      Paid $55 a month ago and still haven't received my birth certificate. Reached out to customer service and they won't respond. I want my money back and there's no place to request any refund.

      This is a total scam company. Do not under any circumstances place an order with them. I placed an order on 9/8/2024 for a birth certificate. It is now April 24th 2025 and I have not received it yet. It cost me almost $80 which they took out immediately and I have been trying to contact them for the past 4 months to no avail. They do not answer their phones they are always busy. I have written them at least 20 times and have not received a single reply. I think the government or at least in New York state should shut this company down from operating. They are nothing but a scam and unfortunately it seems there is no help to recoup my money. Terrible business. I believe all the testimonials to be false because there is no way they are doing that much good while ripping people off.

      I hate I fell for this scam. They have provided no update even though I am now a week past my “delivery date”, and almost 90 days post order. Don’t EVER order from them.

      VitalChek is a SCAM!!!! I have put in my information twice before I realized what a SCAM this operation is. I keep getting emails saying I am missing something but NOTHING is missing. Do NOT be a fool and fall for this SCAM!!!!

      Worst customer service I've ever experienced. We ordered a birth certificate on April 2, paid for expedited processing and shipping. They sent an email saying we need to call to correct an issue on the order form. 3 hours on hold before finally talking to someone who then deleted the entire order. placed new order on the phone. April 15, we try to check the status of the order and the confirmation and pin won't work to check on their website. Called again, 2 hours on hold this time for them to fiddle around and not have any answers, lady I talked to said the confirmation number and pin should work, and low and behold it does after she did something on their end. The problem ended up being they didn't charge us enough for the order. Paid another $25 and now it will allegedly be shipped out in two days. Still haven't received any confirmation email. Customer service reps are terrible and won't let you finish a sentence without interrupting and being rude. If I could leave a 0 star review I would.

      Worst service ever. Can’t reach anyone. On hold for 1 hour and 17 minutes. Still no one to talk to. Placed two orders over a month ago. Still have not received my certificates and it hasn’t been shipped.
      Tried to cancel it online, there is no way to do that.
      Big scam company.

      I'm disgusted with myself and this so-called company...I failed to check on the legitimacy and reviews of the company before spending the big bucks on the expedited shipping. I also called and was on hold for 2!! hours with no response. Sent email and voila next day i received message saying everything is approved and my document is projected to be here 4/8/25, a full week later than expected....we shall see if it happens. After reading these reviews I am not confident that I will even get the document at all and it sounds like a nightmare to get any kind of refund as they do not respond to their help line or support emails...

      This company is a scam. I tried to order a birth certificate. I submitted all required documentation (as listed on website) and then they tell me something else is needed. But, they don’t say what. You try to call them and it’s impossible to get through. They don’t respond to emails. They stole my $63. It’s a shame because that they appear to be state sanctioned. My state website says to use Vital Chek. Ridiculous, how they get away with it over and over again.

      What a nightmare. Ordered birth certificates 2 weeks ago and after many calls and cancels and confirmation of records availability - it’s still in processing status. Just take the time to go to your local records office. Horrible experience. Such a time waste.

      Possibly scam.
      I filled out the information then I had a the required document notorized and uploaded. It said it was going to take 48 hours for review, after 4 days I messaged them, and no reply. I messaged them several more times over the next week and a half, and no reply. It still said pending. So, I went and got a birth certificate myself at the office. I was able to delete my notorized document from the vital check site, but not my account or info. After two weeks, I was automatically charge $10.95. Customer service has not replied to any of my messages yet.
