      It is evident, based on all of the other reviews I have read, this company has an incompetent leadership that does NOT care about the welfare of others. Their website does NOT even provide an outlet for a customer to file a complaint as it loops you back and forth. My experience has been filled with nothing but aggravation. The lack of institutional knowledge by their employees is baffling and they have 2 response times (slow and stop). I have personally spent at least ********************************************** supplying information they are supposed to get themselves. I finally thought we were coming to the easy part of *** benefits however that turned out to be worse than the *** process. *** should simply be an extension of *** meaning only updated medical records which include the reason the employee is unable to return to work should be required. We completed all forms and returned them. Almost 4 weeks has gone by now they are requesting Doctor notes from a standard appt. This is simply an attempt to delay rendering a decision and is crossing legal boundaries as some of the info being requested is a violation of HIPAA. Multiple attempts have been made to talk to a Supervisor and have fallen on deaf ears. This company should be put out of business as they are messing with people's livelihoods.

      This is by far the worst, bogus, incompetent, corrupt, insurance company to exist. No matter if youre disabled, hurt on the job, no money due to your job injury, reliance standard will have you going through an *************** to get everything they required and you will still be denied. Ive been trying to receive disability from them for 2 years now. They will continuously ignore your calls, refer you to someone else ONLY to get referred to someone else ONLY to get your claim denied. I was injured on the job in July of 2023, filed a claim , denied, was told I had to wait 6 months to file another claim,denied. Got injured again in 2024 filed another claim, denied. Was told in order to file another claim that I would have to return to work during my injury. To file another claim which I told them was a liability but they insisted that I return, denied. I appealed it , denied. I appealed it the second time and the company denied it a final time before the deadline and on top of that they based my claim on receiving someone elses medical records, even after I told them the medical records were not mine, even after I told them they were in violation of HIPPA, they continued with the decision and denial process. As of today they wont respond to calls or emails. Im just disabled and SOL. This company seems as if its a cult or demonically ran by some kind of conspiracy. They DO NOT try to help resolve your issue. They have you running in circles to no avail. *** requested the numbers to corporate, the CEO, the ** and they will tell you that they dont have that information. You can ****** it and youre given wrong numbers or numbers that are no longer relevant. It is a circle of misinformation given to you on purpose because they want you to get tired, frustrated and give up. Something needs to be done. This type of behavior should not be allowed or accepted. I will await my response.

      I am filing this complaint due to the poor handling of my short-term disability (STD) claim with Reliance Matrix and the complete lack of communication from their customer service team.I submitted my STD claim with all required and supporting medical documentation. Despite this, the claim was denied without a clear explanation. I subsequently filed an appeal, again providing the requested documentation in full. Since then, I have attempted to contact Reliance Matrix numerous times via phone and email to receive an update or clarification. No one has responded to any of my communications.This lack of responsiveness is unacceptable, particularly given the nature of disability claims, where individuals are already under significant stress. I believe I have met all requirements and have been more than cooperative throughout the process. The companys failure to respond is both unprofessional and unethical.I am requesting that Reliance Matrix:Review and approve my claim based on the medical evidence already submitted.Provide a formal response regarding the appeal.Improve their customer service ***********************, especially in handling time-sensitive disability claims.I hope this complaint encourages the company to take appropriate corrective action.Sincerely,***** ******

      This company talks about home and life balance for their employees, but it only seems to matter for certain employees. For example if you under doctors care and been advised never to be alone at home especially at night but u live alone and to change this narrative you have to relocate and request to work fully remote and is denied because it is not what the business is willing to do because of ur position but yet there are supervisors, managers and directors who are full time remote. Mind you some of us work hybrid already. They have no empathy.

      Lazy claims examiners. Do nothing to help their clients. They prefer to do all by mail so they dont have to get what they need right away for the people they are supposed to be helping. Doctors sent in information WEEKS AGO and I just found out this company said my doctors never sent it when I was there when they sent it all. If I could give zero stars I would. Horrible company. Honestly the **** are fantastic and its unfortunate they have to be on the front lines dealing with someone upset when the claims examiner is so lazy. DO BETTER.

      No one should invest in this company. Very poor investment choices. This is not someone you want to trust for your familys well ******** my mom had a policy thru them. She past in late 2021. The forms they provided were incorrect. These were sent in 2022. No effort was made to correct their error.Their customer service has been appalling. Hanging up on me with simple questions such as do you have the executor information on file. They are not willing to process full distributions on beneficiary accounts as direct deposit. They are holding money in order to acquire additional interest on those moneys during that timeframe. Well there timeframes are up to 7 business days to process. Mail is sent **** standard so additional 7-10 business days. Then up to ten business for your financial institution to hold check while processing. This is unethical to allow up to 30 business days for them to accrue interest on our moneys while average middle class Americans are paying 30% interest on their credit card debt. Do not invest anything in this corruption.

      RSI IS THE WORST. AVOID AT ALL COSTS AS IT WILL INDEED COST YOU.Sadly joining all the other one star reviews. They seem great at making it impossible to contact anyone who knows anything at ***. Thus, claims don't pay even though they certainly take my money every month.

      Reliance Standard is the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to be associated with. They were the company insurance provider for years before I joined the company and it was the most excruciating experience trying to get any information from them. For years they collected premiums for insurance products that we discovered our employees were not even enrolled in. On top of that they refused to refund the premiums for the employees who had paid for coverage that they never had.
