Do not waste your money. In store we found the chair we wanted. Paid $999.99 FOR A FLOOR MODEL (that their employee drug across the concrete and loaded in the truck, asking my 120 pound wife to help lift it, and we later found the power cord frayed) and brought it home. Look online later that evening to find a manual and the chair showed up ON THEIR WEBSITE at $699.99. Called the store, but since we already brought it home there is nothing they can do. If we hadnt brought it home and decided to pick it up later, they would have price matched. This is a classic we got your money, now you mean nothing to us. Purchased $4,300.00 of merchandise from Ashley Furniture, River Highway, Mooresville, **************. **************** is great while you are purchasing but DO NOT EXPECT ANYTHING AFTER THAT!!!! They do not make any concessions AT ALL even if you are a loyal Ashley Furniture customer.I am now stuck with two pieces of furniture that I am not happy with and they will not allow me to return them. Although I called same day as merchandise was delivered and asked to return it because it is not the quality I was expecting I had already signed for delivery therefore they refused. Also found out thru this process that prices on their own website are lower than store prices (BUYERS BEWARE.check on line prices before you purchase) and they will let you pay that unless you show them the on line price then they apologize and agree to give you the on line price. I find that to be deceiving.shame on Ashley Furniture.Overall I am Appalled and I will never step foot in another Ashley Furniture Store ever!Ashley HomeStore

UNACCEPTABLE!!!! Concessions can be made but Ashley Furniture (Mooresville) chooses not to do so.i am now forced to keep 2 pieces of poor quality furniture that I do not want.CUSTOMER SERVICE/SATISFACTION IS NOT A PRIORITY AT ASHLEY FURNITURE.I want to exchange and purchase a better quality set at Ashley but they are refusing to let me do so but continue to provide me with the same well-scripted responses. We purchased a very expensive sofa along with the insurance that was offered to us. Unfortunately, after only a short period of use, the sofa showed significant signs of wear and is clearly not the same quality as what was presented to us in the store. A technician was sent to repair it, but within a week the same issues returned. Since then, we have tried to reach a compromise and find a solution, but without success. We are very disappointed with both the product and the service, especially given the high price we paid.Ashley HomeStore

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to Mr. ******* and Mrs. ******** concerns regarding the condition of their seating.On June 3rd, a master craftsman from our service team visited the home to inspect the reported issue of seat sinking. During the evaluation, the technician found no defect or structural damage to the seat deck that would be contributing to the concern. However, it was determined that the cushions had broken down significantly, which could have contributed to a feeling of uneven support. To address this, the technician replaced the affected cushions during the appointment.We attempted to follow up with Mr. ******* and Mrs. ******* by phone on June 5th], but were unable to reach them or leave a ************ this time, we consider the matter resolved, as service has been completed and corrective action has been taken. We bought a dresser at Ashley furniture and it broke in less than a year. We paid for the warranty and they sent someone to fix it. He said the part will be in two weeks. A month later we called to check and they said they didnt have us on file. They forwarded it to someone who could help us. A 2 weeks later we called again and we have been calling and emailing for 2 months and getting no where. ******** has a whole page of people called complaints for Ashley furniture. I am not alone. They will take your money and do nothing g to help you. Ashley furniture is a bunch of scammers. I have called 3 times, sent emails, did a live chat and every time they pass me off to people who dont reply. The furniture is cheap and the customer service is terrible. They out source it to people who cant help you. Dont buy warrenties and dont waster your money.Ashley HomeStore

1 starI ordered home Furnishing 2 weeks ago. My address was scheduled at ****** with the salesperson as this is a new subdiviion. Delivery scheduled 2 weeks out from date of purchase. Date scheduled was 4/12/25. Given a 4 hour window of time from 2:30-*****. Later tine changed from 2_5pm with warning that soneone needed to be at home or there woukd be a charge to reschedule. Approximately 3/4 days before delivery I Received a Iext stating could not find the address. I provided the address info again and noted that it was a new subdivision.. No further contact info was requested from me so ai believed the situation was resolved. On 4/12/25, I changed my schedule to wait at the home from 2-5pm. Received a text appr. 4:30pm. that my delivery was appr. 40 min away. I WAITED. Appr. 5:45, Received a phone call from someone who stated they could not find my home..It was determined that they were in another town ******* that was never mentioned at anytime during my transaction. ( Please note that exact times may differ slightly as I am still upset from all this traumatic experience. . The delivery man put me on hold for apor. 10 min. came back to the phone and said he was 45 minutes away from me and could not deliver my furniture as his other clients would be delayed. He said i would need to call Ashley Store to reschedule. I called the store and spoke to the only intelligent person during the whole ordeal. She tried to remedy the situation after I explained all the waiting. but wasn't able to give me another delivery date because it was the weekend..I then requested a complete refund. She could not give a refund as I would need to talk to my salesperson who was not at the store today. She would have him to call me tomorrow but ai still would not get my refund until 7-10 days. One of the worst experiences of my life whereas I waited all afternoon with no service only to be told I would need to wait longer because the store personnel failed to follow simple direction.Review fromLarrhon H

On 02/21/2025, my husband and I went to Ashley furniture on Capital Blvd. We spent about $950 to $1000. We had to cancel due to the home we are renting being sold. We reached out to the Capital store on 03/16/2025 to cancel the order, we were told someone would cancel it for us. The order was not cancelled, it was put on the delivery truck and sent out to be delivered. We werent able to get the order officially canceled until the 19th and no one was ever able to explain why. After speaking to customer service, was told my refund check would be sent out. A week later I called to speak with customer service concerning my refund check. I was then told that refunds are only sent out on Thursdays, mind you I cancelled my order on a Sunday and it was in the system by Wednesday. They told me that my check could not be sent out on 03/20 because it was too close; I was advised it would be sent out on 03/27. After speaking to customer service I reached out to the Capital store to inquire on why I was not told refund checks are only sent out on Thursdays and I was advised that they were never aware of that procedure. After looking through all my documents and emails, searching the Ashley website, I was unable to locate any information stating refund checks are only sent on Thursdays. It does say your refund will be processed in 10 business days and when I questioned customer service and the store, I was told that the 10 days included from the time of cancellation to the time I get my refund, I was not told they do not issue the refund until the Thursday AFTER the 10th day. As of today, 04/01/2025, my refund check has not been issued. I spoke with Ashley and ****** in customer service and they told me that my refund check would not be issued until 04/03. This has been 3 weeks of wasted time and energy that we could have all saved if they would have cancelled the order. I would NOT recommend shopping with company as a whole. My husband and I bought a loveseat from Ashley and within a week we had to make a phone call for someone to come out to fix it. The pillows keep sinking and my husband is not a heavy man and its like sitting on the ground. The cushions do not stay where theyre supposed to be and a couple of times my husband almost slid off the loveseat. I do not advise anybody to buy anything from Ashley home store. We still owe money on it and as soon as we do and we are allowed to burn its going in the burn barrel all cut up. It is a disgrace that they sell such c***Ashley HomeStore

1 starI wish I could give 0 stars! This has been the worst service you could possibly imagine. We ordered a bedroom set and TV stand with fireplace almost 5 months ago. We were quoted 3-5 weeks and have never once received a phone call. We finally got some of our order that was supposed to be white glove delivery and set up for us. Instead the guys said oh no we dont know how to set this up and left boxes and styrofoam for us to clean up. We have now had 3 more trucks attempt to deliver our bedroom furniture while we took apart our bed set and have been sleeping on the floor since we were told it would be in that day. Today the delivery driver said oh no we dont have the bed just the foot step then he said oh ya we know we get complaints all the time about this type of stuff. When we call for the managers they have the appointment team call back to schedule another partial delivery. My experience was horrible and definitely my last. I purchased a bed with a sales representative. The sales representative and trusted ordered the wrong base for my king size bed. She ordered a queen size base instead of a king size base. Two months later they corrected the mistake. I didnt pay on my credit card until they rectify the problem. So now I go to pay my monthly bill and the bank they used to finance my furniture had taken without my authorization ******* out of my account. This has been the worse experience ever in my life from buying furniture. Dont use Ashley Furniture or synchrony bank they are scams.Ashley HomeStore

To save you reading a novel, the concise version is they are not honest (prices double in the store compared to online prices), charge for delivery if purchased in the store vs. free delivery online, offer mattress "90-night comfort guarantee" then refuse to take return of the mattress. Completely botched the delivery/exchange. Never replied to emails or texts regarding issues. Incredibly horrible customer service. I would never ever recommend anyone shop at this place of business.
