They sent out a new credit card with a new account number to an old address. When it wasn't activated they blocked my account online. I had no way to find my account or gain access to make payments because they changed the account number. (This account was over 20 years old with no issues.) After hours of being transferred to the wrong departments. I was finally told this information and that because this account had not been kept current. My account is now closed. I gave them all the updated personal information they asked for and gained the information I needed to make payments. (I can no longer use the online access, and will have to mail my payments.) Now, I get calls from them every day and they just called my place of work to ask for payment. !! It takes longer to get checks when they are sent through the mail!!! This is just the latest hassle I have had with this bank. They have terrible customer service and terrible accountability.First National Bank of PA

An absolute nightmare of an organization. They care about one thing and one thing only - FEES!!!Do not do business with this bank unless you want to loose money. Last month they paid $0.25 in interest and charged $10 for low balance! Tried to close account and got a $29 fee and they locked online account. Calls to customer no-service average about 15 minutes hold time prior to getting no help from whomever answers the phone.First National Bank of PA

I received an email from the bank, but did not know if it was really from the bank so I called to ask. Yes they had sent it but then the online agent reported my account for fraud and locked me out of it. Representative after representative, company, execs, branch managers, etc. could not get me back into my account. This was absurd. They admitted that what he did was wrong. Ive transferred to another bank. This is not the first time a phone rep had messed up my account by doing something incorrectly. The previous time I actually had a corporate rep call me to apologize. Unfortunately they have not done that this time so they lost my accounts. They are horrible.First National Bank of PA

1 starDO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS BANK! I am a disabled US Army combat veteran, and have a very high FICO score in low 800's (zero late payments, nothing negative whatsoever). I requested a loan to help fix up me and my brothers house but was denied (a $40,000 loan against a $200,000 PAID FOR house, ALL EQUITY, so you would think this is a no brainer transaction)......
I believe I was denied because I am a disabled combat veteran. This is UNACCEPTABLE, and I hope fellow veterans and others find a better bank to do business with.
They deserve zero stars because they don't have a clue of what they are doing and are obviously anti-american.......Review fromCarrie D

I was forced to give one star or they would have none. Never, I repeat never use this bank. They are horrible to work with, I have tried for 6 months to get my loan on auto pay with no success. You can not make a payment over the phone if you do not use their bank for personal checking. Terrible customer service. I assure you I never write a review as I am a business owner myself. Stay. Away. From.This.Bank!!First National Bank of PA

Terrible customer service. Manager, ******************** is very rude. I tried telling her my concerns and seeking her assistant. She was being so rude i asked for my paperwork and went to the teller who was able to take care of my issues. Everything she told me the bank could not do i was able to do with the teller. FNB is not an ideal bank. The interest rates are very low, they charged $10.00 for a ************************************************************************ some sort of notification or would have allowed me to link my checking acct. I would not be surprised if the bank closes. Online service is terrible it is so difficult for me to log in each time and the account is only available for viewing certain dates.First National Bank of PA

This Bank is a SCAM, they will keep charging your account and get you to a negative balance if you don't check your account. I was charged from Zelle TWICE for $65.35 (x2) money that actually failed and should not be charged. What happened was I did a ZellE that failed the first time then tried it the second time and the same failure message came again. The next day I was those two amounts of the $65.35 were pending on my account and deducted. I am currently fighting to get those (2) $65.35 charges back into my account, and it is been a pain. The customer service person I spoke to on the phone, was not willing to really help, and the money stolen from my account is still taken out of the account. This bank needs to be closed, this bank is a scam, and this is not the first time I get charged from this bankFirst National Bank of PA

If I could give negative stars I would because even 1 star is more than they deserve. My parents passed away and I needed to close their prime equity line which had no balance. But they had enforced drop insurance on their account because they said they didnt have homeowners insurance but they DID! I had to bring Dec pages to prove it for 5 years. I took all paper work to my local branch including death certificates-all paper work showing Im the beneficiary and sole owner of their accounts, and Dec pages. They were lost in transit for at least 4-6 weeks -they were finally found. They finally popped up after I have been passed around to almost every department in several states. Til I finally found someone with in the bank that tried to help me by calling a department she thought to be the department I needed to talk to and she was passed around like a football too. She was in shock and didnt believe me until it happened to her personally. She kept apologizing but she was sincere about it. This issue is still yet to be resolved -its been going on since 4-21-23.Before you do any business with this bank please first consider using a Russian loan shark from the ********* government that employed a certain ***** family member first. Im sure you would get much better results than I have gotten from fnb.The two things this bank is good at is saying Im sorry and passing you around to everyone associated with the bank ????? I gonna need to be on blood pressure medicine after this is over!First National Bank of PA
