Poor Service for ********** My lawn is much worse than when I employed TruGreen to be my lawn specialist. I have complained to them, letting them know their services were not meeting my standards, but their technicians just wanted to tell me what I was doing wrong, or how the road heat was causing the problem or other excuses. Weeds kept coming back, and my lawn seemed to be dying. I had to replace a large portion of my lawn based on (in my opinion) their service. I asked a manager to call me back, but they were rude and did not seem to care. I asked for the General Manager to call me back, but that did not happen. I am out money since I paid for a year's service but canceled them halfway through the process; therefore, it cost me more than anticipated for a much worse lawn. I would not recommend anyone using them since their "see the difference with TruGreen" motto on their home page is not true. My lawn is the proof, and they have my year fees for only half of a year's service, which my lawn is no better now.TruGreen

The contract was for a year but we just learn that was only 8 months, but we were told for a year. We were charged upfront $387.00 for whole year so far they only did 5 treatments, we had to remind them to come every month to come & treat our lawn. 3 times the lawn was over treated due to that lawn was burnt. When we called today there system shows 6 treatments apparently was only 5. When we asked to cancel the contract we were told that only $100.00 well get refund. I need to get resolved we need to get ******.TruGreen

For many years I've had True Green and aggravation because you get what you pay for! In the past they have put weed control in my backyard which I only put fertilizer so many times I can't even tell you and cause my dog seizures due to ingesting what I didn't even want on my lawn! I have spoken to these people I have documents instructions they do a service they cannot get this right. I have fought with the Albany manager I've spoken no one can get their people to actually read the paperwork so that they can actually deliver the services that I'm paying for! So once again today they were supposed to come back cuz they can never do a service correct. And they had to come back cuz they were supposed to do fertilizer in the back and weed and fertilizer in the front and once again they just put fertilizer in the front and the back this time. So they were contacted to come back and do only weed in the front so what did they do weed in the back in the front and fertilizer in the back of the front once again this company has idiots working for them! **** who runs the company is an a** and has actually come over here when one of his men actually fried my lawn and told me they were going to come back dig it up and reseed it which they never did then another time I had one of the men come back and he broke my planter that was $100 planter in my backyard and just left it in the middle of my lawn destroyed. They are not responsible they do not do what you pay them to do I don't know what's wrong with them that they can't read instructions but they cannot. They have caused me a lot of aggravation and pet vet bills because of their unability to read a direction! Calling them you get nowhere there's no supervisors available no one ever calls you back you can never get justification finally this year I've had it I'm canceling my service at the end of this year and I'm going with true armor God help you if you pick this company!TruGreen

Specifically residing in the *************, ** ************ area I am giving True Green a one star review because that is the lowest value option. I have been contracted for weed control, pest service and tree and shrub service. The techs spent more time sitting g in their trucks than treating. Bugs are rampant, weeds continue to flourish and tree and **** treatment consists oh only one small patch of mulch. Having spoke with an area manager and have another call in for another conversation, typically a re-treatment is offered. Talking with customer service was no help being short and having excuses for lack of service, ie: our weeds must be a different variety. I talked with the customer service rep and she said they dont offer refund due to my contract not being satisfied.TruGreen

1 starMy grass looked better before they started working on my yard.The mistake I made was that I paid them the full amount up front so I could not cancel the service .I paid 200 something for aeration and that was a waste of my money .Once a month they would put a little flag in my yard when no one is home saying they were there . I would ask them every time to call me an hour before so I make sure I am home . I applied for a 6 step program, after several applications my lawn is ********? I was told that my service provider, should have told me about the redress program. Also I was told that, there is no iron or nitrogen in this application which would help to feed and made my lawn greener. But Trugreen advised that your lawn will be greener. I'm not satisfied with this program or their explaining that something is going on with my grass. I've always had good growth and greening. Since their applications I've seen nothing but ******** of my lawn. They are killing my lawnTruGreen

If I could give True green negative stars, unfortunately I would. My primary concern is customer service. The general call service agents are fine because they are technically helpless, caught in poor mismanagement. However the local management it awful, often avoiding customer calls and taking weeks, not days, to get back to emergency calls. We were new customers for the 2023 season and since the first application our relationship with this business has been a nightmare. Our first treatment resulted in an over spray they finally concluded after six weeks of back and forth between local and call center agents. The agent that came out to spray in May (they didnt even come out for an initial service in April) sprayed into our gardens and property bushes which killed 60% of our growth. They offered us minimal monetary compensation or a percentage off of the upcoming seasons service. After this issue, they skipped our July visit which resulted in a variety of weeds growing into our lawn. Come August grubs got into our lawn and ate 70% of our grass. It looks horrible and on top of it all our lawn was beautiful at the beginning of the season. Currently I cannot get anyone, including my local manager to call me back to remedy this situation. We are so frustrated and dissatisfied with the service we PAID them to administer this year. We want our money back due to the fact that it took this lawn care company 2.5 months to destroy what took us two years to cultivate a wonderful law . I have had issues with this company for months now. I am on the monthly plan and my bill is always wrong. I have spoken with more than three representatives who has look at my bill and stated that they can see I'm on the monthly plan yet my ******************* is wrong each month charging me hundredsof dollars. I told one representative that I was unhappy with the service and tired of the billing issues and just want to cancel. She insisted that I speak with someone. When speaking to that someone, she stated she would give me a credit and change the pay date. I told her that I wasn't working and wasn't happy but she insisted ***** the service. My bill is still wrong, nothing she said would happen, has happened. They attempted to collect on the wrong date 5 times and my grass is the worst on the block. Not green at all! The mosquitoes are worst as well. When I signed up they said I could cancel at anytime, with no penalties. I have called and left messages but i ger no response or call backs. Please tell my how to cancel. Even when telling them I'm unemployed, they won't let me cancel. I feel bullied into keeping the service. This is so unprofessional.TruGreen

These guys are a total SCAM! They never showed up when they said they would. I had to call and complain to actually get them to show up. When they had not showed up on over 3 months they gave me a call saying that they found bugs eating my grass. So I asked the person calling when they were last on my property and after looking it up they realized it had been almost 3 months so how could they know? They didn't they are only trying to scam me out of more money. There was absolutely no change to my lawn despite their so called guarantee. I would not spend another ***** on this service other than my initial year. Well as it turns out their service automatically starts a subscription at the one year point whether the original treatments were completed or not. So since they kept forgetting to show up they weren't able to complete their treatments in the allotted time and when it took longer than a year for them to complete they automatically charged me despite no additional treatments.TruGreen
