I have been calling the riteaid pharmacy for 2 days !! Nonone woll pick up the phone or when they do they hang up .i also spoke with the front cashier and she said they are busy . I dont care my mother has cancer and i need her prescriptions !!! This is XXXXXXXX !! Something needs to be done. The location is canal st . Brattleboro vt o5301 . Look, I would never complain like this but this rite aid is so bad that our whole town and doctors offices are all talking about it and no one wants to deal with them. They make getting my medication such a hassle that I dread it every month. When I have a script called in it is never ready or filled ever!!! I have to call before and ask them to fill them instead of it being filled when my doctor or hospital callls a script in like it should be. They will not ever answer the phone. Ever! They even will pick up the phone and hang it up if u continue to call. The store it’s self will not answer . So u have no choice no matter how sick u are u have to go in and ask them to fill the script u had called in from emergency or your doctor days or hours before. And then they treat u like u just dropped it off and it will be two hours after that. So I’m never able to get medication after it is called in for me. I’m beyond frustrated and yes there is other pharmacy’s but I walk and it’s the closest one and it’s winter so trust me even wanting to I can’t walk that far sick because they are so lazy. They all have attitudes and are rude except the pharmacist but why can’t one of the five answer the phone for two seconds. PLEASE IM BEGGING YOU TO HELP ME! Pls talk to this store or do something to help your customers that need your help. Pls don’t ignore this and just look into it and help me get my medication and have communication with the pharmacy like I should be able too. Thank u. It’s 1030 pine ave rite aid. Niagara Falls ny. I promise my doctors even will not deal with this pharmacy and hate calling scripts into this place.Business Response

On 11/22/2022 I stopped at my local RiteAid on Waterloo Rd in Akron Ohio and purchase an ****** Gift card for a relative for $150. I sent the card with the pin number so he could use it for the Thanksgiving Holiday. As soon as he tried to use it he received a message that the card had already been used. I called the store immediately and they said they had to call the Manager who was off. They called him and he said he would give me a refund but come on Thanksgiving in the morning. So I did and when he found out it was $150 he said he couldnt refund it. the other customer had spent less but he refunded his. He contacted ****** who I contacted as well and they told me its Riteaids responsibility to refund me cause once a store purchases their cards its no longer their responsiblity if there is a loss. Riteaid's corporate contacted me and said they would do an investigation but then said they cant refund me to just file a claim with ****** where why when ****** already said there isnt anything they can do and no point in filing a claim. To big businesses that refuse to protect the customer or back their merchandise. Can you please help? I really can't afford a loss like this.Business Response

I am very sorry, unfortunately, Per the Rite Aid return policy which can be found here: ( ****************************************************** ) "Refunds cannot be issued on the following products: Cigarettes & Tobacco Products. Prescriptions, Prepaid cards, Gift Cards or Money Services, Lottery Tickets". This means that all Prepaid cards sold at Rite Aid stores are non-refundable and subject to the terms specified by the individual merchant, in your case ******, (see back of card for restrictions) and that Lost or stolen cards will not be replaced or refunded. Please note that this policy and all policies with Rite Aid are available online and can be provided to you upon request by any employee in store or by contacting Customer Care directly. As per our return policy no refund is able to be issued for the purchased ****** prepaid card. This policy is in place as a result of how loading Prepaid cards is designed, as when you purchase a prepaid card, regardless of what store or location your purchase it from, the money loaded to the prepaid card does not go to the location the prepaid card was sold at but instead is electronically sent to the merchant/owner of the prepaid card, in this case ******. Rite Aid acts as the middle ground for the transaction performing the prepaid card activation, your money when paid to the Rite Aid Clerk is actually sent to ****** upon the cards activation and does not stay with Rite Aid. Rite Aid therefore cannot refund the amount of money loaded to the card as Rite Aid did not receive the money, the merchant did. This is because the money being applied to the prepaid card is money that can only be spent at the merchant listed on the card. So when you purchase a prepaid card from a Rite Aid, and purchase a $20 ****** prepaid card, that $20 is sent to ****** Electronically through the register upon activation of the card, ****** then loads that money onto your prepaid card using our network and register once the funds are received by them.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: I spoke to ****** and they said once the card is bought by a store like Riteaid from them it's no longer their responsibility when there is a loss do to an obvious scam. ****** stated that because riteaid purchased the cards any loss it's Riteaids responsibility to recover that loss to the customer and its out of their hands. So right now I'm caught between ****** and Riteaid neither one accepting responsibility for this obvious theft. If they can't keep the hackers from doing this then they need to stop selling these cards to unsuspecting customers. Please help settle this cause I'm out $150 never happened to me before both parties know that a hacker got the money. Is an Employee responsible for taking this? I believe so. Somebody on the inside did this cause as soon as this card was activated the money was gone. Thank u

With regard to your request a refund was issued to you in full in the amount of 58.99 for this order on 12/13/2022. It can take 7 -14 business days for any refunds made to reflect on your original payment method. As this order was placed through a 3rd party, we had to get approval from the 3rd party to issue the refund, this process on occasion does take several weeks.. Yesterday, at 79 years old, and in this Pandemic, I was embarrasses because your La Mirada, Ca store would not take a ****** coupon for $10.00 that was sent from ****** **., New York from Mary D****, Senior Claims Rep. I was humiliated after a long wait, only for the clerk to tell me Rite Aid will not take this. People were lined up behind me waiting. Poor business practices. I placed an online order with this company on 11/3 order number is ********* amount $51.45.Tracking says ***** delivered my package an it was signed for .I did not met with a ***** driver nor have a received this shipment .I live in a multi unit apartment building anyone could have taken my package and signed for it .I contacted rite aid multi times via email an I was assured a refund would be submitted for the missing order .I was told today 11/21 that I was not receiving a refund now this is after rite aid assured me I would be receiving my money back .The customer service department should not tell you that a refund is being issued an then not provide that .My order was time sensitive I have never ordered on this site .After this incident I will never order from rite aid again they do not care about the customer .Business Response

It’s been over a month of calling Rite Aid on **** **** ****, Pittsburgh PA *****. No one answers the phone ever, my doctor’s office can’t get a hold of them. My doctor has sent the prescription for ******* 20 mg and 30 mg over several times and the pharmacy never answers and claims they dont have it ready. My husband purchased a ****** gift card from Rite Aid in June, 2022, as a birthday gift for me. Well, in my absentmindedness, I lost the gift card and have tried to since get it replaced, of course after searching my house thoroughly. I first went to Rite Aid but was told I would have to go to ******, so I went to my local ***** store but was told I had to get satisfaction from Rite Aid. Rite Aid then said Id have to call ***** 800; upon which I was told Rite Aid had to take are of the situation. SO! here I am still trying to get the lost gift card replaced or the $!00 returned and all Ive done is go back and forth between Rite Aid and *****. Therefore, you see, I really need the BBB to step in and help me - PLEASE...Oh, and by-the-way, I do have the receipt and the stub that came attached to the gift card. When I took the stub to my local ***** store the clerk looked up the card and said it still had $100 on it. When I called ***** 800 the person with whom I spoke said it wasnt even a ***** card. Everytime I go to Rite Aid Store #***** to pick up prescriptions there is always problems there. It stems from short changing prescriptions to refusing prescriptions until they speak to the doctor. These are life sustaining medications not pain prescriptions. They refused nebulizer medications until they can speak to the doctor to refusing a 70 yrs old crippled lady her nebulizer medications and diabetic supplies because they need papers filled out for ******** everytime that the same prescriptions are refilled. She has no way to get there to fill out the papers as where they can't be done electronically? This is 2022 not 1982. So she can't get medications for her breathing or supplies to test her blood sugar. This is becoming standard practice for this store because it is the only commercial pharmacy in town. The straw that breaks the camels back is today I go there to pickup prescriptions that were texted to me that were ready as in I have severe COPD and can barely get out of my house to pickup breathing medications that my doctor prescribed to me and I paid for online only to get told at 1:25pm that they are going to lunch which is supposed to be at 1:30pm and get in a argument and be threatened to have the cops called because I wanted to speak with a supervisor for a transaction that would have taken 30 seconds if that. If is was after 1:30pm i could have understood that but really? Still having 5 minutes to give someone who can barely walk or breathe much needed medications. This is the benchmark of poor customer service because they are the only commercial pharmacy in town.Business Response

I have been call Rite Aid since Friday and no one is answering the phone. Friday I was in the store and no one was in the pharmacy line. My husband was calling to put in a prescription and no one would answer the phone today is Monday and still no one is answering the phone I been on hold for 2 hour.Business Response
