I haven't entered upon nor have I signed any agreement with Launch Servicing LLC related to any loans. I've tried on numerous occasions to have Launch Servicing LLC send a complete and thorough accounting of the aforementioned account dating back to 2007. They keep attempting to change the date the account in question was opened, while simultaneously refusing to provide the necessary documentation of which I have asked for!

Not sure how my personal complaint compares to any "mass marketplace" wording, but this is MY experience with Launch Servicing LLC !! No third party involvement in this dispute, just trying to get some clarification on an item. Are you guys PRO COMPANY  or PRO CONSUMER? I thought the BBB represented my best interest in this matter

I have an ISA with Clasp for a school loan. The terms of the loan are that I owe 10% of my gross income every month unless I make less than the threshold required for repayment ($40,000) yearly. I submitted 2 W-2s to them for the calendar year of 2024 for them to calculate my repayment amount. When I received the results, Clasp claims I made 68,250 which is NOT what is reflected on the W2s I submitted. My total gross income for 2024 was $62,394.28. Additionally, I was laid off on 4/30/2025. This would mean my yearly salary for 2025 (January 1st-April 30th) would be roughly $21,000 which is $19,000 below the repayment threshold. I am currently unemployed but my loan was not placed in deferment as it should have been according to the loan terms. I submitted documentation that said I was employed until April 30th 2025, signed and dated. I also included a termination letter from my employer. Neither the calculation for last years income is correct, nor is the calculation for what I owe next month. They also are not calculating my salary multiplied by the number of days employed for 2025. My loan should be deferred until I find employment again, according to THEIR loan terms. This is extremely shady and I've had no issues with this company before but for some reason all the math is suddenly wrong and I don't see how it's legal to miscalculate the repayment and attempt to hold me responsible to pay mathematically incorrect statements. The call center said they would submit a ticket and they could see it was incorrect but this is seriously alarming for a company who is in charge of many loans. If it happened to me, it's happening to others who just don't notice the discrepancy and are being ripped off.

I am seeking removal of late payment notations (March 2024, September, November, and December 2023) from my Launch Servicing personal loan, which is now fully paid off. The late marks occurred during a period of personal hardship, but I have since completed the repayment in full and made consistent efforts to restore my credit. Despite multiple requests for a goodwill adjustment, Launch Servicing has refused. I believe this is unnecessarily punitive, especially since the account is closed and no longer poses a credit risk. I’m asking for these marks to be removed out of fairness and consistency with industry standards on goodwill removals.

I originally got a loan from ******* *** **** for my solar panels, which were then sold to *****. Afterward, ***** sold the loan to Launch Service LLC. One day, I was looking at my bank account and noticed two payments had been taken out of it. So, I called Launch Service about this issue, but the agent only argued with me, claiming he did not see this issue. So, I contacted my bank, and they got my funds back. The following month, I caught two payments again, but not the exact amounts, so I reached out to Launch Service again. This time, this agent caught the issue and noticed someone else's account was attached to my banking account, so I was basically paying that person's loan as well. The company wanted me to prove that my bank account belonged to me and wanted my bank information, so I hung up and called my bank, and again, I was able to get my money back. Now I’m in March. I paid my bill early but received an email stating that my payment was delinquent and that I was being charged a late fee. I wish I had never dealt with getting the panels in the first place. They lied about the coverage, so I’m paying both solar and lights monthly.

In August 2024 Launch Servicing/SunStrong took over SunPower when they went into bankruptcy. This company has been extremely difficult to work with and not very helpful. My husband died in February 2022 and we’ve had automatic payments through my checking account ever since.. when I called them for help or information with my solar energy, they refused to give me any information because I was not on the contract. However, they had no problem taking the money out of my checking account. I faxed multiple pieces of paperwork to get a change of event on my account, each time asking for confirmation of receipt, which I never got. When I called back several times they said they hadn’t received the information so I had to refax it. The owner of the fax place even faxed it for free as he knew he faxed it already. The final form to get the change of event completed was impossible to fill out. The online form would not fill out, so I thought I had to print it and fill it in. However, when I printed the form, it printed out the size of a Post-it note. Finally I did reach someone who walked me through it, which could’ve been done months earlier if anybody would’ve been helpful. In February I was on the account, but they charged me $200.49 instead of the $192.99. When I reach out to them, they said I had to sign up for automatic withdrawals, and I said I already had. Now they won’t refund my $7.50. They gave me a ticket #******* requesting a refund, which she said I probably wouldn’t get. You never get a person that can actually help you. They always tell you to go to *******************************. Which is useless. I even got an AI thing that couldn’t help me. My question wasn’t in a category he had. Now my app that tells me if my solar system is working, isn’t connected and they won’t help me. This company is terrible. Definitely not into customer service! When you have a problem they don’t help but they’re very good at collecting money. I hope it works this summer.

In April of 2023 I was approached by a Sales Representative ** *** *** ***** *y the name of ***** ********. He made a great salespitch of the savings of using Solar Panels and how much it would save me on my electric bill. ***** told me that months 1-13 my payments would be -0- this would give the solar panels time to start working. ***** said that from month 13 through 312 my payments would be $111.00 per month. My interest rate would be 2.99% and I qualified for the Xcel Solar"{Rewards Incentive- Income qualified disproportionately Impacted Communities. I got a notice from E********* that they had taken over the *** *** ***** billing and my interest rate was now 3.66$ and my payments are $156.00 per month. I called E********* to discuss the contract changes and was sent a new contract with my signature page that I had never seen before. I am a 63-year-old disabled woman. There is no way I would have decided on getting solar panels at this cost. This cost is more than my electric bill. I called ***** and B** *** **lar several times and never received a return call. I drove to their Office and they are out of business. When I had my taxes done last year my Tax Accountatntold me that she had seen several people that had been scammed by Big Dog Solar. She suggested I obtain legal council. I can't afford to get an Attorney therefor I am coming to you to see if you can help me.
