    Cabins For You Cabins for You in Gatlinburg TN, Cosy Bear 856. Do yourself a favor do not stay in their NASTY run down cabins. Charlene Elizaled, sees nothing wrong with this cabin that they have charged $837 for two nights. The mattresses are stained with big pee spots, dead bugs, bird poop, dust, broken furniture, NASTY showers with dirt and mold. Stairs that wobble and shake when you walk down to this run down cabin. REALLY???

    Horrible. Nightmare. Never ending.
    We arrived and were greeted by the inspection member. She said she looked over everything and it all looked good. She left. We walked through the cabin and found the following: hot tub didn’t work, trash in the pool, trash on the patio, trash in the first floor bedroom, no toilet paper in the bathrooms, cabin was 76 degrees, and there was a pile of dead bugs in the kitchen. We call the number on the door mat as instructed. They tell us there is no manager but they can send someone out as soon as possible.
    Night goes on- my son takes a shower upstairs and the floor leaks into the kitchen ceiling causes it to rain on us. And he didn’t do anything different than anyone else.
    The ceiling fans barely work. The bathroom mirrors look like they have never been cleaned. The bathroom sink handles leak. The bathroom door handles are falling off and don’t lock. Maintenance came out, fixed one handle and looked at the fan. Then left. Never came back.
    My daughter takes a bath in the jacuzzi tub and when done the water never shuts off. Just keeps running. Maintenance comes out- guy can’t find the water shut off and when he does the whole cabins water has to be turned off.
    On the main floor, blinds are broken, holes in the main door, toaster doesn’t work. Chairs on the patio are broken.
    A shelf in the fridge is broken.
    Then to top it all off pool maintenance comes out to check the pool and sees that the chemicals for the hot tub are in the pool and tells us we can’t swim for over an hour because the chemicals mixed can cause a toxic gas and can harm us if we breathe in too much of it. (After it’s been almost 24 hours of us being here)
    Called to get management several times. No call back. Keep calling no return calls. It’s a joke. Don’t rent from this company ever. No one seems to care and they won’t even offer refunds or anything. Truly a vacation from hell.

    Upon inspecting the cabin we found they did not clean the cabin well at all. Crumbs all over the floors, hair on BOTH toilet seats and mold in 3 different rooms! We called Cabins For You right away. I asked if there was any way we could be moved to another cabin because we didn’t feel safe. The agent explained that we couldn’t be booked at a different cabin until housekeeping could come and say it wasn’t fixable. After being in the cabin for an hour I started having breathing issues and developing a rash on my arms. I do have asthma and the mold may have been exacerbated my condition. We got a hotel to have a safe night sleep and hopefully just get a refund from Cabins For You.When we found a hotel and got settled in we called Cabins For You and explained all the health issues I was having. They said a supervisor would call me in the morning. In the morning they emailed me a few other cabins we could be moved into. These cabins they offered were smaller than the cabin we booked, downgrades.We ended up receiving a call from Cabins For You. They asked about the cabins they sent in the email and I explained we just wanted a refund. The supervisor said they would need to get it approved and would be calling back. We never received a call back and just received an email saying our reservation had been cancelled. I ended up having to file a dispute with my credit card company to get my money back. Cabins For You responded to the dispute saying we agreed to their terms and conditions therefor we are not eligible for a refund. We had to write a detailed letter to the credit card company explaining how Cabins For You broke their own terms and conditions which entitled us to a refund. Their terms and conditions stated “immediate issues (cleaning, HVAC, plumbing, etc.) will be addressed by end of day”. Mold is a serious health hazard, which would fall under immediate issues. I am very lucky that I won the credit card dispute and was issued a permanent refund. Do not book!

    If I could give zero stars I would. This "family owned" company is a joke. I booked a cabin for 20 of my family members, as I also do every other year, in Dec of 2022 and this company sent me a confirmed reservation. I then received nothing for the next three months from them. They took the initial payment and then they took out the second payment, right after they took out the second payment, they sent me an email stating that there was a "glitch" in the system; and without even offering me any compensation or to book for a different price, they just canceled my reservation. The email said to call them, and they would be "glad" to help us find something else, only to have "supervisor" after supervisor tell us that they had nothing they could offer or do for us and said that WE needed to find something on our own. HOW DARE THEY SCREW UP AND TAKE NO ACCOUNTABILITY WHATSOEVER. My wife has called them over and over just to get the same ridiculously unprofessional response that they can't do anything about it and it's the "systems" fault, not taking ANY accountability for their inability to run a respectable/client-based company. They could care less that they have absolutely ruined my family's vacation, with pretty much no way to book another cabin with the vacation only being 4 months away. We are beyond upset with this "company" and the way they have treated us; it must be nice to screw up and ruin people's vacations and feel like you don't have to take any responsibility. Also, they still have around $2000 of my money that they said they refunded, but it's been 10 days and still nothing. After reading other sad reviews about this company, it may be time to get a lawyer and help them realize that it's not ok to do this to their customers.

    Rented a cabin for Wednesday through Saturday. We left Thursday morning. The ad for the cabin we stayed in lied about some of the things the cabin is equipped with and the driveway, the cabin was also not cleaned good Dirty laundry by the dryer, food in the microwave... It rained Thursday morning so when we left the cabin the driveway is so steep we slid out of it. I contacted them about it that morning and told them the other issues with the cabin and there was nothing she could do she said. Then after getting off the phone she proceeded to send me a message telling me to clean the cabin. We didn't even have time to unpack our stuff let alone dirty it up. I have tried several times to get someone to answer me through emails. They started sending me offers and when I started to respond to those with not so nice responses someone from "compensation" contacted me telling me he'd have to escalate the situation because it was "weather" related. Which means the lady I spoke to on the phone is a liar also. He tried giving me a measly credit.. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone and now wish I had read the reviews before I decided to go with them. What a BIG mistake!

    By no means is this how we wanted you to spend your vacation, Brandi, and we sincerely apologize for your poor experience. While we wish we had the opportunity to address your concerns during your stay, we understand the disappointment this caused you and your family. Then to make matters worse, you were left feeling uncared for. Your entire experience is unacceptable, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your honest review. We have shared your concerns with all appropriate personnel for further review to see where we can improve to prevent this from happening again. Our guests, their safety, and overall vacation experience are among our top priorities, and we cannot apologize enough that your supposed to be relaxing getaway was affected negatively. We understand that our offer was not your desired resolution. However, this is the most we can offer, given the circumstances. We would love to host a more enjoyable stay for you and your family, as this is certainly not how we operate.

    This management company does not
    Protect their clients when they rent houses that are unsafe. They are unresponsive to everything and will manage properties in any condition and deceive customers. Whiskey Ridge is a cabin that has no water pressure and unsafe water that trickles out. Faulty wiring, circuit breakers tripping with kitchen appliance use and mixed switches, it’s a fire hazard. Water floods lower bedroom, filthy place, only 2 of 9 TV’s work. Switches that spark, and turn on things in other rooms. Bottom floor has little heat. Decks are rotten…toilets are disgusting and not enough water to flush. Cabins for

    Debbie, this is certainly not how we wanted you to spend your vacation, and we regret hearing about your poor experience. It is never our intention to mislead guests, and we completely understand your frustration. Having to deal with multiple maintenance issues, poor water pressure, cleanliness issues, and other inconveniences is extremely disappointing, and we cannot apologize enough. Our guests' safety and overall experience are among our top priorities, and we are disappointed that you were made to feel otherwise. While we wish we had known about all the issues you faced during your stay, we're grateful for your honest review. We have shared your experience and feedback with all personnel involved to ensure these concerns are addressed efficiently so that this doesn't happen again. Although we did offer to move cabins for you, we understand that would have been another inconvenience for you and your group. We, again, are so sorry for the troubles you all had to endure. We would love to serve you better in the future, as this is certainly not our standard. However, we understand your hesitation to trust us again. We hope this experience does not deter you from revisiting the Smokies for a more enjoyable and relaxing getaway, no matter where you choose to stay.

    Cabins for You have responded with untruths. They were well aware of all the issues we were having while staying at Whiskey Ridge and failed to be responsive or
    Responsible. They offered us a cabin move 26 miles away with not enough sleeping quarters for my group. I asked for half of the 1500.00 I spent on this nightmare vacation and they only gave
    Me 400.00. I feel the 381.00 they still owe me is more than fair. I turned down a gift card because their business practices are less than fair. I have pictures , emails and voicemails to back up my claims if needed.thank you

    Be aware that in the Terms and Conditions, you agree to join a 'Club' when making reservations. Club membership is $14.99 a month for 12 months and you get billed each month for 12 months even if you cancel your membership. It is very easy to not notice you are agreeing to join this club as they don't make it obvious at all. I rent cabins several times each year but had never used Cabins for You before. I won't use them again because anyplace that sneaks these kinds of charges on people cannot be trusted. Too many other and better options out there.

    Terrible. We paid good money to get pool in the basement. Upon arrival the pool was freezing cold. The hot tub was almost empty. The sheets and pillow cases were filthy. Their was dirty socks in the bed. The pool never did heat up so we could use it. And the pool area was only 56 degrees! They want to give me a little credit to come back. Lol, I want some of my money back!

    Duste, we can certainly understand how upsetting your experience must have been, and we're so sorry for the issues you endured. On top of cleanliness issues, dealing with a cold pool and an empty hot tub is certainly not how we wanted you to spend your vacation. We appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention immediately. While we do try our best to ensure any reported issues are rectified as soon as possible, we sincerely apologize that we were unable to address the pool temperature during your stay. We recognize that our original offer was not ideal. However, a member of upper management has spoken to the reservation holder with a revised offer. Again, we sincerely apologize for your disappointing experience and all of the frustrations caused. We would love to serve you better in the future, as this is not the vacation we strive to provide.

    Cabins For You rented us Splash Mansion Pigeon Forge in Dec. 2022. The unit was not cleaned upon arrival, leaving us waiting in vehicles until 7:30 pm before we could checkin. We found roaches crawling and dead hard shelled bugs everywhere. Unit was dirty, cigarette butts were strewn about, smelled strongly of septic/sewage odors, beer cans and trash thrown onto outside grounds. Theatre room was non-functional and request from company for assistance was ignored, mold and mildew in bathrooms, no soap or toilet tissue in several of the baths, no mop, broom or vacuum in unit. Furniture was filthy and smelled of urine. Guttering detached from front of unit causing rain water to gush from roof in front of entryway. Drain in center of shower floor was recessed 1-2 inches causing a sprained ankle. Floors were so dirty children couldn't walk barefoot without black feet. I requested a mop and broom from Cabins For You. Rep showed up later with mop. Said they couldn't find a broom. We had to purchase a broom ourselves. We would have certainly found different accommodations had we not been a group of 26. It was absolutely deplorable. Can't believe we paid thousands of dollars for such a misrepresentation of "a luxury group cabin". Will not use Cabins For You ever again.

    Cathy, we cannot apologize enough for your poor vacation experience, and we completely understand how upsetting the issues you encountered must have been. There is no excuse for inadequate cleaning, showers that fail to drain correctly, foul smells, missing cleaning supplies, pests, and more. Your experience is unacceptable, and we regret knowing this is how you spent your vacation. We genuinely appreciate you notifying us of your concerns. We shared your comments with all department heads for an immediate inspection of the property. We will address all the issues you have reported. While all of our properties are treated monthly for pests, unfortunately, sometimes they persist despite our efforts. We are so sorry you had to deal with this during what was supposed to be a time to create lifelong memories with your party. We're glad you could speak with a member of our management team regarding your experience and come to an agreeable resolution. Please be assured we're working diligently on an action plan to prevent this from happening again. We would love the opportunity to serve you better in the future, as this is certainly not our standard. We understand your reluctance to book with us again, but we hope your next Smoky Mountain vacation is more enjoyable, no matter where you choose to stay.

    I booked a cabin called Simply Blessed from Cabins for You. I saw all the pictures and thought this cabin will be awesome for my family since it slept 10 comfortably with a discount. It was a dismal disappointment from the moment I walked in the cabin. A piece of furniture had been ripped and stuffing spilling out. The cleaning crew had left their cleaning rags and supplies on the kitchen table. The medicine cabinet was showing signs of previous occupants due to a lack of cleaning. The shower curtain had rust or mildew on it. The shower itself looked all dingy. Despite all these signs that should have made us run we thought we could make the best of it. Due to the poor lighting it took us a minute to discover the presence of black dots and rice like substance in the sheets on every bed. We googled and discovered those were signed of BEDBUGS. We were horrified. Though this rental agency gave us a refund after confirmation from the pest guy, we are still dealing with the aftermath of exposure. I looked on their website to see if a warning or disclaimer was out on this cabin as a warning to future renters. I discovered it was still up and available for rent with $300 more knocked off of the price. This annoys me because it makes it appear they knew about their infestation before I rented, since I too received a discount on the property, and they didn't care who was exposed to them. I hope there is something that can be done to assist future renters from honing through what my family and I went through on our trip.

    *******, dealing with bed bugs must have been so upsetting. Not to mention, the cabin itself had cleanliness and maintenance issues. This is not how we wanted you to spend your vacation, and we completely understand how frustrating and uncomfortable this entire ordeal must have been. While we perform prevention treatments in our cabins regularly, unfortunately, a small percentage are affected by bed bugs each year despite our efforts. We are so sorry you had to deal with this during your vacation. After check-out, we had the property treated immediately, and an extensive inspection was performed following treatment to ensure this issue did not persist. We are grateful you brought your concerns to our attention right away, and we, again, are deeply sorry for this poor experience. Your feedback has been shared with all departments for further review to help us improve for future guests. We hope this inconvenience does not deter you from revisiting the Smokies, and most importantly, we hope your next getaway is more enjoyable, no matter where you choose to stay.
