I received a notice that I have a collection from WORLD FIN on my credit report. It says it was opened on $573 for ************ with account number starting in ************ that I am not aware of nor am I responsible for. I never went into business with this company or signed any agreements with them so they should not be reporting anything on my credit. This is a violation of my rights as a consumer according to the FCRA and FDCPA.

I would like for this collection to be removed asap or I will file a CFPB and FTC report.

I'm following up on a complaint I submitted against company for innacuratley reporting my account late I received response and it is contradicting from the response company stated my first date of "delinquency " was on March 30 2021 but payment shows marked on time from companies response letter on the screenshot of my report there is late payments marked late from December 2020 all the way to August 2021 which shows marked on time for April, July and August and no payment information for remainder months on document provided by world finance how is that possible. I'm asking that this tradeline be removed from my credit report for failure to accurately report and going against my consumer rights.

In her complaint Ms. ******** stated that World inaccurately reported the date of first delinquency as March 30, 2021,

      • Ms. ******** obtained the loan on September 18, 2020, with a monthly payment schedule of $76.00 to be paid

On February 16th I made a normal monthly payment of $203, then on February 17th I had an unauthorized debit from my checking in the amount of $185. I immediately contacted the company, several times over several days, without any response, so I eventually called my local branch, they were able to locate the additional payment, but could not see that it reduced my overall loan balance & looked to be "just sitting there" and they were "appalled" that it was unauthorized, so they said that they would contact corporate on my behalf "but they may not answer them either". I haven't heard back from anyone on this issue, I absolutely no longer want to do business with a company that takes unauthorized payments & is irresponsible with how they run their business. I'd like to see my loan paid in full, for their irresponsibility & lack of customer service. If I had not paid my bill, they call none stop, but they have messed up & I cannot seem to make contact with them, nor as anyone offered a resolution.

      Dear Ms. R*****:

This letter is in response to the above-referenced complaint filed with your office on May 26, 2023, and received by
our office on May 30, 2023.

In her complaint Ms. ***** stated that an unauthorized payment was made on her account.

Ms. ***** obtained a loan from our Jasper, TN branch on April 29, 2022, in the amount of $6290.00 and agreed to
repay it in (34) monthly installments of $185.00 starting on May 29, 2022. She has made 11 payments totaling
$2,355.00. Please see attached the account’s transactional history as evidence.

The two payments in question show on the account as:
2/14/2023 PA CUBT (online payment) $200.00
2/16/2023 PA CUBT (online payment) $185.00

Based on our review of the payments posted it was confirmed that they were made via an online portal and were
not part of recurring payment set-up. Authorization for the payments was made at the time the payment information
was entered into the portal. World does not save card information on any on single transaction payments. Therefore,
the cards/accounts used in payment were entered in at the time of the transaction as well as the authorization
      approval.

As always, World seeks to assist Ms. *****. If she is having difficulty making payments, she may reach out to the local
branch directly, or she may contact our Customer Care center at ************** so we may attempt to be of further
      assistance.

      To Whom This May Concern:
I have contacted your company numerous times by phone, mail, and email. All documents requested by your company (police report, detective's letter, FTC identity theft affidavit, copies of IDs, proof of address) were submitted multiple times by certified mail and by emails to ****************************** and ************************************. Nevertheless, your company keeps reporting the fraudulent loan of $3,957 issued on August 10, 2022 to all credit bureaus monthly, effectively destroying my credit and bringing my score down from 850 to 705 and my insurance premiums up.
Your company issued this loan without exercising due diligence on the loan application. The SSN was mine, but the name and address were very different from my credit records. No verification of employment with employer reporting my wages to Social Security administration was done either. Not only my name and address were not verified, your company reported new name and new address under my SSN to credit bureaus in connection with this loan.
      Please:
      1. Take the fraudulent loan off my records in its entirety.
      2. Send me copies of the documents you used to verify the accuracy of my account. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1681g I have the right to demand that you disclose to me all of the documents that you have recorded and retained in your files at the time of this request concerning the accounts that you are reporting in my credit report. Please don’t respond to my request by saying that these accounts have been verified. Send me copies of the documents that you have in your files that were used to verify them. If you do not have any documentation in your files to verify the accuracy of the disputed account, then delete it immediately as required under Section 611(a)(5)(A)(i). By publishing these inaccurate and unverified items on my credit report and distributing them to 3rd parties you are damaging my reputation and credit worthiness.

I did my taxes with this company. I received a letter from IRS stating $300 was owed to me and that they sent it to World Finance to give it to me. I would then need to go into world finance and pick up the check. Well when I went the other day, they refused to give me the check and first acted like they knew nothing about it. They then told me I would have to submit a form to the IRS before I could get payment. I've spoken to the IRS twice and they said that is not true.

This letter is in response to the above-referenced complaint filed with your office on April 28, 2023, and received by
our office on May 01, 2023.

In her complaint Ms. ****** stated that she received information from the IRS regarding a refund that was sent to
World and when she went to the branch, where she was denied the refund.

Ms. ****** had her 2021 taxes in February of 2022 with World and was notified that a tax refund check was available
to pick up. Ms. ****** did not come to the branch until recently to claim the tax refund check. Due to the late date

ID to be sent with that affidavit. Ms. ****** informed the branch at that time that she did not have a valid ID. She
did indicate to the branch that she would return with a valid ID so the affidavit could be completed.

As of the date of this response Ms. ****** has not returned to the branch with the requested valid ID.

FCRA §604(a)(2). World’s position is that those regulations are concerning credit reporting agencies (“Agencies”).
World is not an Agency, nor do we publish credit reports. World’s obligation under FCRA is to furnish accurate
account information for a total of seven years from the date of first delinquency to the Agencies.

agreed to repay it in (6) monthly installments of $73.00 starting on December 11, 2019. No payments were made on
this account, and the date of first delinquency is listed as February 29, 2020. The account was charged-off due to
lack of payment on June 25, 2020. World received a payoff in the amount of $507.60 on July 30, 2020.

World has not and does not find any inaccuracies in the information being furnished for Ms. *******’s account.
World’s obligation under the FCRA is to furnish accurate account information for a total of seven years from the date
of first delinquency. Ms. *******’s account will be furnished through June of 2027.

This company sent a wage assignment to my employer. I worked it out with them and they were supposed to send a fax to my employer withdrawing the wage assignment. I've asked for this three times, they have not done it, and now my employer is contacting me. I need this taken care of and they are unresponsive.
