  I will echo what others have said. I ordered a birth certificate in support of an application for Irish citizenship, after the the State of Connecticut sent me to its website on November 30, 2022. Expected delivery date of January 5, 2023. I followed up today, and cannot access my order via their website, and the helpline has me on an endless loop. I plan to contact the State to complain about its reliance on a business that is routinely and abyssmally failing to deliver its promised service, especially after receiving highly sensitive personal information.

  Ripoff. Send a letter to your congress person to get rid of this company. Took 8 dollars from my credit card, then told me o need a notorized form before I get my birth certificate. If I had time to do they, I would have just went to the county office and got it there, without all the extra fees

  I needed the long form Birth Certificate for my son and Looking at VA vital records webpage options for fast delivery they recommend using VitalCheck. With the noticeable higher price i moved forward with filling in the application. The last piece of information they needed after filling in my payment information with the Social Security Number. This was a red flag for me because the state only asks for one for of ID like driver license or passport not a SSN. I wanted to cancel and did not find a cancellation tab, I want to go back to the application nothing happens. Closed the browser. After few minutes i got an email with order number and a PIN number. This time they asked to complete the application with a form of ID not anymore the SSN. I chose not to use them and instead to apply directly from the State. VitalChek after i logged in with the order number and in number gave me the option to complete the application or to cancel. I chose the option to cancel and as a result they charge my credit card a fee of $11.95 . If the application never been submitted, never completed based on what I git this charge. This is simply a RIPOFF and CHEATING consumers.

  CUSTOMER BEWARE. If I could give this organization zero stars, I would. The just of it is. My wife and I paid $62.45 for two birth certificates and expedited shipping and fees, 10/4/22. The documents were not sent at all. Reached out to Vitachek 12/4/22, 2 months later to check status to be told that the documents were ordered but the county was delayed, and they had no information. Asked for the ordered to be cancelled and a refund be issued. The Vitalchek stated they could not cancel the order or issue a refund; they would reach out to the county. Here we are in January 2023, still no docs or refund. Reached out to Vitalchek again. No response. No refund. No docs. This is a company of thieves. STAY AWAY.

  Vitalchek sent email stating charge nothing as unable to process my sons birth certificate yet when I checked my credit card they did charge 10$ even though email shows they did not charge. Waited one we 45 min on chat to speak with someone and once it was turn a message came up stating no one available to chat to call the number. Called the number and currenrtly have been waiting on hold for over 1 hr 20 min at this time. Completely unacceptable and deceptive to charge card after sending email showing no charge.

  My birth certificate was sent to the wrong person, the wrong address, the wrong state. All my personal data including phone number, Social Security Number, birth date, current address, legal name were all sent to a stranger. I paid $48.50 for an expedited copy. This company needs to be put out of business considering the numerous reviews at this site.

  If I could rate a zero I would! They railroaded me into paying for expedited shipping on a product (it was not an option and added $7 onto my bill) and then sold me a $20 upcharge for overnight shipping which still hasn't happened. I ordered my birth certificate on the 13th, was given an expected delivery date of the 17th, and it's now the 19th and it hasn't shipped.
  I reached out to ask why and the response? They blamed staffing shortages (while implying it was an issue they thought might arise) and passed the buck with more numbers/email addresses.
  I am very upset that they are charging more for services that they apparently KNOW or EXPECT won't be honored, so why are they charging them at all?

  Having an issue with Vitalchek , the company did not process the application for a copy of my birth certificate timely , or properly .
  Vitalchek will not take responsibility , after not receiving the certificate , eight weeks after they received payment , only after I inquired as to when I might receive , they asked me to resubmit application with an additional payment .
  There is an issue here , as I will ask New York State to review there eligibility to process document retrieval ,

  I know this is late but I attempted to order a birth certificate from these scam artists 3 years ago now and never received it, but they were more than prompt in taking my money. Phone calls and emails went forever unanswered and now when the clearly bogus order and pin number are typed into their site it says there's no record of any such order despite still having the emails and financial records to prove it on my end. I suppose I am only mentioning it now because my vital records office has started allowing in person appointments again and I will be going shortly to pick up the copy I should have had years ago. So save yourself from the aggravation and grifting of these con artists.

  Man, I should have looked at the company reviews. Stay away from this company. My documents got sent to the incorrect address and nothing was done on their end to make sure my shipping address got updated. Pretty ****** off since someone could just walk away with a copy of my birth certificate. It also took them 3 full months to process the order, in that time, I was able to find a cheaper quicker way to track down my records. Thanks for nothing, VitalCheck!
