  I Did The Work They Got Paid!
  Simple screw- I paid them in oct 2022 for a birth certificate now it's March no birth certificate and lots of excuses. You will not reach them on phone but only emails.
  In March I research on line and snail mail self addressed envelope to my birth city the local Health department. They called me to verified
  My information...Now it the first week of April 2023 just received my birth certificate from local health department that that called me ....
  So it cost me $50 to this company and no refund or birth certificate per email.
  And $15 for 1 both certificate from my local Health department...
  Why am I giving any stars?.LoL.

  Received "birth certificate" with all names and cities mispelled. No help getting it corrected other than a phone number to call the Dept. of Records where no one answers phone or 3 VMs. I had to reorder through the Dept. of Records, which was cheaper than VitalCheck cost. DO NOT USE THEM!

  I paid VitalChek for a death certificate for ********* **********. I received a letter from the state stating they could not issue me one. I contacted VitalChek 3 or 4 times for a refund and they never sent my money back. I got no service from them and no refund. BB should do something about this company. They're taking money and not providing a service.

  I ordered a birth certificate through their website 5 months ago and have not received a single piece of correspondence from them since they took my money. They have consistently failed to answer any phone calls I make and even my state senator's office cannot reach them. At this point I would just to get a refund.

  Horrid experience, incompetent and unconcerned with the business of obtaing records, always a run around. I have submitted the same documents multiple times, and their "site" does not work.

  5 months. That’s how long their express shipping took. Technically I still don’t have it but I just got a shipping notification. I tried to cancel 2 months ago but they said it was impossible to cancel. Scam company.

  Crooks & fraudulent!
  So with the help of a family member( sister ) in another state we attempted to obtain a death certificate for my daughter who passed away over 30+ years ago! We had correspond with emails after many failed attempts with calling. We where later asked to provide information of within 6days/of identification. ( Driver license) was submitted 3/23/2024:
  3/ 24/2023-We later got an email which said payment failed ( which is a blessing ) After I began to research the histroy of this fraudulent ***''s. After they recived all personal information update. Now we are left wondering if it has or will be compromised? We will place block ?? on attempt of payments we have concern for others who did get charged & never received product of services .
  As an certified advocate I have decided to submit this complaint & with BBB, also will be bring to the attention to the Attorney General.
  I also recommend that others do the same! Also bring it publicly to the attention by all social media outlets! This type of behavior is UNEXPECTEDLY a disaster to consumers.
  I find it more intresting & intriguing that they couldn't be contacted by phone even after many attempts! And placed on hold several hours. The recording went from 7:am to 7:pm , but suddenly went to 7days aweek to 24hrs. Oddly to say.

  It took 7 months to get my birth certificate! When I called them, after 6 months, they said they were just beginning to work on requests sent 6 months ago. They used the poor excuse of a month-long COVID closure, except offices have not been closed due to COVID for over a year, so they are saying they still hadn’t recovered after a year. Their solution is to change how long they says vital records requests are going to take, not improve performance and reduce the time required. I was able to get a duplicate social security card from the federal government in 3 weeks time. I do not know if there is any other mechanism to get your birth certificate from NY, but if there is, I recommend you go that route instead.

  I'm from L.A. and live in MN now. I tried to order a copy of my B.C. through them but they said I needed all these additional verifications and they charge to much. SoI cancelled, and I decided to ask my mother who still lives in L.A. to get it for me. I'm still getting emails saying "more verification needed". Long after my mother got it for me and I received it. I kept telling them I no longer needed to use their services, over and over.
  Then a few days ago they put a charge on my credit card for $9. I notified my bank immediately, and they removed the charge.
  The nerve of those people!!!
  Before contacting bank, I tried to reach out to them, but they have "absolutely no refunds" on their website and do not answer the phone!
  Professional scammers ! And backed by the government!!!!
  I am so angry! How many people just ate the $9 charge? Unbelievable way to do business!!!!!
