1 starWe got our room at 4pm and checked out by 9:30pm the same evening. The room had roaches. They couldn't find us another room so we ended up leaving and didnt even get to stay at the beach. We wasted gas, time driving there and when we called to make sure we got a full refund was told that the roaches are common. We will never ever stay at Spinnakers Resort ever again. And they are trying to sell timeshares. Who in the world would want one? Very disappointed and ****** off that it ruined our whole beach trip!!!!Review fromAgatha M

Spinnaker Resorts has engaged in shady and misleading sales tactics. I was pressured into purchasing a timeshare in 2023 with promises of flexibility and investment value, none of which have proven true. Maintenance fees have skyrocketed and are now a severe financial burden. Ive made multiple urgent requests to cancel my contract, which have been ignored. This is a predatory company, and I strongly urge others to stay away. I am demanding immediate cancellation of my contract and resolution of this matter.Spinnaker Resorts

The consumer upgraded their ownership in 2023, with first use beginning in 2024. However, they defaulted on their loan after 8 months. As a result, both the loan and associated contract were cancelled in August 2024. The consumer is therefore no longer an owner. We must respectfully refute the claims of skyrocketing maintenance fees. Only one maintenance fee billing cycle occurred following the upgrade, and there were no significant increases. Additionally, the consumer has been an owner since 2013 and should be well-acquainted with the usage options and travel flexibility available through the program.Spinnaker Resorts operates transparently, and all termsincluding financial obligations and cancellation rightsare clearly outlined in the purchase documents provided and acknowledged at the time of sale. We remain committed to ethical business practices and are available should the consumer require any further clarification regarding their former account.Review fromS. K.

This place is a JOKE! A complete waste of time and gas money spent! The location was so dead no good amenities on property! They sell you on a package worth 17k being an officer it went down to 12k still a trashy offer for no amenities, no options of things to do on site you have to have a vehicle and spend money off property in order to have fun. This place is like a hotel. Then the house they put my family in had lots of defects in the shower, no curtains dishwasher didn't work thoroughly needed to do two washes. Washing machine still had soap on clothes after the first wash. Spent over 425 for tickets to ***** gardens to only find out I was charged for all adults when there were 2 adults and 4 children 1 that couldn't even go in on any rides due to his height not even his age! They are now refusing to redund the ticket that wasn't used! A waste of time.Spinnaker Resorts

We regret that this guest was dissatisfied with their experience. Its important to clarify that the guest was not an owner but rather a vacation package holder who toured the property. They stayed in a two-bedroom condo from May 6 to May 12, 2025.On May 10, the guest contacted the front desk regarding curtains in the bedroom. It was explained that the unit is equipped with blinds and a decorative valance, which is the standard design. No other concerns about the unit were communicated to staff during the stay.On May 12 the guest requested a refund for six ***** Gardens tickets, stating that two children and one adult did not go on any rides, and they were unable to use the meal vouchers due to restaurant availability. We explained that once tickets are scanned, they are non-refundable, and it is the responsibility of the guest to plan their visit accordingly.A return call was made on May 19, but the guest disconnected after our representative introduced themselves. The guest then called again on May 21, and we reiterated that scanned tickets could not be refunded. We also provided clarification regarding meal voucher usage and noted that the timing and availability of restaurants are outside of our control.Contrary to the guest's claims, the resort features a wide range of on-site amenities, including multiple swimming pools, an indoor aquatic center open year-round, hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms, a fitness center, tennis courts, basketball courts, playgrounds, and barbecue grills. Guests also benefit from access to Kings Mill amenities. We understand the guests disappointment with aspects of their ****************** visit, but we respectfully maintain that we are unable to control any aspect of their ****************** visit as we are not affiliated with them. As such, we are unable to offer reimbursement for theme park tickets that were used.S. K.

These people are complete liars and full of trash! They are the reasons why I would never go on another tour visit or ever want to visit! It was explained to several staff of issues! For starter we arrived at 2am on the 10th! When we arrived I called at 7am to the front office on the 10th and spoke with staff told that housekeeping doesn't get in till 8am! Waited till 10 ask to speak with housekeeping and they had no idea what I was talking about! Around 2pm a MAINTANCE guy came and nailed up sheets to the valence to make the room a little darker even though the sheets were paper thin and made not much a difference! When the maintenance guy came he was showed EVERYTHING that was wrong with the unit! He stated he will report it to the front and wait on thier instructions! I called spoke with front desk again and told by the agent they will send another maintenence out to look at the issues! No one ever came so we went to the market to get some food, came back and told they left for the day! Following day went to the presentation and spent well over 2 hours in the presentation when we were told 90 mins! They served cold pizza, and toured the facility. Being a officer we were given a 5k discount! I told them I was not interested due to issues with the unit and no amenities being offered! After the presentation went to the front office the lady in the front charged me for 6 adults! I had 2 adults and 4 children! My youngest is 4 and was short! But ***** gardens go by the height! Which is what I explained to Diamond! So they never scanned my sons ticket! I didn't have dinner for 3 of those tickets and asked for a partial! I never called asking for a refund on 6 tickets! So that's stupid! I asked for a full refund on 1 ticket and a $20 refund for each person missing dinner! So total $60 for food missed! It's not our fault either that the ***** garden didn't honor those tickets and give the food when asked! When I spoke with diamond I explained to her I never received a phone call! She then read me a different number the lady called which makes sense why she was hung up on! Idiots! She never called me! This is part reason why I refuse to ever do buisness with your establishment again and glad I dodged the bullet! Yes I lost 150 for a unused ticket! Missed food! Gas for traveling! 3 hrs in presentation since we were told to go back the day after as well! Rental cost! And 8 hrs of driving one way to go to a crappy accommodation and crappy customer service! Wasted lots but will make more! I ***** it up like a loss and now warn people on this stupid location and crooks and my experience!Whoever reads this beware! Do not waste your time! Trust me you will thank me later! Total waste of time! I would have gotten way more going to the Hilton a warm breakfast at least! Here you don't get anything at all but a pool that's dirty and not cleaned that's outside. Never seen the inside pool cause they were closed! Never seen a sauna because it wasn't working! This place charges so much and give you TRASH!Review fromBard S

After incessant robocalls I decided to purchase a two vacation package to get them off my back and frankly, the offer sounded good. I explained to the sales agent my wife passed away two-years prior and would therefore not be traveling with me. The calls stopped, but when I went to book the vacation I was informed that I could not travel because my wife would not be traveling with me. I offered to send them a copy of the death certificate and even bring my wife's ashes but they declined and there would be no refund. OK, on the recorded "quality service" portion of the call they agent listed my wife's name along with about 15 other details and I said yes. The question was "is your wife's name ... " which was true. He did not say "will she be travelling with you?" They also had my address incorrect but since I had already discussed both matters with the other agent (off the recording) I let it slide. So, now Spinnaker is refusing to refund my payment because my wife it dead. Great customer service. Final thought, hey, it's a time-share company. It's what they do. ******.Spinnaker Resorts

The consumer purchased a vacation package in January 2025 and agreed to the terms and conditions of the offer, which clearly state that single men do not qualify for the promotion. At the time of purchase, the consumer provided his wife's information and confirmed it during the recorded verification call. The sales agent confirmed several personal details, including the name of his wife, and the consumer affirmed each ****** was not until May 7, 2025, when the consumer contacted us to book the package, that he disclosed his wife had passed away in 2020. Had this information been shared at the time of purchase, the package would not have been sold to him, as he would have been ineligible under the offer requirements. On May 8, 2025, the consumer filed a credit card dispute. As a result, the package was cancelled and a full refund was issued on May 9, 2025. While we regret any frustration experienced, the resolution was handled promptly following the dispute.Review fromTed P

My name is **, and I am furious after being blatantly scammed by one of Spinikers predatory phone schemes. Let me be clear: I was ripped off, lied to, and treated with total disregard the moment I asked for my money back.On April 15, 2025, I received a call from someone claiming to represent Spinaker Resortshe introduced himself as "******." He aggressively pushed a so-called "vacation package," and we went over the conditions required to qualify. The only issue was that the person accompanying me needed a valid ID. I told him immediatelyand this was during the recorded portion of the callthat my companion did not have a valid ***** that point, ****** stopped the recording. Then, off the record, he conveniently offered to redo it and lie on tapeleaving out the part about my companion's ID altogether. That alone should raise red flags about the integrity of your entire operation. When a woman called me the next day to "verify" the package, she explicitly stated that my companion would, in fact, need an ID. When I reminded her what ****** had promised, she said shed look into it. Of course, I never heard from her again. I called back, got ****** on the phone, and was told flat-out that my companion did have the required IDsomething he knew full well was falseand that there was nothing I could do about it..Spinnaker Resorts

We are sorry to hear that ** feels dissatisfied with their experience. However, we would like to clarify the facts surrounding this situation. On April 15, 2025, the consumer purchased a vacation package during a recorded call with one of our representatives. During that call, both the representative and a manager clearly stated that all guests are required to present valid identification upon check-in. This requirement was reiterated in the verification call and is standard across all our promotions. On May 6, 2025, a credit card dispute was filed by the consumer, identifying the purchase as fraudulent (card-not-present). In response, the vacation package was cancelled and fully refunded. We take all allegations of misconduct seriously and reviewed the recorded calls in question. At no point was any directive given to misrepresent the ** requirement. The calls clearly support that this condition was communicated multiple times. We believe this matter has already been resolved appropriately with a full refund issued.Review fromDevin H

1 starWe have been incredibly frustrated with our experience with Spinnaker. Despite their repeated high pressure sales calls, I have called their owner services several times but no one ever answers, and when we leave messages, we never get a call back. Our main intention is to cancel our timeshare, but Spinnaker has been giving us the runaround, making it impossible to proceed with our cancellation. What was supposed to be a straightforward process has turned into a series of unanswered calls and unreturned messages. We are left feeling stuck and extremely disappointed with their customer service.
