TruGreen advised Mr. ****** that the application is scheduled for Monday, 5/19/25. I hired TruGreen on 09/24 because my lawn had some bare spots. They offered an annual service of $1012 to fix them. When closing the deal, I asked several times if I had to plant new grass, and the answer was that with aeration and nutrients, they would allow the grass to grow back naturally. Several months passed, and there were no results. I called to complain, and they said this takes time. They asked me to wait until spring, but still no results. I called today to see what they can do, and they have asked me to plant new grass. Defeating the whole purpose of hiring them.Business Response

TruGreen Corporate Escalation Team spoke with *** ***** ******, today. TruGreen is in the process of refunding the charge for the aeration service in the amount of $942.57. TruGreen also agreed to contact *** ****** in the fall 2025, to go over services for 2026, and not auto renew his account, *** has agreed to this resolution. I never authorized TruGreen to provide lawn care this year. Yet they are billing me for some thing I never authorized. About a month ago I called them and after several attempts was able to speak with a person. The person on line said it is taken care of but I received the bill again. TruGreen has taken the appropriate steps to remove the balance on the account. ********************** did let the Mr. **** know the refund normally takes 3 to 5 business days. Hello,I purchased a service from TruGreen branch 5741. They promised they will apply fertilizer and weed killer to the entire lawn areas for two addresses, *************** and **************** They did not apply the fertilizer and weed killer to the lawn areas on the hillside between the homes and the lake. As a result, we did not improve those lawn areas even though we paid for the service. We would like our money back or to have one full year of hillside applications since we have only one more application remaining in June.Business Response

TruGreen has reached out to *** TruGreen has determined that the area in questions is not treatable due to it being a hill side. TruGreen has agreed to refund 50% of the pre-paid amount for both properties. We will also finish out his prepaid service doing the front and sides of both properties, then refund 50% of his prepayment. TruGreen has come to service my lawn about 4 times this year. I HAVE NEVER HIRED TRUGREEN ONCE. I am furious. I use another company and TruGreen spraying my lawn without permission is s******* up their treatments. I have told TruGreen to get off my property every single time they are here. They somehow still do not get the message and continue to show up to do services unsolicited. I am seeking compensation for the damages they are causing for my lawn and if I do not receive compensation I will contact my lawyer to file a lawsuit. TruGreen spoke with Mr. ******* and apologized for his property being treated in error. TruGreen had found that an account was set up under the previous homeowner's information, instead of that person's new address. All service's at Mr. ********* address have been cancelled. TruGreen has agreed to sending Mr. ******* a check for $300 for the inconvenience and his property being treated in error. Mr. ******* advised that there was no notable signs of damage to the lawn at this time. TruGreen will contact Mr. ******* in about 2 weeks to confirm that he has received the check. Completely burned my lawn last June. They sent someone out to sample the areas. Waited 4 months to get report. They tried to blame it on grasshoppers. Problem with that theory is i am the only one whos lawn was "killed by grasshoppers". All surrounding yards had zero affects from the grasshoppers. So, I call BS on that theory. They said they would aerate the lawn and reseed. They did do that. However, the grass is still dead in over half the yard. Both the local manager and I have spoken with Mr. ************* TruGreen will be doing an aeration and seed for his lawn at no charge. We will use a tall fescue seed this time. I will continue to monitor Mr. ****** account and follow up with him regarding the seed work on our end. TruGreen considers this BBB Complaint resolved. Became a TruGreen customer 11/21/2023 in hopes of revitalizing my existing lawn and maintaining newly installed sod in my backyard. To date, my entire front lawn and side yard is overgrown with weeds and bare spots. This is after full payment of premium services and ad hoc treatments. I responded to the BBB Complaint - early without the final resolution, by mistake. Here is an update if you can forward to the Comsumer TG would appreciate that. Update. TG has reached out to **** ******* several times. I have been able to speaker with him. TG did agree to refund both services we provided in 2025 and have taken steps to do so. TG also agreed to refund part of the 2024 service prepayment in the amount of $907.45. I have taken steps to start the refund process. i looked via web for a price for front lawn care , after seeing the outrageous prices i declined to pursue there service, shortly after that i have received well over 25 plus phone calls!! i called the customer service number and ask them to immediately stop all call or i will seek legal action against your company, his name was ***** and he was extremely rude, now today 5/08/25 a salesman came to my house to sell me services... i asked him to leave immediately and he just wanted to talk over me! i told get f!!!! of my porch.... this needs to stop or i will seek legal action.. this is 100% pure harassment!Business Response

TruGreen has been servicing our lawn for 1 year. We recently complained bc they destroyed our entire backyard lawn. They sent out a service **** who tells us that what we need is aeration. Which he proceeded to do after weve had substantial rain and the grass was very wet. He tore up the front, sides and back yard, with tire marks and muddy skids everywhere! Our grass more looks like were a newly built home before the sod is placed! The parts that were looking nice are awful now! The driveway is filthy too. We called only to have the admin say theyll record our complaint! There was no one to speak directly to. And she informed us that weve been in a drought so that shouldnt have happened! The service manager agreed to have the lawn leveled and sodded by a landscaper. The repair was originally scheduled for 5/31/25, but was delayed due to weather. The repair is now scheduled for 6/7/25. TruGreen corporate will reach out to Mr. ********* on Monday, 6/9/25, to confirm the repairs have been completed to his satisfaction.Customer Answer
