      If I could leave -0- starts I would. Filed a claim 3/225 only to be repeatedly asked for forms that have already been sent. I have requested since the beginning that if any forms are needed please send them to me in email and I can more quickly get them to my healthcare provider. My caseworker as well as her immediate manager go no contact and will blind fax forms to my providers. I only know forms are actually needed when I call for a status update. Everyone outside of my caseworkers team seems to be able to see things crystal clear. We are entering June and forms requesting medical records are still being requested, though it shows those where received 4/09/2025. Do not invest, and do not hire this company to handle any kind of outsourced business.

      The Annuitization Claims Team is indefensibly slow. Total time to process completed claim and place check in the mail will be 8+ weeks. RiverSource and American National each took less than 2 weeks to process completed claim and place check in the mail. The claim that I am shepherding as a trustee seems to only move when I call Customer Support. 2025.02.15 - *** acknowledged that completed claims forms were received, legible, without any omissions. 2025.02.18 - Bank honored check reimbursing Lincoln Financial for annuity payment made but not due until after DOD. 2025.03.03 - CSR confirmed all paperwork and check were received. 2025.03.18 - "In Process" and assigned as a work item. 2025.04.15 - *** received response from Claims Team that claim is being processed and should be dispersed next week. MY TAKE: **** do a good job and are put in an awkward position by a management team seemingly unmotivated to support an Annuity Claims Processing team and develop their claims process into something better than "4x slower in claims processing than at least (2) worthy competitors".

      I have dealt with multiple life insurance carriers but never had an experience like this. They do not process requests instead coming back every time it is submitted that there are more requirements needed.When asking for a supervisor I am being promised callbacks. This has been going on weeks with me constantly following. -22 star experience.

      My job ended. I wanted to convert my life insurance policy. I called before the 31 days was over to convert and they told me they would send me a package. Never got it. Instead I got a letter stating that I didn't apply for conversion within the 31 days and i was not eligible for conversion. Simply untrue. I called twice after that. The first time the agent told me they must have made a mistake and they would send out "the package." Never got it. I called AGAIN, and the agent told me she had to investigate and she would call me back within an hour or so. That was weeks ago and I have not heard back. Perhaps they found out (somehow) that I have ** and they don't want to insure me? I don't know. But after reading the reviews here, I definitely do not want to line their pockets with my money, if they wouldn't pay out the policy upon my death. So forgot it then. Wish I didn't even waste all that time on the phone with these liars. Honestly I feel bad for the agents there -- they either have no souls or they must feel badly about their daily work. ******.

      This was the long-term disability offered to me by *******. Although I have paid for this insurance through paycheck check deductibles they have done very little to help me resolve my issues. I am being denied coverage because my doctor's office has not sent in paperwork. When I contact the doctor's office they didn't receive any paperwork. One day after this paperwork was due my I was told my benefits had lapsed. This is very disparaging when my husband and I have several prescriptions that are covered through my ******* insurance. If this coverage is lapsed, I am unable to meet my obligations with my prescriptions. Also, on several occasions I was double billed for the premiums that I have to pay while on long-term disability. None of this is explained to you whenever you sign up for Lincoln long-term disability insurance. As soon as my short-term ran out and I began receiving long-term benefits, I was told by Lincoln that I would need to apply for social security disability. I didn't sign up for long-term insurance to have to be forced to apply for social security disability. While trying to regain my strength to go back to work. This has been an impossible situation to deal with. All of this should be explained when you sign up to have Lincoln as your long-term disability that provider through *****************

      My company has this organization for there short term disability. I have my rheumatologist and my cardiologist because Ive had a heart attack and also 3 bad disks in my neck. I filed a complaint with BBB but because its medical they cant share info. But I wanted to just warn anyone dealing with this company that they were sent disabling info from both doctors. The state accepted the documents but they closed the claim for reasons unknown.I will be seeking an attorney to find out why and take any action needed. So beware because of filing complaint they will not talk to me my claim person was Gianna **

      Should be no stars! This is the most pathetic and deceptive life insurance company you could ever use! Don't don't don't!!! My mother, of whom I'm executor of sole heir (myself) estate, after providing all required information since 6/24/2024, they still will not pay. Received email today saying we haven't done everything which is a farce. Then told us we had ********************* they'd turn over to state. ****** ******, who was supposed to "assist" us with resolution epitomizes the company's deception and potential fraud. Stay far away and notify anyone you know that has signed on with them. We're going to have to get an attorney to get payout that my mother sent aside for me. They are liers and cheats that make a terrible loss just worse! If I haven't said it enough yet, DON'T DON'T use them!!

      Lincoln has a history of dragging the rollover process along for several months. This causes customers like me to miss out on favorable market conditions and costs the customer tens of thousands in lost opportunities. I submitted the frequently updated distribution for in October, then in November (only after I contacted the company to determine the holdup), Lincoln informed me that they had yet another updated form. After completing the updated form in November and following up in December, still the rollover has not taken place. It is now, January 2025 and I am still awaiting the transfer of MY FUNDS from Lincoln Financial Group in ***************, *******. I would not recommend anyone get in bed with this company....they don't tell you its a life sentence whether you like it or not.

      I have multiple retirement accounts at **********************. 1 of which is a **** ***. I wanted it moved to another institution but somewhere along the way the account numbers got messed up and they sent my regular ***. So I called them and they sent me a form to fill out to get the money back (into the annuity). Filled out the form September 30, 2024 and emailed it in. I hear nothing for a couple of weeks and the money is still there. Called Lincoln again, and again and again. Well we mailed the request, the other institution we received the request form but need a Hold Harmless form, so the other institution called initiated a 3 way (with me) call to Lincoln sort things out, including a fax number at the other institution to speed things up. Time passes, called Lincoln again told Oh, the last person filled out the request but forgot to check the action box. I did and will sent the form. Weeks go by the other institution text me what is happening?. November 21, 2024 called Lincoln again and get Well it is past 60 days we can do nothing. Ask for supervisor, Well one will call back in the next 2 business days. Uncooperative and completely unhelpful service. Dont seem to get anyones attention over there. Dont seem to get anyone to actually do anything. This should be a simple thing, surely other people have had this happen. Very aggravating to deal with. Sorry I ever put money there. Cannot give a zero star rating only reason they get 1 star.

      My father had passed Dec.21 2021 and im still waiting on them to pay out the claim. With every submission of documents they request, i get what they need and then they respond with more information is needed. I do believe that there is no intention of paying out anything. After i submit this review, i will be filing a claim with The State ************************** Best of luck to anyone that has to deal with this company.
