that it's not possible at due to the ongoing war in ***** since 15/4/2023, and I can’t fathom why the breakdown of the clinical hours are so important in my special situation because on the website they only stated two factors for the first track which I meet. Additionally, my colleague is in the same boat as me, and she got her visa screen last week and her case is similar to mine. The feeling I got from the staff in calls and emails in the CGFNS was disappointing and frustrating except for one or two employees, and they just can’t or don't want to understand how bad the situation is in ***** which resulted in the deteriorating of my mental health. in the last months all I wanted was to get my visa screen so I can move to the United States and start helping my family in *****.

Hello, My name is ************************* do **********, my CGFNS Id Number is ******* and my Order Number is *******. I've contracted the CGFNS to validate my college degree in USA, for Registered Nurse. I applied for CGFNS professional CES report on the April, 2023. All documents were delivered by post in May, 2023. The review of my document started in approximately 4 months later, but there was an RFA. In 2 months my college didn’t receive any forms by post or e-mail. In November, 2023 the University sent a letter with signatures of all individuals that can sign education verification forms (delivered in 20, November by post). And until now (1 month later) the CGFNS has not updated the receipt status of this letter. I'm very concerned and frustrated because my case expires in 4 months, and until now my case is at a standstill, without any kind of progress, even with the university sending everything necessary. Please, help-me, because I need of the CES for aplication the test of *****, and the time of the CGFNS aplication is ending.

I have started application for *** on CGFNS intl. on March 2023 and paid a fee of 400 dollars. My cgfns id is *******.All the requirements had been sent to the CGFNS more than 7 months ago and on repeated query they said they are reviewing the docs. After all these months, they just came out with the objection on my school documents that the academic year starting date is missing. I confirmed with cgfns that is this only thing that is pending, and they replied ' yes'. Now, my college has sent them the letter regarding my academic year details, and they didn't acknowledge that and raised another objection about authorized signature on my application form and that requested letter. I am frustrated as they should've told these details earlier when they received my documents by all these months. Two days before, they emailed me that only 3 months left in expiration of my application that means i will have to start from scratch again and pay the fee once again. this is too much worrisome as i have paid a lot of money already apart from the main fee (Postal charges).

    Customer Answer

    Date: 12/08/2023

I Called them and they told me an excuse about signature authentication which they never have told me before. I contacted my school, and they said the previous principal has been retired and a new one is in her place. that's why the signature on the documents is different and it's not in cgfns old record. But administration always works like that, some people get retire with time and new one takes their place. It's completely frustrating how to make them believe about the signature authentication, though all my documents are sent by the school in the sealed envelope already. School is charging me postal mail fee whenever CGFNS demands a new explanation which is another financial burden. And CGFNS is asking things one by one. so, I have to send one thing and then a new objection is there in line.

Ufaq Latif placed an order for the Credential Verification Service for New York State on March 4, 2023.  CGFNS International, Inc. is required by the New York State Department of Education to verify the authenticity of the applicant’s license validation and transcripts.

The following documents have been received and reviewed:

License verification from Pakistan. Deemed acceptable by the evaluator.

License verification from Saudi Arabia.  Deemed acceptable by the evaluator.

Transcript from ******************* Medical College.  This document was not accepted by the evaluator as CGFNS was not able to verify the school official who signed the Request for Academic Records/Transcripts form.  CGFNS sent a Request for Assistance letter to the school on August 10, 2023 via trackable mail and again on December 11, 2023 via email requesting the names and signatures of all school officials who are authorized to send documents to CGFNS.

Please note that CGFNS can issue a report to the New York State Department of Education if it has been 180 days since the application was submitted.  CGFNS will issue the report to the New York State Department of Education on December 22, 2023.  The report indicates that the transcript signature and seal provided by the school were not in the CGFNS International database.

My CGFNS ID Number is *******. I placed a CES Report order and a Visa screen order with CGFNS in July 2023 and August 2023 respectively. While the CES Report has since been issued, the Visa screen certificate is being delayed. CGFNS say they are trying to authenticate one of my credentials, specifically my bachelor's degree from ****** ******** University of ********** (*******) in Nigeria. In the past few months, my order status in CGFNS portal changed back and forth multiple times between " Ready for Review" and " Waiting for Required Items." CGFNS attributed the changes to a system glitch but this created a lot of anxiety and it was an emotional rollercoaster for me. Although CGFNS refused to disclose what email they are corresponding with at my school to allow me follow-up with the school for a timely response, a Deputy Registrar from the school emailed CGFNS on November 7 to authenticate my transcripts. CGFNS is yet to acknowledge this response or update my status. They say it would take up to five weeks. A shorter timeframe has been quoted in the past. This response timeframe is too long, all things considered. I paid $700 for the visa screen, aside from the cost of the CES report. I would like CGFNS to complete my visa screen in a timely manner. They should acknowledge the email from the Deputy Registrar at the school, update my status and complete my order. If CGFNS needs any additional information, they should be more proactive in engaging the school through multiple channels as needed and they should be make clear to the school what it is they want. CGFNS' slow processes is affecting my life and livelihood, and the delay in processing my visa screen request is causing me untold hardship.
