      It won't let me leave zero star. It's very disappointing service. Missed a lot of area, I mean a lot of area, for aeration. Also, 1 guy did reseeding prior to aeration. Shouldn't be aeration first before reseeding??? Btw, today is their 2nd visit, supposedly to fix their earlier aeration & seeding mistake, but they just repeated the same mistake. I don't see any changes on my lawn, actually getting worse. No sign new grass germination from the first application and weed all over the places.

      If I could give them, zero stars I would. Be careful. TruGreen is a scam. I called for one particular service and they signed me up for a series of services that I did not want or need. When I ask about that, they told me not to worry that I could always just cancel but thats the way they schedule. On top of that one of the services wouldve killed my grass. Shame on them.

      We prepaid for a year of service, and have had nothing but problems. half-a$$ed treatment that didnt include total yard. Today, I received a message that that they were at my home and immediately received a second message that our lawn treatment was complete. Total lie! The guy NEVER even showed up! I was home, have exterior cameras, and live in a gated community with a guard. Everyone of these verifies that he never came to our home! When you try to contact TruGreen, you talk to someone in *************. Virtually impossible to get someone local on the phone. I definitely do not recommend this company!

      I should have known from the first phone call that this company was going to give me nothing but issues. The first phone call I made and had gotten a quote for my summer lawn maintenance the price was too high and I decided against the services, well after a couple days and multiple different employees contacting ME I finally agreed to a contract and at a 1/4 of the price as my original estimate. The first service done the tech was awesome and professional, I was satisfied. The next 3 services, the one tech stayed in his truck for a couple minutes and just came to put a receipt on the door and didnt touch the lawn, the other 2 just did what they pleased. After multiple phone calls and complaints to customer service they sent another tech out to which happened to be the first tech that was out and he even said my yard has not changed since he was there months prior. Ive called customer service again and they still just swept me under the rug. After my final fertilization Ive had enough of the sloppy work, not being able to trust that the techs will actually perform my service as was agreed on and stated to Tru green that I wanted the money that Ive given them to be taken off the final aeration and seeding which they agreed to, well I thought so anyhow. After the aeration was complete I was told I had a $60 balance and then was charged for $122 and to top it off the guys doing the job went through my fence into my back yard and did the aeration which from the start of the service, they were never to touch my back yard. So now Im left with a front yard that looks the same as it did before, a back yard tore up from the aeration machine and out of my money given to them for a job I had high hopes of them performing! Will never use this company again

      TruGreen is the big name and they do not hesitate to refund you or dispatch complimentary services to mitigate your complaint. They have the technology and ease of business to be the Easy Button to customers. Unfortunately, my yard looks no better, their focus is on up selling and they dont perform the simple goal of professionally fertilizing my lawn to make it healthier, greener and less weeds. This is not a technician issue or a sales issue, this is a culture and management issue. Yesterday was the final event for them. Their technician sat in his truck for twenty minutes and then I left for a ten minute to drop off the kids and they were gone. On the report, it said he knocked on the door and we didnt answer and he successfully applied fertilizer. We have a ring doorbell and five cameras on the house that showed no technician. Also, they put the no pet sign at the curb in the center so if you were walking your dog, it would be too late when you see the dog. My neighbors deserve better than this and I am going to start my search for an alternative.

      Pricing and services descriptions varies daily depending on sales person. Poor and rude customer service. They will disagree with you, call you rude and hang up on you. I never had a chance to try them. Thought I bought lawn, tree, and shrub weed and fertilization but the 1st scheduled service was for insect and disease control, which was another add on service I declined, only to find out is actually part of their tree and shrub service. I canceled 6 days later unsure what I was really getting for my 1 yr prepaid service. They claimed they were at my house the same day I bought service and they have cameras on their vans. Did I have proof they weren't there for my full refund? Not sure what they will do on my full refund so I'm working with my credit card to try to get back the full amount I paid them.

      I never asked for service.... they showed up at my house, entered my yard without authorization and sprayed poison all over where my dogs free roam in the yard... all because they "got the wrong address".... The gate was locked. The person either reached over to unhook the locking carabiner or used a tool through the fence to enter and spread poison in my yard... I've called 3 times and have yet to get a response regarding this matter. Complete and utter horseSH!T!!!How do they get an address wrong, enter a locked property, and spread poison in an environment with pets?!?! They then left this at the door!!! Best of all, the only person that answered the phone from the phone tree couldn't care that they illegally entered my yard and spread poison... he simply stated " It happens sometimes when we get addresses wrong..." HOW ARE YOU IN BUISNESS?!

      In August 2023, TruGreen technician treated my scheduled lawn maintenance service. Their technician applied something that caused my lawn to die in areas where this chemical was used. In fact, they documented as "treating for broadleaf weeds in certain areas". They came out to inspect twice, speaking to me on the second visit. They recommended giving it time to and water to correct itself. Unfortunately, some areas didn't get any better. It completely died. They then sent out a manager, that would not take any responsibility for the dead patches in my lawn. I shared photos of the areas, which he denied they caused it. He made me feel disrespected and as if my eyes are lying to me. Give it time and it will fill in. I have been a loyal customer with ********************** for over ******************************************************************** the past, I have recommended them to family and friends, because they always had my lawn looking beautiful year round. Even as a loyal customer, they still treat you as ignorant and will not except responsibility for their mistakes. DON'T TRUST when they say "SATIFACTION GUARANTEED"

      They came out yesterday after it had been pouring rain for 3 days and aerated and overseeded our yard. The end result looks like a drunk frat brother did donuts in our yard while swinging a shovel at the grass. My husband had been working all summer mowing with a push mower after requesting our lawn service to stop mowing. He got the grass thickened and growing in nicely, and in the space of 30 mins, trugreen came through and destroyed it. Giant patches of grass have been uprooted and our yard is a disaster. The machine they used to do the job took out giant chunks of our grass with each turn because of how over saturated the soil was. They should not have done it after 3 days of such heavy rain. Honestly makes me want to cry looking at it knowing how it looked before. And now were worried there wont be time for it to make a comeback before the growing season ends. We are absolutely furious. Needless to say we will no longer be using their services and if our yard doesnt make a comeback, we will be suing for damages. It honestly looks like our yard was vandalized by drunk frat brothers in a golf cart.

      I only wish I had read all of these reviews before wasting my money. I have received nothing but lies and misdirection since prepaying nearly a thousand dollars. After numerous complaints, I received a call from ******, who claimed to be the general manager. He was very sympathetic and understanding, and said he had been hired to fix all of these admitted pr/oblems. He sent one of his service managers to my home to discuss the issues. In a e-mail, dated 8/18, he fervently invited me to reach out with "questions or concerns with ANYTHING going on with my property". Last week I sent an e-mail on Monday and left voice mails on his cell phoneevery day since. Today I tried to reach his boss ****** and my call gets bounced to the ********** office. For the life of me, I cannot understand how this company remains in business
