      Uses outdated technology which would force me to pay twice for notarized document. Rejected my legally notarized document and held up my order for over a week with back and forth emails. Finally cancelled order.

      Great resource but Your website has a defect where it only lists the fathers on birth certificates if parents are married. My parents were not married but both signed my original birth certificate and it’s on record at my place of birth. Your system tried to take him off. Please fix this.

      Placed order online for death certificate on 2/6/24. When I received the Order Confirmation email, it showed I would be charged much more for the death certificate. They charged me for death certificate $45, *** Air $21, VitalChek Fee $13.50 and my order total came to $79.50. Their website made it seem like this was a fast and easy way to get the certificate. In the order confirmation is showed an Estimated delivery by: 09/03/24! I can't wait till September for certificate and want to be reimbursed. I have called and cannot get a person on the phone. Please advise individuals not to use this company.

      I ordered a copy of my marriage certificate on Monday, March 4, 2024. The site states that it takes 1-2 business days for them to process my request. It has been 4 business days and I reached out to VitalChek to see if there was something we could do to speed up the process. It has now been over 24 hours since my email was sent and no one has responded to me. I did not put a rush on my certificate because time allowed for me to receive the document before I need it, however, I am worried I will not receive it in time because they are not abiding by their time line. The fact that no one has responded to my email inquiry makes this very worrisome.

      VitalChek took my order in September 2023, with a January 2024 delivery promise.
      I have heard nothing since.
      The website form to get an update is non-responsive - directs to a phone number.
      No one answers the phone - it's always "high call volume, please call back later."

      Vitalchek is a MASSIVE scam, do not order from them. They take your money and then don't send anything.
      I never received the birth certificate that I paid $50 for - I spoke to 3 "customer service" reps, who all refused to offer a refund or any assistance in sending a new one.

      When ordering a death certificate of a family member who recently passed away, I was encouraged to order online through VitalChek because the next in person appointment is a few days away. The price of the death certificate and processing fee are a little ridiculous, but such is life. I paid to have the item delivered by **** air to obtain it in a timely manner. I was not told it was going to take UP TO THREE WEEKS to be delivered. Why the heck am I paying almost threw times the amount to receive it weeks later than if I went to the office in person?? If it was communicated before hand, I would NOT have purchased their service. I'd give zero stats if I could!
