Terrible!!! The account was on an unenrolled status - then charged $210.00 in overdraft fees. Debit card purchases were made on my account when funds were available, however, the bank processed all the transactions right before my direct deposit hit the account. A banker not a manager out of ******* ** named ****, told me she was concerned that I was unenrolled and getting fees because that shouldnt happen. She told me that she would issue a new card and refund the fees. Then AFTER the new card was issued, told me that she didnt have the authority to issue the refund and would have to confirm with her manager **** out of the ********** ** location. He in turn, denied me the request. So, now I am short $210.00 and have the hassle of changing other account information due to the issuance of a new card.Just appalling service. I am in the process of reporting through the ****

-Closing my account after 15 days as a customer. -Opened my account with over ********** days later, I went to a different branch to deposit $180.00 in cash. The teller said her computer was acting up and unless I had the full account number, she couldn't help me. I had my debit card, driver's license and SS card. I asked the branch manager could she look up my account number and GIVE IT TO THE TELLER so I could deposit. The branch manager states, "If the teller asked you for the account number, YOU have to provide it to her." I literally drove across town to the branch I opened my account to deposit $180.00 cash. If I was opening another account with $180,000, I'm sure the branch manager would have looked me up and tried to sell me all kinds of bank products.- Within the next 4 days after that, I had 3 fraud alerts while trying to use my card at the **** The last one took 2+ hours to resolve as I'm stuck with no money. Each time, I answered the text messages. - Two days after that, I deposit a check and I asked the teller when funds would be available. The teller tells me the next day. The funds are not available. I called customer service and was told there is a 7 day hold on my check. Those funds were for a special purpose. I could have easily took the check and cashed somewhere else but did not think I was being lied to. I was lied to. Now, I am in serious trouble because I have no access to my money. As soon as the check clears, I'm closing my account.

**************** is poor. When Vivint ********************* came out, Citizens took the loan and refused to cancel the loan under 30 days for the equipment. They have a video stating the sales rep went over the cancelation policy, which he told me was a cancellation policy like ******** So I am slotted to pay $4000 for the equipment that doesn't work with no service. Vivint cancels the monitoring of the equipment that doesn't work with any other company. I agreed to working service. The 2nd technical support agent removed the unworking equipment to make it look like my service was working correctly. I didn't mine paying, but I am unable to arm my entire house, leaving me venerable.

Attempted to open two new accounts, a one deposit checking as well as a one deposit savings account to take advantage of a new customer offer. Within the same day, 3 hours later, i was locked out of my profile and my user ID was changed to "Fraudo". I have high 770's credit score, I work in the banking industry, verified all of my information with double authentication. Spent 45 minutes calling into Citizens to verify that the accounts were closed on their side as I was concerned with fraud, was repeatedly transferred and put on hold. Final answer from a "supervisor" was they could not provide me with a reason point of call because that department is only open for 4 hours a day and would be sending a letter. I provided my aba and checking # on account opening as well as SSN and am very worried this info got into the wrong hands. I would give 0 stars if i could, and will certainly never attempt to open accounts with this institution ever again. Worst "new customer" experience i've ever had

High overdraft fees and low interest incentives. **************** is terrible! There is supposed to be 24hr fraud department but they don't answer their calls after 10pm.I was stuck in ******** over **** miles from home with no gas or way to pay for a hotel because they froze my card due to using my card out of my home state even though I confirmed the purchases through an alert email the day before. No one helped me, the only person I could get was customer service who said she couldn't do anything and that it was up to ***** She lied, kept transferring me to the fraud department who never answered, I waited on the phone for 6 hours to end up hanging up and having to resolve it when they felt like waking up to answer my calls at 9am. Not to mention their automated call options do not have an option for speaking to a live agent, and in order to get to one you have to select the lost or stolen card option even if that doesn't apply to you, in order to get a real agent on the phone. The chat option is useless because they can't help with issues like unauthorized charges, even though they ask for your social security number and identification. They tell you to call the **** number but don't tell you how to get a live agent, they also don't have any option for charges on your account.

I cannot believe this bank is allowed to operate. Other than the awful customer service and the fact that every representative says a different thing, they are completely inaccessible. Our cars title is held at the bank, and in order to register it in the state we just moved to, we need the physical title to be send to our respective states DMV. They said it would take 2-3 weeks, it has now been 4. After calling them multiple time a week for a status update on the title (since its time sensitive via parking pass, ticketing/towing, etc.) the first representative said it needs to go through our previous home state and that they cant do anything about it. After calling our previous home states DMV, the very kind lady informed us that that is 100% not the case, and Citizens Bank needs to physically mail the title to our new states DMV. We called Citizens Bank back with the new information and they said they, dont know the status, its not their job, and it has nothing to do with them. This is a LEGAL document. Absolutely incompetent individuals. In the words of *******************, It is so bad, I want to give you a zero, but that's not possible, so I give you a one.

Besides being commercial customers and maintaining an average 250K balance in my commercial checking account, my wife and I had large personal accounts with Citizens and hold stock. Our troubles started when the joint checking account we used exclusively for travel and so rarely check was hacked. I caught the fraudulent charges on our joint account and was refunded the first time by Citizens and issued a new card.I never used the new card and 4 months elapsed before we looked at the account again as we were not traveling. Citizens foolishly gave **** permission to give the past companies recurringly charging the card the new card number. The only people were the past criminals charging the old card and they racked up $900 in new charges before I checked the presumably dormant account. When this was brought to Citizen's attention, they said the fraud charges were past 60 days old, refused to refund us, and took no responsibility. Even though they admitted being responsible for giving my new card number to the criminals that charged it the first time. Needless to say, we are closing all our accounts and selling our Citizens stock. This company is not the same stable company that I worked with for years and invested in. I predict a grim future for them.

*************** was my financial officer. We have him on recorded line making sexist and rude comments regarding the nature of the business as well as commenting inappropriately on the age and proposal. After two months of deliberating over this loan and providing all necessary documents as well as paying for the appraisal, it was abruptly terminated with no recourse. This has been one of the worst banks I have egr worked with, and I used to use ***** Fargo so that's saying a lot. Fraudulent loan officer. *******
