I signed up to recieve job posting then I immediately started receiving India scam calls for ******** swabs. I hope you get sued for selling data to scammers.

Complete garbage site. If I could leave a no star review, I would. This site is an absolute scam, you see in their response to applicants here, they don't even use correct grammar. As for the emails, once you unsubscribe, it can take up to 48 hours for the emails to stop completely, since some are queued in advance. I signed up with Lensa and they sent me an e-mail with potential jobs. I clicked on one and it took me to listings on **************************. I clicked view job and a pop-up for "The Big Job Site" appeared. The first thing it tried to do was sell me a resume review. Once I refused that and answered the other questions, I had a choice of "premium" or "basic" membership. I chose basic (the free option). The job description then appeared. Off to the side were other listings that stated "premium only." I clicked one, out of curiosity, and the job description was blurred. You had to pay to see the listing. Don't waste your time hopping through the hoops, Lensa is just a company preying on unemployed and probably desperate people.Lensa, Inc

Absolute scam. I clicked through a job listing on ******** that lead me to the Lensa site. I signed up and created a profile. That was a few days ago and ever since, my inbox has been hammered with garbage email not only from Lensa but (at least) a dozen other job and recruitment mailing lists that are full of the most irrelevant junk completely unrelated to the job I had initially tried to apply for.I implore anyone that will listen to stay as far away from Lensa as possible - I'm confident that they play fast and loose with personal information and are selling it off to whoever will pay.Lensa, Inc

Self imposed middleman for postings, some are legit/active postings, some are old and no longer available on the hiring site/company. Acts as a service, but unsure what happens with personal data. I'll go to the company's site to apply. Unsubscribed but somehow when I clicked on a posting on LinkedIn, it said welcome back. Finding a job is hard enough sometimes but this Lensa is not doing anyone favors but for themselves.Lensa, Inc

Lensa is not doing enough to vet the users that post jobs to protect them from being preyed upon by fraudulent attempts to get PII from applicant users who are vulnerable to these attacks. I have had several instances where jobs listed in email notifications from Lensa lead to fake or scam jobs that are phishing attempts. I am no longer going to use Lensa or apply to any Lensa ads since I have no trust I am not going to be defending myself from scammers because Lensa doesn't want to take responsibility for their content (like most other platforms) when there's this level of awareness by users it is being used as a tool for fraudulent businesses. There are so many alternatives to Lensa it is pointless to use it when it is a time waster in false leads and scamming issues.Lensa, Inc
