      Not sure if this is this same for all Dollar Generals because I only shop at my closest one, but if it is......DG is making a killing overcharging people! The store I've noticed this at is the DG on 67 in Venus. Huge discrepancy in posted prices compared to what they ring up & you are charged, I've found as much as .80 an item difference. That adds up fairly quickly, especially when you are buying multiple items. This has been going on for awhile now & employees are no help whatsoever because they say they have to charge whatever the computer says!

      My local dollar general store number #22949 location in wright city, ok is fairly new but is the worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life! The store manager is lazy and is rude to customers and his staff and if you go when he's working you'll wait in line over 5minutes or have to use self checkout while he's outside the store smoking, on his phone, or in his vehicle! The employees are nice but the store manager is a joke! Went in there the other day and a nice lady was working but she was having a lot of trouble figuring things out, said it was only her First Day and that her store manager left her there by herself! On her first day, that's very unprofessional and very poor management! Untill he's fired I will not return to that store location and I know he has several other complaints other than just me half the town will tell ya he's not doing his job! Oh and btw his boss has been called about his poor performance and nothing's been done!

      Prices on the shelves are not the price charged at the registers. Always higher at the registers by .25 up to 1.00 $ on every item. To offer the paying customer an "coupon" for $ 5.00 off is ineffective, when the savings you thought you were getting is actually being added on instead, due to over charge on most items. When an associate is asked to correct the price to match the shelf label, they are unpleasant about doing so. The stores are seriously understaffed (employees are not hired) and the appearance of the stores reflect this. Stock is not getting out to the shelf and what is out of the backrooms is left on carts threw out the stores ( safety is not an priority ). Before an new store magically appears , perhaps the draw string on the payroll budget needs an serious look at. Less in the CEO's pocket and increase in the payroll per store. HIRE SOME PEOPLE .

      The prices marked on the shelves at all of your stores in Bedford IN are much lower than what rings up on the cash register. So you end up paying alot more for items than advertised. This is false advertisement. To display 1 price and charge another for items when they are rung up. This happened to me yesterday morning at the Oolitic, IN store. There was employees outside the front entrance smoking and playing music. The stores are always very unorganized. Specifically the Oolitic store and Judah store. There are always carts of stock lined up in the aisles and you cannot get through and the shelves are always bare. The employees at Both of these stores are always outside of the front doors smoking and playing music. Disgraceful and a complete rip off. I live very close to the Judah, IN store and it is always never stocked and carts of stock are blocking the aisle. I decided to go to the next closest store which is Oolitic and it was terrible. I will never go back to a dollar general again. I have given it multiple chances.

      This is a review for your store located at 8150 Cliffdale Rd Fayetteville NC 28314. I've been shopping here for almost 3 years now and have had no problem. The crew here has always been nice and they do the best they can for the volume of business they do. Recently a new employee has choose to single me out. I know why because I have collected change from customers before to help me purchase food and essential that I may need throughout the month that I need help with and also I can't get **** or taxi's to get me if I have more products or bulky products that I can't carry I've had to walk the cart to my house and walk it back to the store. Well when I went in yesterday to return some products that employee informed me that because I had walked my groceries home that he said corporate said he can ban me from shopping there. I was not given any time frame so I'm assuming it's forever. I just want to warn other people this can happen to them. The nearest store like this to me I have to catch a bus and they only run during certain hours. This is going to be really harder on me than I already am going through trying to provide for my household. Thank you for listening.

      Dollar General in Benton KY has prices on shelf that are much lower than what registers charge. Complaint to manager was deflected by saying they have not been able to change prices on shelf because Corporate had not sent signage. Refused to refund difference because corporate does not allow it. Same price difference several days later. He says he needed to check cameras to see if I had purchased the items that I presented the receipt for.

      So in the creston iowa store was told by Sherie cashier the ******* cigarettes cartons are scanned by pack not by the carton UPC. My nephew gets these for a bit over $23. I was going to be charged over $43. When I ask why much more. Sherie told me the above stsrd reason And said if ******** gets them at $23 then the cashier is scanning the carton upcoming not the 10 packs UPC they way your cashiers are trained. I have the receipt. And will file complaints at the appropriate state departments and call the Leggit tobacco company. Your ripping off the customers that make your company rich. I know ALOT of smokers in SW Iowa. You are at the top if worst ever retail stores. This won't help your rep. Around creaton. Wow that's sad really sad a company does this.

      On 8/9/2022 around 10 am. I went to the store #20212 Dollar General to get some sandwich meats and other items. The store was a huge mess. There was a Woman working in the floor at the coolers. I told her I would squeeze by her. She had the aisle blocked by a cardboard buggy and such. I took my buggy a moved a empty milk crate. She jumped up and screamed you see me working here. I noticed she had ear buds in and hadn't heard me saying I would squeeze by her. She mumbled she couldn't get anything done because of you people. I pushed my buggy to the side and told her I was trying to shop but just forget it. Walking away from her and up the next aisle looking for management she starts yelling at me again. Put that **** meat back in my freezer. I yelled back saying if you're working, you put it up. I continued yelling for management to come to me when the cashier responded the woman at the freezer was the Manager. I feel as Tho I was attacked by this woman trying to shop her store. She ordered me out! Help

      I went to this General Dollar store#22948 on July 11, the labels say one price and when you go to the register to pay they charge you another price. It's not the first time it's happened, so I decided to make a claim and what the cashier told me was that it's not the same, obviously I went and took a photo of the label and the product so that he could see that it was the same, and his answer was whether I was going to buy it or not.
      I talked to another employee I think she was the manager and she told me that "we are changing the prices". But I came back days later and nothing has changed. I consider this to be fraud with buyers so I want this company to know what is going on and if they are going to change the prices I think they should change the labels first before they put it in the system.

      Today August 9, I went to this store again since it is close to my house, and they continue to have the same problem, which is a consumer fraud. The worst thing is that when I told the cashier he called the one in charge of making the changes in the system, and she approached with a very bad attitude and said that she couldn't change it because the update was already in the system, and soon the labels would change, I told her that they said the same thing more than two weeks ago and she replied, do you know how much inventory we have?

      The store is supposed to be open til 10:00 pm you can never get ahold of anyone when you call. The store closes at 5-5:30 pm for the rest of the day and also closes for lunch between 12:00-1 itÂ’s closed for most people who work during those hours it is false advertising when they are supposed to be open 8am-10pm and they are not this store is a dais appointment to our community.
