    I parked in the starbucks parking lot on king st for 2 minutes to get my order and when I got back my car was booted. I was not parked in the private area of the parking lot, as I knew I wasn't allowed to park there. I was inside for 2 minutes and when I can back to the boot, I had to wait 10 minutes for him to return, although the incident with the boot took less than 5. It appears that he was parked in the back of the lot, waiting for anyone to park there so he could boot them and take their money.

    I went to park in the lot near downtown on a Sunday afternoon on 7/10 to see if a restaurant I had heard about Le Farfalle, was open. The lot clearly stated that parking was only for stores in that shopping area, one of which was Le Farfalle. I parked and went to check out the restaurant. I could not see if it was open or not, so spent a couple of minutes milling around the area to try and get more info After I came to the conclusion that it was closed, I returned to my car to find it had been booted. I received a ticket of $50 to remove the boot. The employee of Coastal Parking Management was there and I tried to explain to him that I had been parked there specifically for the restaurant. He acknowledged that the car was only there for a few minutes but said my argument did not matter since the restaurant was closed. After chatting for a while trying to explain that I shouldn't be booted for parking in the lot for the express purpose of checking on one of the stores that lot served, he gave me a number to call.

    I tried calling 7 different times over the course of two weeks and never received an answer. I would simply like a refund and to move on.

    Yesterday (08/08/22), I was parked in the Beaufain lot outside of Off Track Ice Cream. I was paying at 7:35 and came out to see that my car was booted at 7:40 (as seen in the picture). I explained the situation to both of the individuals who were working as Coastal Parking Management and they were incredibly rude. They hung up on me multiple times, would not allow me to explain what had occurred, and then got in their car and left without taking the boot off. I had to flag them down again and they wrongly charged me for something that was set up to get me to pay $50. I demand a refund and an apology. I have called multiple times, left multiple voicemails, and never received a response.
