1 starI went to CVS Pharmacy located at ************************************* NY NY-The clerk asked me to insert a card instead of using a cash. I stated I would prefer cash. My identification needed to be scanned. He toook my 100$ bill by a corner like it was a dirty diaper and refused to touch my identification asking me to hold it for the scan. I waited for an additional prescription to be filled and watched if any other customer would be treated as I was. They were not. I reported him to the manager named ***** who brushed me off by saying Ill speak to him. Twenty minutes later he was still at the counter. If he doesnt want inter actions with black customers maybe thats not the person ********************** should have working for them. I would like an apology and him being removed for his total disrespect.Review fromDANA L

2 starsCVS ONLINE ORDERING Beware ordering online from CVS. I just recently started ordering products online from CVS, shampoo and cosmetics and vitamins, etc. Quickly, I realized that these items are not being sent out of a central location. Instead, orders are fulfilled by individual stores all across the country. That means todays order might come from an individual pharmacy store in ***** and tomorrows might come from an individual pharmacy store in *******. This is important because lately almost 50% of the time the items I receive from online orders have either been opened and used, are so inappropriately packaged with no padding or not taping tops down or not bagging liquid items that what I ordered frequently arrives broken, leaking, cracked, unusable. I have made attempts to resolve the issue with CUSTOMER SERVICE, but because these items come out of the hundreds of different individual stores across the country it seems that CVS corporate has zero control over online product fulfillment. I have tried numerous times to reach some department that might be in charge of online order fulfillment and there apparently isnt one or at least there isnt one that customers can contact. It is a waste of time for a customer to go online, find an item, order an item, pay for an item, wait for the item to arrive, find that very frequently what they ordered arrives in a completely unusable and unacceptable condition, have to contact customer service, respond back back-and-forth, obtain a refund, and then purchased the products from a different vendor. If you decide to order from CVS, I wish you luck. I genuinely do. You will definitely need it.Review fromJay C

1 starComplaint Against: CVS Pharmacy Location: ******************************************** Complainant Name: ******* ***** Complaint Summary:Delay and difficulty using valid GoodRx coupon due to CVS staff inexperience and system issues.?Detailed Complaint:On June 9, 2025, I visited the CVS Pharmacy located at ****************************************************************************************** to pick up a prescription. I presented a valid GoodRx coupon that displayed the correct discounted price for my medication. However, the pharmacy staff repeatedly told me there were discrepancies between the pricing shown in their system and what I was displaying from ******. Despite showing them the exact code and price multiple times, they struggled to enter it correctly or match it to the system. After several failed attempts and ongoing confusion, they finally found the correct match. This process took over 30 minutes to resolvean unreasonable amount of time for what should have been a straightforward 5-minute pickup. This delay was frustrating and inconvenient. It also reflected either a lack of proper training or system integration issues with ******, which are essential tools for customers managing prescription costs.?Desired Resolution:A formal apology from CVS for the delay and inconvenience. An explanation of why this issue occurred.A review and improvement of staff training to ensure smoother processing of ****** coupons in the future.?Sincerely,******* *****Review fromNola B

1 starMy son is newly diagnosed with an autoimmune condition. We have been waiting for his medications for days just for them to say another 48 hours for review. His skin will literally break down if he doesnt not get his medication so 48 hour is a long time to him. We are now seeing the breakdown due to not having his medication. Why is it taking so long when it is list Urgant!! This is neglect on the pharmacys part and I am so frustrated to see my son in pain and people being so unconcerned about Urgant cases!Review fromrebekah c

1 starI just experienced yet another instance of racial profiling at a CVS location in ***********, and I feel compelled to speak up.I stopped by this CVS because I had a dentist appointment just down the street. I was early, a bit hungry, and wanted to browse around to pass the time. As I was walking through the store, texting on my phone and casually looking at a few items, a staff member either white or Hispanic approached me from behind and asked if I needed help. I replied that I was just browsing. I genuinely wasnt looking for anything specific, though I had a couple of items in mind I might purchase.Within seconds of that interaction, I heard him call for security over the radio. Because this isnt the first time Ive experienced something like this, I knew exactly what was happening. I continued shopping calmly, still unsettled, and eventually went to check out with the two items I chose. As I stood in line, another call came over the intercom: Security to the front. No one ever came, but the message was clear my presence and my browsing were perceived as suspicious.Let me be clear: window shopping is not a crime. Walking around a store and browsing without grabbing something immediately is not suspicious behavior. Its normal. And yet, as a Black woman in ***********, I continue to be treated as if Im doing something wrong just by existing in certain spaces. This isnt just about one store employee its a pattern Ive seen too many times at ************************* deeply disappointed and frankly, exhausted by this experience. For now, I will be transferring my prescriptions elsewhere. I cannot continue to support a business that consistently makes people like me feel unwelcome or presumed guilty simply for *********** better, CVS.this location is *******************************Review fromJohn L

1 starI want to share my bad experience with an appointment at CVS Pharmacy (***********************************). I scheduled an appointment for a covid shot for June 3 for 9 am. I received a confirmation via text and email. When I arrived for the shot, the pharmacist (who seemed very unpleasant in demeanor), told me they do not have any vaccines. I asked why I was not notified earlier or the night before. He said that the online system of scheduling appointments is all screwed up. Told me to try another place. This was a big inconvenience for me - taking time off, and traveling by public transportation for an appointment that was cancelled at the very last minute after I showed up.Review fromDonna B

1 starI'm disabled with a fractured spinal cord which can never be fixed. I am in pain 24 X7 and need to take morphine for my pain every single day. I put in a prescription to your CVS in ******, ** every month and every month they run out. I gave them my prescription on May 21st and by June 3rd they still didn't have any product and couldn't tell me when they would receive another shipment. This happens every month. This is not a prescription that you can run out of. I went to your competitor ****** and found out that they had plenty of morphine on hand. I talked with their pharmacist and asked if they have a problem every month getting in a shipment and they stated "NO". They have several companies that they purchase from so that they never run out. With that knowledge, I want an answer from Corporate CVS, why is it possible for your competitor to have several companies available to buy from but your company states they only have one available to them??? Your pharmacy knows on a monthly basis how many people will be purchasing morphine and should have an adequate supple on hand and if not have several companies available to purchase from. If your competitor is able to do it why can't you?Review fromCarrie P

1 starI have never had this happen before so hope to save someone else the trouble we went though. My daughter just had her wisdom teeth pulled and needed pain meds after trying ******* and ibrophen. The dentist called her in something stronger and the pharmacist refused to fill it. Saying it's not safe. Are you kidding me? It was prescribed by her dentist. Teeth getting extracted is very painful. She made it sound like the Dr. ****** know what he was doing. Thank goodness I was able to contact the ********* and they were able to fill her medicine at ********* with zero problems. The way that pharmacist talked to me was so unprofessional. I really think cvs should be looked into. It's just not right. I will not be using them in the future.
